ya - I thought of hope but hope would be born at the end of the film with the beginning of the rebellion.
I don't like courage being lost either, although that would be a real downer if the Jedi started to loose it when their numbers are decimated.
Maybe Yoda freaks and runs away?

Fair enough. So . . . hope isnt exactly lost, and courage would sort of remain since in the end a few rebels pratically declare an
intifada against the overwhelming favorite. So, how about innocence? In my eyes, Padme is the best way to explain this. She dies in the film, and peace is shattered throughout the galaxy.
How about:
Heroes will die, innocence will be lost, and an Empire will be born.

You know, sometimes I hope that is so. I can't help wonder if Lucas, McCallum, or any of the guys would take a look at our threads, just to see what we would want to see.
But Lucas already said that he's very against focus groups.

Some possibilities....
Since TPM was promoted with the tag line 'Every story has a beginning' I imagine this one will probably be 'Every story has an ending' or how about 'The saga concludes' (tying in with 'the saga begins" for TPM and 'the saga continues' for AOTC). My personal favorite would be 'Visit the galaxy far far away one last time'

That won't be the tagline because Episode III is the third of six parts. It's in the middle, not the end.
I suppose it could be "Every Saga Has A Middle," lol.

No, it is the end, in the sense that it is the final chapter remaining to be told. It is the 'last part' of the story, and the end of the Star Wars franchise. Just because it is not chronologically the end for the characters in the story, doesn't mean that it isn't the end for us. I think that Lucasfilm will (and should) promote Episode III as THE LAST STAR WARS MOVIE EVER
