That's the time and place for Dragon*Con 2003's Fan Audio panel, featuring Pam Kinney and Linda Lyons of Rise of Nobility, Michael Smith of RON, 2S, and other projects, and myself, with possible appearance by Chris Hanel, and a video appearance by Keith Abbott.

If you're in the area, drop by.

So how was it?

I'll be doing a write-up for Fanworks, but it went pretty well. For a 10:00 a.m. panel on a Sunday morning, we had a decent audience (though only half or a quarter of the fan film audience size at 7:00 p.m.). The final panel ended up being Pamela Kinney, Linda Lyons, Michael Smith, and Shawn Johnston, all from Rise of Nobility, and then me, with it all being filmed by Bill Kinney. Chris missed out.

We recorded it all, so when Michael gets back to England, he'll be starting to digitize the footage and get it into viewable MOV files with Sorenson Squeeze.

Apparently the people who were there, almost all of whom were not people who had any knowledge of fan audio when they arrived, were pretty interested. The CDs were snatched up pretty quickly.

All in all, a really cool day, but I am glad that I only did a one-day pass. I'd go nuts with so many people every day.

I lost track of the days. Didn't realize Dragon*Con was on the same weekend of my anniversary. Too bad I missed out.

There's always next year. Fan Audio ain't goin' away. I"m going to be checking with Kathy as we get further along to see what goes into setting up a panel for 2004.
