Can anyone suggest a decent Star Wars MUD? Thanks.

MUD??? what does that stand for?

To sum it up, I copied this from a site:
MUD stands for Multi-User Dungeon, Multi-User Domain, or Multi-User Dimension. Regardless of what it stands for, a MUD is an online environment where multiple users are logged on and interacting with one and other. On some MUDs you only interact with other players that are logged on, similar to an online chat system. On other MUDs you can also interact with a game world where you can explore, fight monsters, and collect treasure, either alone or in the company of other players that are logged on.
It's a text-based online game. Think Everquest, but with words instead of graphics.
I've found a number of SW MUDs but I can't find any ones that sound decent and are active. I can't try them out on this computer either due to some program issues.

There's star wars galaxies, but not sure if that is what you're looking for.

Wow dude. Your goin' back to old school I'm thinkin'. I haven't seen anything like that in ages.
Maybe if you could just find a good MIRC RP chat room that could tide you over?

Star Wars MUSH (http://www.starwarsmush.com) is very cool! I play for a couple of years already. Immense galaxy portrait, with factions, the Empire, the New Republic, Commerce Guild, droids, swoop races, space battles, jedis, feature characters (Han, Leia, Tarkin...) and is based on the d6 Star Wars roleplaying system.
Gotta love it! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/inlove.gif
I was really lookin on this forums to see if anyone here played but there seems that I'm the first one... style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blush.gif

Yea, I wasn't really looking for a MUSH, although I do yearn for a social star wars rp experience. I've never played star wars rpg though, or any other pen and paper for that matter. I could probably pick it up pretty quickly but I'd still prefer a MUD right now.
Maybe I should just save up a nice stash of money and swim to the depths of Star Wars Galaxies for a few months of virtually uninterrupted gaming.
We'll see.

You could start your own. But you will need to find people who would want to be in it.

Do you know anyone that would make one for you then?

I tried out 'Rebellion in the Stars' for awhile but lost interest. Maybe I just need to join one with a friend. Oh wait, none of my friends play muds...
I think I'll just let the ship sail for now.

I don't think you understand what a MUD is.
