Nathan Butler

This is a repost from the starwarsfanworks.com news page.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>Could Prelude to Hope, the long-awaited fan film, be making an appearance in the fan audio genre instead? Well, sort of.
The Prelude to Hope project was recently relaunched from the ground up by Devon Read and the crew at Clear Concrete Productions. In the process, the old script for the film was tossed out, as was the old project's footage, and new scripts were being written. Among the various writers working on new scripts (one of which would become the new Prelude to Hope) were Nathan Butler, Chad Peter, and a few others.
Both Peter and Butler have since separated themselves from the project, and neither of their scripts are being used for the new Prelude. While it is unknown whether (but likely that) Peter's script will find its way to the public eye via message boards or something similar (as it should, since I'm told it's pretty good), Butler has received the go-ahead from Devon Read (upon whose original outline Butler's new Prelude script was based) to take his script in other directions.
Thus, it is very likely that Nathan Butler's Prelude to Hope: Version 2.0 script will become a new audio drama sometime in late 2004 or early 2005. The character names, of course, will change, and it will most likely have some slight alterations to better fit with Butler's established continuity (from Second Strike, Anthology, and the Second Strike Sourcebook). Perhaps we might finally discover how the Alliance first learned about Project FlashDeath's existence, something only hinted at in Second Strike when Jaren first learns its true nature.
If this happens, as it most likely will, keep an eye out for news on the new project, most likely renamed Star Wars: Nothing Changes here at Star Wars Fanworks. [/b][/quote]
I'm curious what the fan audio community's thoughts are on this, given that so many fan audio people are crossovers from the fan film genre.
