Basic, fun, exactly what it says it is. The illustrated scripts are fun too. It is very cool to read where the movie started as opposed to where it ended up.

This used to be Starkiller.com before moving to SWZ right?

no - it was never at a domain name.

This is a very cool site, and it proves a lot of things about Lucas's original intent for things, especially regarding Luke and Darth Vader.

Excellent site - I was thrilled to discover it a few months back.

this site is fantasic style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif one of those hidden gems on the internet. Any true Star Wars fan that wants to get to the heart of Star Wars...the beginning, need to read this site. My favourite!

What would be really cool is if Lucas would allow all his original notes and screenplays to be published in a book.

^ if you read through the scripts there's some editorial notes from the author who transcribed them - some of it was illegible and had hand written notes which couldn't be translated.

I wish the site navigation was better though but it's still my #1 favourite star wars site. I dunno, it's special somehow.

I designed it rather hastily but I think the navigation is pretty simple.

I believe the Quote in "The Development Of Star Wars: A New Hope
by Brendon Wahlberg" saying

"the story of Mace Windu, a revered Jedi-bendu of Ophuchi who was related to Usby C. J. Thape, a padawaan leader to the famed Jedi." is a miss quote.
It should read "...as was related to us "BY" C.J. Thape". I have seen this misquoted before. I think this is the Whills(?) saying who told this to them.

Hi

Im looking for the actual scripts for the first five starwars films, Id like copies of the actual ones used in the films, as I see the one on Starwarz.com is the 4th draft and slightly different to the one in the film....

Any ideas?

It's slightly different because it's the shooting script. Even way back in 1976, Lucas changed lines of dialogue and stuff during and after filming!

Cheers Dude, I was just wondering if the ones actually used in the films have been documented, whether it was before filming or years after.

Hey, when do we get the next Starkiller update? It only has scripts for 2/3rds of the films!
