Casting Call: A Summer's Dream

Looking for a few roles to be filled...

1) Sio Bibble (I really want someone who can portray the actual voice dead on from Ep1 and Ep2, otherwise I'll change the part to a generic Royal Security Guard)

sample: "I'm sorry sir, the Princess is VERY busy, I must ask you to leave now."


2) Kun Lago (male, gritty low-rounded voice, political leader who's upset about recent developments, around 50+ years old)

sample: "Under my very nose! It's not enough for Amidala to destroy everything I've worked for. Now she's taking my son!"

3) Narrator (low/round voice)

sample: " A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…Political turmoil has engulfed the planet of Naboo."

Thanks guys, got them. If you want to try for Kun Lago I need you both to redo that particular sample. Think lower voice..round...the guy is bald...a little overweight and around 50 years old..

Keep the sample quick..angry..he's yelling at his son.

You found your three yet, Keith? If not, you might try getting in touch with Jay Chipman. I think he had someone playing "Sio Bibble" in "Coruscant?" a whlie back. Maybe he can still get in touch with that person.

I listened to Jay's performance but it's not quite what I was hoping/looking for. I'm looking for an excellent Sio Bibble sound-a-like, I'm going to replace the character with a Royal Security Guard if I can't find anyone. He's not such an important character in the storyline. He can easily be replaced.

Nobody's been close to what I want so far for Kun Lago and I haven't quite heard the narrator voice I'm looking for. Close, but if I choose one of the actors who's already auditioned..then I'd need them to work on their dialect.

Casting is almost done. We have one more slot to fill and that is Sio Bibble. You guys got til Saturday to send in an audition for Sio...after that I'll announce the person who I've selected to play a Naboo Royal Security Guard in Sio's place.

Casting is done. Couldn't find anyone willing to do Sio Bibble or really able to do a really amazing one so that will conclude casting for aSD. The script will be done today (for the most part). That means production starts this weekend.
