I've got a project that I'm working on and I've really wanted to have a nice bit of cover art done.

Basically, I'm taking a bit of fan fiction I wrote and turning it into a audio drama -

One of the things I've always wanted to do was a great piece of cover-type art that would go with the story and audio drama. But, unfortunately, I can't draw very well. Not for what I'd like, anyway.

I have a basic concept of what the artwork would look like, but I was curious if anyone would be interested in helping out. I'm looking for something very stylized, cartoon-like - perhaps reflecting the new Clone Wars style.

I like the concept, but I just don't like using photos and such. I would love a more stylized, animation look for the imagery.

Starwarshistory.org is desperately in need of some artwork for the wiki encyclopedia. We are looking for someone who has some drawing abilities as well as graphical design abilities. Ideally, a graphical designer would be able to use physical media (paper, pencil, watercolors, charcoal, etc...) and also be experienced in digital artwork (Corel Draw, Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, Microangelo, etc...). Experience is not a requirement for working with us, as we like to promote a learning environment, and can give feedback and help to aspiring artists, but someone who understands basic drawing and color theories (usually the average high school student has a pretty good grasp on these) is necessary.

Since starwarshistory.org is a volunteer website (none of the admin here get paid), this is a volunteer position. We can promise that specific works that this person will create will be posted both in the wiki encyclopedia, as well as on the main site. In addition, you will be able to create a "portfolio" on our site, which will be viewable by any future employers to whom you wish to give the address. This position will be part of the website administration team, which means that the graphic design position will receive a personal email address of their choice at starwarshistory.org.

Short description of fan art piece: A female jedi Twi'lek standing.
A female Twi'lek noble dancing.
Another female Twi'lek sitting down watching her.
A small female Twi'lek child leaning against a female Twi'lek dancer.

Characters: Seela Tualin, a sapphire blue skinned Twi'lek with light purple eyes. Ka'sar, a lavender skinned Twi'lek with sky blue eyes.
Sierra'rha, a gold skinned Twi'lek with blue eyes.
Tia Tarkona, a green skinned Twi'lek with dark pink eyes.
Tiara Tarkona, a small green skinned Twi'lek with dark pink eyes.


Detailed description of clothing/accessories: Seela wears a white headdress that has gold beads around the sides and attached to it, is a coral pink veil that flows over her lekku. Seela wears a elegant dance costume (Arabic looking) in purple with a long dark blue cloak that goes down to her ankles. On her feet are pink slip on shoes.

Ka'sar's headdress is blue but at the edges the colour is fading. Ka'sar wears a black catsuit that looks skin tight with matching boots.

Sierra wears the same headress as Lyn Me but in white. She wears a matching bodysuit which is also white and wears white boots.

Tiara wears a simple but glamorous pastel blue dress with no shoes. She wears a black headdress (like Oola's) that has blue rose petals on top of it instead of jewels.

Tia wears a white headdress (like the gella twins) decorated with two fine blue roses at the sides. She wears an glittery indigo dance costume (arabic/bollywood looking) with pointy slip on shoes.

Additional details: Seela has silver tatoos of her native language on her lekku and Ka'sar carries a vibroblade tucked inside her headdress but it's visible enough to see. Sierra holds a purple lightsaber. Tiara's lekku is tatooed in crimson floral chains. Tia has a few scars on her face and on her lekku.

I'm just looking for the background artwork you see on the lego and hasbro toys...you know...the official vader helment looking down, the obi-anakin battle image in the helmet, and the lava shooting up at the bottom. i'm working on some custom cards and wanted to get as good a first gen image to start from. i'm guessing someone has acess to thes files somewhere....i'd appreciate the help.

Well, I'm flexing out my proposed AU fic and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in "bringing my characters to life." I have several of them a few important, some not so much, and I'd also like to get ensignia designs for several military and civilian companies that I might (probably) will use. New snubthrower designs are possible too if anyone likes drawing guassed weaponry, possibly bulpupped. I can go into details, but if commissions aren't allowed, well, I'm out of luck.
