I plan on going to Celebration 3, that is, if its in San Diego. I've already signed a petition to make it there, I advice you all to do the same, at petitionsonline.com.
Who's going?

I whole heartedly agree, the SD Convention center rules for this kind of thing!

If it's in Indy again (or somewhere close like Cincy, Columbus, or Cleveland) I'll be there.

I wasn't able to go to Celebration 1 or 2, but if 3 is in San Diego, it'll be perfect. Its my last chance. I've always wanted to go.
Sign the petition!!

They will never have it in San Diego. The point is to have a central US location. I think they will most likely have it in Indy again. I am going, wherever the have it.

I wish I could say the same. Indiana is just way too far for me. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unhappy.gif

I was at the first one and it was great. I missed the second one due to poor planning. I will make it a point to go for the 3rd/last one.
Rumor had it soon after C2, that they booked the same venue for 3. Who knows?

San Diego is not the main thing I care about. It could be in any city in southern California. I just seriously want to go. I've always wanted to go, and hopefully I can now.

I wanted to go to the last one, but I couldn't afford it (I'm talking about transportation, lodging, etc.). Hopefully I'll have enough cash next time.

Yes, it does cost to get in. I doubt I will be going to Celebration III. Celebration II was fun, but I think I'm finished with my conventions for a while!! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif

Indiana is too far for me. Unless Lucasfilm decides to make the Celebration 3 in Paris, I don't think I'll be there.

The celebration isn't only because of the movie it's Star Wars in general.
Remember people, official Star Wars conventions only happen wen a new movie comes out. It's a once in a life time chance to meet your favorite stars of Star Wars, and for alot of other things.

Agent Bond is right. Unfortunately, I haven't been to any Celebrations. This is my last chance. I have to go!

I doubt it. I don't think there will be anymore Star Wars "Celebrations" after C3. You'll have to settle for the smaller sci-fi conventions.

I'd love to go if it's on the East Coast

That'd be awesome if they had a celebration for the Ultimate Edition, but I guess its just wishful thinking; I don't think they'd do that.

i've had this question for a while and these seems like a good thread to ask it in...
has anyone seen the show on MTV where the father and son go to a star wars convention and bond and stuff? my question is, was that celebration 2 or just some other convention? also, does anyone know those guys?
JediKeri.

I saw the same thing, and yes it WAS C2. They met up with some of the Fighting 501st and the Son finally got into the Celebration at much proding from his father. One of the 501st lent him a Stormtrooper outfit.
It was fun to watch.
And yes I'm also planning to go to C3. Provided it's in the middle of the country(or as close as it can get).

I'm going. Yeah, I know, that I live in north Europe, but I just have to go. I don't care, that I can't afford it at the moment, but I have all this figured out, how I can go to C3. I'll find this money and I'll find this time.
