Why? He blew my mind. I have been and AJ! fan for over 5 years, since I first saw him Jeff Cioletti's film "Fandom Menace". That's why I took the pictures of him filming a C2.

Meeting AJ! was a thrill! I think my heart stopped a few times! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/inlove.gif

On a side note: I think that Darth Maul would have made an excellent 5th member of KISS. I wonder if he had any musical talent. Do you think that he would get along with Gene?

Wow, it looks like Maul Stanley hype has kicked into high gear! Awesome! Thanks for the plug, Lou! As for who Maul Stanley is... or who he isn't...

He's not Darth Maul.

He's not Paul Stanley.

But he is the Phantom Menace of the Park and he embodies the worst of both worlds!

Though the so-called Sithchild made his official premiere at Celebration II, Maul Stanley has at last made his online debut via an article at the Metal Sludge website! A photo feature with humorous captions, it documents Maul Stanley's comical encounters at Celebration III. Check it out, and brace yourself for the standard Sludge sarcasm:

Regarding your various feedback...

Darth Star, I've very glad you found the idea so amusing!

BobPalpatine, thanks for noticing my cameo in the Triumph the Insult Comic Dog DVD! Damn that persnickety pooch! He did get the better of me in the clip they featured! But my crew and I also rolled tape on that encounter, and it turned out out somewhat differently than the way in which it was presented on the DVD. With a little luck people will see our version someday... *sigh*

Bluemilk, I'm sorry I creeped you out at Celebration III! Next time I recommend looking away and only gazing upon me in shadow and using a mirror, through gauze.

Blizzard, I am flattered and humbled by your enthusiasm for my wacky endeavors. It was a pleasure meeting you at Celebration III. Thanks for following my admittedly low-profile career and I hope am able to continue providing you with entertainment to your liking.

Oh, and not to worry -- both of my websites went down for a spell yesterday, due to excessive traffic! But I just upped my bandwidth so they should be back online any moment now...

*crossing fingers*

Thanks again for the enthusiasm, everybody! I promise to keep you all informed as Maul Stanley continues to spread his darkness across the galaxy. And remember...

You've got Maul!

For immediate release:

He's not Darth Maul.

He's not Paul Stanley.

But he is the Phantom Menace of the Park and he embodies the worst of both worlds.

Maul Stanley is the unlikely new anti-hero who combines the spirit of the Starchild with the essence of the Sith, spiked with a dash of dark humor. Drawing inspiration from both the Star Wars movies and the rock band Kiss, the so-called Sithchild is a seasoned improvisational entertainer whose knowledge of both is second to none. Coinciding with the release of the sixth and final Star Wars movie "Episode III: Revenge of the Sith," Maul Stanley has at last revealed himself by launching his very own website, MaulStanley.com.

In his debut online adventure, Maul Stanley inflicts his rock & roll
irreverence upon the hapless attendees of Star Wars Celebration III! Encountering all manner of intergalactic oddities, from Stormtroopers to Droids to Wookiees, the mysterious malevolence that is Maul Stanley mixes the dark side of rock & roll with the Dark Side of the Force. No one is safe as he hurls his hard rock humor upon an unsuspecting population, belting out such song parodies as "Maul Hell's Breakin' Loose," "Tossin' & Turnin' to the Dark Side" and "Detroit Rock Sidious."

Recently Maul Stanley received a bit of exposure on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and in the Triumph the Insult Comic Dog DVD. He also appeared in the VH1 special "When STAR WARS Ruled the World." Future plans include a series of Star Wars-themed interviews with hard rock heroes as well as hosting an upcoming Star Wars documentary. Maul Stanley is about to descend upon the realms of both sci-fi and rock & roll in a big way, heralded by the ominous whisper...

"You've got Maul."

Further information about Maul Stanley can be found at his website, which launched this past Friday the 13th.
