Nah. Cam wasn't with us at the time (he was with his aunts and grandmother). The employee who agreed to take the pics said that it was the strangest request for a photo he'd heard on the job. However, he then showed us the Rebel Alliance insignia on the pin on his collar and revealed that he was a fan too. But not nearly as big of geeks as Blizz and I, both she and I told him. :w00t:

Another one of the kids playing, and one on Jensen Beach. And as you can see, just like Luke Skywalker, who had his head on the horizon...so is mine on the horizon.

Blizz is from Minnesota where it was 30-something degrees when she left to come here. But I live in Florida all year round and I don't even go to the beach. I sure don't want to live in snow again, but I like it when it gets chilly in the winter here. Heat all year round sucks the sweat of a rhino's bald...well, you get the idea. I actually wouldn't mind some of your cold right about now.

Well, it's not exactly freezing right now - the sun itself is quite warm - but some of that Floreda (Simpsons spelling ;)) weather would go down a treat. :D We're just anticipating another smelly, wet winter.

I'm not sure I'd like all year 'round sunshine either, but then again right now I think twice before taking the dog down to Portobello beach for a run about.

Do you remember my Live Journal entry when I wrote about the tastes to die for, and described how redic delish chocolate lava cake is? Blizz got to find out firsthand (and 2nd hand too, she alternated the fork between hands) how awesome it is.

And BTW, the photos don't do our time together justice. I had a blast with Blizz (a Blizz Blast= fun times with Blizz). As a few peeps know, I wasn't my true self at C3 (curses to my body double for stealing my plane ticket)...but Blizz finally got to hang out with the real me and experience Tovorosity in it's true form, homogenized and uncensored. In a small way I feel vindicated. But that's all I care to say about times of the past, other than the days of the near-past depicted on this page. :neener:

What that means is anybody's guess. I hope I'm never so drunk that I'll be photographed in a dress. Because with my pale hairy legs, no one will be impressed.

Last weekend twenty plus members of the debate squad, myself included, left at 2:45 in the morning to drive to a small town near the Nebraska border to compete in a debate tournament. Picture one is my partner and I with our medals (fifth place, open division) and picture two is why we traveled so far (there is an interesting prize for first place in sweeps).

For some reason my hair looked blonder when I shaved it. It could have something to do with that pic was taken in the summer and the others in the winter. I definitly prefer it shorter than longer.

G20 is a meeting of the finance ministers from the 20 richest countries. It was one of those anti-globalisation, anti-corporatism protests.
