View Full Version : "What?" is up with Star Wars?
Though I think this is all just my ears simply playing tricks on me, *in ANH you can hear the Jawa that is talking with Owen say something that sounds like "here comes the window cleaner", talking about the droid with many different 'arms'-- this has been heard and mentioned a lot of places. *But that is not what I've come here to mention. *I could hear once Owen yells "Hey, what are you trying to pull on us?" to that Jawa who responded with 'was' (German for what; pronounced "vaaz")
Also, in ROTJ, I couldn't tell who said it but I could hear in Jabba's Palace someone said "wakarimas" (basically 'what' in Japanese; pronounced as it is spelled in English) as 3PO and R2 are walking over to Jabba.
This I thought was neat, but useless, information. *If anyone else has any comments to say or more whats to put in, please do so.

What? is up with your puncuation
Well, I have just fixed some punctuation errors I made; if there are any more I apologize.
But if you mean with the 'What? is up with Star Wars' part, it's just a pun.

Are? you referring to the placement of the question mark
... I will swear till the day I die that that little Ewok in ROTJ says "jo mama!"

The one from behind, walking away with his hands over his head? It really did sound like that.

that's pretty neat. I'll have to listen for that.
lol. It does sound like the Ewok says "jo mama" though...
I seem to recall something that sounded like that myself. *
BTW: The pun will soon be fixed so that it is more obvious (thanks again Tovor). *And you see, "What?" is a question; "What is up with Star Wars" implies "what is going on with this". *So "What?" is up with Star Wars" seemed to be a creative title to me.

There you go, Kit. *Unfortunately I cannot add italics or bold to title texts, but as it is I think it makes its point well. *Carry on. *style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/music.gif
