Great. Definitely the best episode so far IMHO.

It was nice to have a bit of plot driven dialogue for a change and I love to see lightsabre fighting. The arrival of Darth Sidious was truly splendid and the voice actors are quite good to pick up the sounds of Lee and McDiarmid. Yeah, definitely the most enjoyable episode so far! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif

It was good, except for the parts where they fly, they litterally fly, no jumping, no, they flew. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif

I thought the flying was great! I also liked the bit where Dooku moved an object to block his opponents killer-blade strike. Impressive, most impressive. Wouldn't mind seeing that in Episode III!

That is one example of how powerful Dooku is.

I also loved the scene where Ventress gets her red blades and that she doesn't start out with them until Sidious approves of her.

Listening to the commentary, do I pick up a unintentional hint that Darth Sidious is someone else we know (ie, Palpatine)? He says that the actor who plays Darth Sidious is great or some such comment, and then he adds "especially when he is Darth Sidious." The inference is that he is Darth Sidious and he is also someone else. It's just a hint! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif

Shame we didn't see the handing over of the co-ordinates. Great episode though.

FUN ep Liked the beginiong of the fight when dooku flies but in the heat of combat it was quite over the top. Sidous was great. 1 style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/saber.gif up

What an excellent episode! This rivals Chapter 5 as my favorite. It was great to see some lightsaber action and even better to see Dooku keep his calm during the heat of battle. It really showed the extent of his Force abilities and even made him seem more powerful to not break a sweat during the fight with the Ventress.

I also liked how Dooku found her "Sith" declaration to be ridiculous and even laughed at it. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif I think Dooku might be my favorite character portrayed in the series thus far.

LOVED IT! This show gets better every day.

hmm I don't think it was flying so much as a force push much like when Anakin jumped out of the speederbike on Coruscant and controlled his rate of fall. Jedi seem to be able to control the height of their jumps and their rate of ascent and descent.

exactly! It goes back to the first episode when we're told how much stronger and adept Anakin has grown from serving and fighting in the Clone Wars. I'm sure Ventress is a notch up on the skills ladder of sorts. Once Anakin defeats her, he will grow even more confident and that's exactly what Palpy/Sidious wants.

Asajj seems like a die-hard Sith fanatic who desperately wants to be a Sith. I think Dooku and Sidious are giving her this task to get rid of her. It'll be another good test for Anakin and it'll destroy a possible threat of having another Sith running around.

At first I thought Dooku was planning to use the Ventress against Sidious. But I guess Dooku's more loyal than I thought.

Only problem with Asajj being defeated by Anakin during this point in the series/Clone Wars as a whole is that 1.) they're not supposed to meet Asajj until 5 months after Geonosis and 2.) Asajj is still around after the Battle of Jabiim.

And it's not like it's been her ongoing mission in the comics to harass Anakin; she's mostly been meeting up with Obi-Wan.

Yes the whole thing with her is a big continuity error, her introduction, her mission, the whole lot of it, I'm considerning not including her role in the toons (and maybe not the toons at all) in our battles section at TUCWS.

It just doesn't fit together right.

Dooku is using the whole sepratist thing to destroy Sidous. It can't be spelled out or he will look traitorist and sidous will destroy him.
