Based on that very crap Force.net image. The solar panels ain't there cause we've been hearing that they'll be removed from the final version most likely. And to be completely honest I could be arsed messing with it any more - it's too difficult to guess what it looks like from the source image.

I wonder what the reason for the design change is, just three years down the road (storywise) from AOTC?

Are there droids on these ships?

There wasn't an R2 unit on the source image that I could see but it was lacking detail. TheForce.net own mock up'll be up tomorrow so we'll see.

Also, people have been commenting on it's TIE style design but neither the solar panels (which I might add later) nor the cockpit look like TIE design. In fact the cockpit resembles the Falcon.

Here&#39;s the one with the panels. Not a big fan of this one though, the panels are too strong a contrast for the rest of the design. Oh well.

The renditions are great but I&#39;m sure the Jedi Fighters have an artoo unit attached (there was a close-up of the copper-coloured R2 unit on or beside the ship on Hypersapce a few months ago).

love everything except the lens flare on the window.. I hate lens flare, and there are two of them lol. But Such an excellent image &#33;&#33;&#33;

I think the design is a little too busy - the first one&#39;s simplicity makes for a more elegant fighter, plus it&#39;s a perfect pre-cursor for both the Fighter and the Interceptor
