Will there be classic ships in EP3, like TIEs

Maybe a prototype that Anakin/Vader flies? But I would rather see some different ships - kinda like a Republican Cruiser beefed up to take on the early star destroyers.

Well, since the Republic and the Empire use the same ship designer, I guess that if we see Republic fighters in Episode III, they will have the same look the TIE fighters have.

We've seen a lot of ships that obviously develop into the ones we love in the OT:
Clone Transports - Star Destroyer
Clone Walker things - AT-AT
Jedi Starfighter - A-Wing
Darth Maul's ship and Droid Army ships - kinda tie fighters

Where's the x-wing, probably the most important ship in the trilogy? I want to see an x-wing predecessor in the next movie.

We've already seen them, they're called Sith Infiltrators, Jedi Starfighters, and Republic Assualt Ships. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif

Well as we have seen prototypes of ships that will ultimately develop into the ships from the OT, I would have to say that we won't get to see any TIE fighters in Episode III but we should get to see something from the TIE's past, a ship that looks something similar that the viewer will know that in later years it will be the TIE fighter.

When the Jedi Starfighter opens up for attack mode, it looks like a TIE fighter.
