You know the queen from TPM, well i have this idea and i want to talk about it. I want negative evedents(negavtive evedents is proof of something not exsiting, or something like that) To see not if she did have it but could she of had it?

What if the queen had an older brother?

And if so what happened to him?

This is one of my many many story ideas i have just got to talk about!

Not every family is a pefect example, how do you know what he would have done?

What if he left when he failed to get into office?

Maybe, he almost started a civil war?

You never know what he could have done, even more so with leaders.

I am planning on makeing this an official starwars comic book!(that is of corse, if i can get copyrights from George) and i want to know two things!

1. If i made the thing how would people react and what would they think?

2. I need to know if it is a possiblity! so that when i bring the idea to Geogre Lucas (if i ever get the chance) that it makes sense! And that is why i posted this thread!

Her brother may react to Anakin as much as Owen does - with disdain.
He could be jealous of her rise to power through the legislative youth program. 'Why is there a Queen but no King?' and stir up discontent. (which doesn't work and the Amidala is returned for another term)
He's a skeleton in somebody's closet which Amidala knows nothing of. He could have gone off to become a Jedi, and failed, allowing darkside tendancies to run through him.

Any Expanded Universe type stroy "makes sense" if the author relates the characters correctly. In other words, if you describe the events of your idea, the reader will discover, in this case, that Amidala has a brother.

I would like to ask (as a fellow aspiring author) what your plans are in terms of contacting Lucas on this?

I'm just messing, but really, there's no way you'll get your material published. All comic materials being released along the Star Wars license are currently being published by Dark Horse comics, and they only hire comic authors who are established within their own ranks or have a good reputation with other major companies.

Also, asking George wouldn't do anything. He doesn't have any decision in picking who writes what for the Expanded Universe. His company approves who writes and whatnot, but not him. But Lucasfilm doesn't take creative submissions of any kind unless they are submitted through their official licenses (which, right now, are Dark Horse, Del Rey [the novels] and Wizards of the Coast [RPG, magazines, etc...]).

Padmé Naberrie has a sister, Sola, but does not have a brother. That comes from the original Episode II drafts and from scenes which were cut in post-production. No brothers. And none of the rest of her family got into politics, in any case.

Remember guys, Naboo is not a monarchy ... at least not in that sense. The titles "Queen" and "King" are just like the title "President" in our own nation. Remember Sio Bibble's words in TPM ... "We are a democracy. The people have decided."
