Welcome Jedi, Sith, smugglers, bounty hunters, pilots, droids...

This thread is to be used as a hub for people who are undecided on what to do with a character. Think of it as a giant room dedicated to a network for hologram communication.

Anyone can post a bio of their RPG characters and explain their intentions, preferences, etc. Everything can obviously be viewed by everyone in this network. Feel free to have open, in-character discussions. Some people choose to be secretive. This is fine, it's what PM's are for. But some people feel that an open display of characters and their intentions will lead to a more comfortable RPG experience. Some people are more concerned about making a good story than making an uber-clan/character.

You can advertise a guild/order if you'd like. Or you can just advertise your character in hopes of finding a thread where they will fit in. New threads will be created from the alliances formed at the Hub. Ultimately, I think we'll have a new variety of threads and guilds emerge and the RPG section will be more approachable.

Stay in character as much as possible while in the Hub. If you want to post about events that take place outside the Hub they can be easily worked in by assuming that a probe droid or something along those lines has intercepted the information it relays to the Hub.

I realize that staying in-character could create some problems by excluding characters that are in different time periods, dimensions, or just different types of RPGs in general. Do the best you can to make things work. Some will post IC, some OOC. You might want to make a note at the top of your post who your message might apply to though, if it is indeed a message and not a bio.

Once a character has found a story to enter, feel free to announce it and list where they can be found. This can be done with a new post and/or by editing a bio you've made to state that the character has been recruited, befriended, or whatever makes your story work.

The Hub is a place to discover you friends, your enemies, and even yourself.

There are no battles in the Hub. The Hub cannot be taken over. It's meant to help you.

I'm sure by now you're all sick and tired of Darth Cheewub and his Bedwetting Apprentice Darth Abbadon saying "Join the sith or we shall destroy you all" and other ridiculous banter about the Sith eliminating those who refuse their views on life. I surely was and that's why I joined the Tainted. Unlike the Sith we don't use Intimidation and hollow threats of Join or Die (like the before mentioned bedwetter is famous for).

We simply offer all who are unsatisfied of how dealings against the sith are currently being conducted by their associations the chance to join an Order that resists the Sith ways and ignores their lifeless psychoblabber. Once again unlike the sith we will think nothing of it if you choose not to join. But you are welcome to help us defeat the Sith.

Ritt was abandoned on Mos Espa at the age of 3 and sold into slavery. He lived with various gaurdians that were assigned to him until he was 16. He was used for tasks that took a small frame, a patient mind and an intelligence above that of the average slave. He had been a slave for as long as he could remember but there were very few of them he would call his equals. After he was no longer assigned gaurdians, it wasn't 3 months before Ritt escaped. He was able to deactivate the tracker inside him with the help of some radiation from a back up power generator that he would maintain in his early teens. He knew exactly what tools to use and exactly how to reach the generator himself.

He still resides on tatooine, away from civilization most of the time. He has explored himself, his abilities with the force, and encountered great conflict. He sees the strength in both of them and cannot decide what to do. Currently he is on a journey of enlightenment. He wears no clothes and carries no weapons. He finds resources whenever he needs them but has learned to live with little. He misses the days when he at least had a gaurdian to look up to. He took the name of his first gaurdian, Ritt Deacon, who apparently went insane and tried to escape, blowing himself up in the process.

Free from the restraints of life. That's all Ritt wants. That's all his gaurdian wanted, who is free now.

Ritt Deacon is looking for his place. He will wear what he is given by his fellow beings. He will fight for what seems to be a worthy cause. He will follow the path he feels will set him free.

This was a rare occurance indeed. Cheewub, the Grand Master of the Sith Academy was to make an appearance to the public. Regardless of the fact that it was only in hologram form, this was something that rarely, if ever, happened. He always prided himself on his solitude, his elusiveness, and now here he was, displaying himself for all to see.

Of course, they could not see much. His hood cloaked his face quite a bit, and his small stature was engulfed by the robe he wore. The blue-black image of he flickered and danced about slightly as the message was sent.

"It has come to my attention that many of you are displeased with where you are in life," he began, having become a far more elegant speaker than months ago, "I can show you a way to change that."

"You see, the dark side is not this 'evil' and 'wrong' side of the force that the Jedi often like to portray it as. The Sith in my academy are learning of the true meaning of the dark side: Control, Stength, and Power. One can become a Sith without resorting to mindless slaughtering. In fact, we encourage our Sith never to kill unless absolutely needed. An ally is more valuable than a dead enemy.

So, if you wish to be educated on the matters of the Dark Side, then contact my student, Darth Abaddon, or I."

With that, the hologram faded away into nothingness. A blinking light remained, giving coordinates in case someone cared to contact the Sith Academy.

Jak Lennox was born on Corellia a few years after Chancellor Palpatine declared martial law, and named himself Emperor. He was an orphan, his real parents were killed during the rise of the Empire under uncertain details, so he was raised by smugglers, who were drifting from one side of the galaxy to the other, not taking sides.

In his late teens, Jak became fascinated by the Empire's protocol, with their clean-cut organization and their fierce dedication to the Emperor. At a young age, he demonstrated exceptional piloting abilities, having learned from his smuggler parents. When the time came, he decided to enlist in the Imperial Academy with hopes of becoming a pilot for the Empire. He joined about a year before the Battle of Yavin. During that time, he started showing great intelligence, and demonstrated he had the skills of a strategist, and managed to receive numerous commendations during his time in the academy. After 4 years in the academy, he graduated in the top 10 of his class, right around the time of the Battle of Hoth.

Due to his exceptional skills, he was placed in a flight squadron that was part of Lord Vader's own fleet. After the Imperial victory on Hoth, which scattered the Rebels across the galaxy, he helped in the capture of Rebel officers trying to flee. And during that time, he helped capture and eliminate traitors within the Empire such as Admiral Harkov, who attempted to defect to the Rebel Alliance, but was captured and subsequently killed by Vader, as well as Admiral Zaarin, who briefly attempted a Coup d'etat against the Empire by capturing Emperor Palpatine. But Jak helped Vader save Palpatine from Zaarin, and thanks to Lennox's heroic efforts, he stopped Zaarin from essentially destroying the Empire, and for Jak's heroic efforts, he was personally awarded by Emperor Palpatine.

Afterwards, Jak assisted Admiral Thrawn in hunting down and killing Zaarin. He fought at the Battle of Endor as a part of the TIE Interceptor squadrons. He survived, but he was forced to flee to the Twi'lek planet of Ryloth after the Empire lost to the Rebel forces. He is still in hiding, hoping to lead the Empire back to its glory days again. He is captivated by the beauty of the Rebellion's own Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan. He is just mesmerized by her features, her petite body and her will to survive. He hopes he could possibly use her to bring the Rebellion down to its knees...

He is a fiercely loyal Imperial officer, ready to die for the Empire, and is hoping to restore order within the Empire so the Empire may one day reclaim the galaxy.

History: Not much is known about the history of Darth Morder but some claim that he goes back to the times when Yoda was young and the Galactic Republic was nothing more than a future proposal. Though his full potential and powers in the Force are unknown one thing that's certain is that Morder is a man totally consumed by the ways of the Dark side of the force and a Warrior to be reckoned with. After fooling the Sith into believing he had an interest in joining their numbers the Sith fell for this claim hook line and sinker and introduced him to their leader Darth Cheewub who had his Apprentice Darth Abaddon take Morder into the desert torture him and leave him to his own defences in a hope to mature him into the ways to control his emotions and become even stronger in the ways of the Sith. Of course Morder used this as his escape and revealed the Tainted Monastical order to the galaxy. Within days the galaxy's opinion of the sith became clear as more than 5 people joined the Dantooine monastry where he had set in. Nobody knows of his true intentions but what they do know is that he has become a thorn to the Sith. One that they will go to any length to remove.

He approached a figure cloaked in black and introduced himself and surrendered himself to the will of the temple master. Narvik is now in training by The Sith Master Darth Cheewub.

The holo emitter flickered and then the green image of a hodded Sith emerged from the thin air. The image stayed still for a few minutes and then slowly the Sith removed his hood to reveal his pale white skin and long dark hair.

"My fellow beings, my name is Darth Abaddon and I stand before you and speak not as a threat but as your salvation. I am a Sith and will always be that for there is no changing your destiny. True, you may devert from your true path or even try denying the enevitable, but nethertheless what you are is impossible to escape from. I appear to you now, Jedi, Tainted, Smuggler and the rest of you not as a figure who wishes you all dead but instead to offer the hand of acceptance within my order. You who know yourselves to be superior to those around you, why should you always follow their rules and their timeframes! The Sith offer a way to learn that which will make you a god among men but will also teach you control and purpose. Through the Sith your destiny will be reached! Join us and together we will unravel the secrets of the universe and crush our enemies before us!"

With these words the image faded and then there was nothing!

Bio-
Stee Jans served with the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War and later the New Republic as an X-Wing Pilot. After a nasty run-in with Pirates resulting in his capture and the subsequent torture and death of his Squadron Mates for information concerning the whereabouts of a certain New Republic convoy, Jans received an honorable discharge and set out as a Mercenary, always with the stray hope of finding the Pirates again and see that they pay for what they did. The severe physical and emotional trauma done to him during his torture has led to occasional flash-backs and black-outs, during which Jans may repeat in outloud events of his custody and sometimes irrational behavior not usually exhibitted.

Rann was born on Corellia. He never knew his parents and lived in a foster home for 16 years. During his childhood he learned to pilot, and shoot from his foster father who ran a shipping industry. At 16 two force users broke into his home and murdered his family the two force users left Rann for dead.

Rann survived the attack and vowed to avenge his families death. He then joined the Corellian Secruity Force. He worked and mastered his fighting techniques there till he was 20. With his savings he bought a Sienar Fleet Systems Guardian class light cruiser off the black market. He named it "Wraith".

Rann then travled in "Wraith" to Yavin where he had heard of jedi being seen there. He stumbled onto an ancient jedi temple. While in the temple he met a rouge jedi Teral. Teral was a jedi master before Darth Sidious killed the jedi, Teral had hidden himself here, and had lived here scince.

Teral taught Rann to use a lightsaber and how to identify jedi. Rann, not being attuned to the force could not learn any of the jedi's powers, so instead Teral taught him how to resist them, somewhat. At the age of 25 he left Yavin after Teral died and sought out other Jedi/Sith. Even though he had meet one and saw the good in him, he still had a thirst for revenge. From then till the present he has killed 6 Jedi/Sith some apprentices some knights. He keeps their lightsabers on his belt as a reminder.

Shaun Mantor was born on Bestine around the time the Old Republic had turned into the Galactic Empire, and galactic civil war spread across the galaxy like wild fire. He, like many of the Rebel Alliance's recruits, was eighteen when he joined. He joined after his parents were taken for "questioning" by the Empire, and were later believed to be killed. He joined around the time of the Battle of Yavin, but he did not take part in this victorious battle for the Alliance. He is currently stationed on Hoth, with the new Rebel base.

Short Bio:
Mand Kerin was born on Mrkyr where is parents were killed mysteriously when he was 13.
From then until he turned 23, Mand Kerin served as an Stormtrooper.
When Mand turned 23, he realized the path of the Empire wasn't really the path he wanted to be on, so he escaped unnoticed just before the Battle of Hoth and became a smuggler and bounty hunter.

Mand, when 24, was smuggling technology from an Imperial base on Sullust when he discovered a junkyard containing an Imperial Shuttle (which with his expertise would run again) and a broken Nanny droid, which he also took and fixed. Mand barely escaped with his life and
ever since the event, the Empire has had a price on his head.

Appearance:
Mand Kerin wears a long, brown coat that falls to his heels. Black goggles hide his deep-blue eyes. His cheeks, chin and upper-lip are covered in brown bristles. His brown hair is short and usually messy.
He keeps is blaster rifle holstered on his back and his Vibro-knife in his dirty, brown traveling boots, which he wears over his dark blue pants.
Mand can usually always be seen smoking a deathstick.

Mand spends most of his time as a bounty hunter, but is always ready to except a 'smuggling' offer.
