View Full Version : Tovor's Survey Discussion Thread

In previous surveys, people liked to comment on and talk about what others answered to the surveys, and that always made the threads too long and distracted from the actual message answers. So this thread is for people to talk about each other's answers, ask questions, make comments, or whatever.

Note: If you are a new member of the forum, please read the "Tovor's Probing Questions" threads first before this one. Thanks.

I wanted to say "Thanks" Tov for doing this survey... it's a great idea! *I've learned alot about people I've posted with on this board I didn't know. *Many of you who posted on these boards back in '99 knew each other, but since I didn't come here until '01, I was a little behind on some of the peeps around here. *I'm sure the "newbies" will appreciate it too. *style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif

You're welcome Cat. *I was glad to do it, and the reason you stated was the reason I went ahead with it. *But also thank, along with me, Zachaa for suggesting a new survey and reminding me of the old ones, and Blizzard who had the previous surveys saved and sent them to me (and Darthlara who last night urged me to get off my duff and finally answer my own survey). *

Unlike the previous 2nd, 3rd, and 4th surveys I wrote, this one was set up not to discuss philosphy and ideas and answer my corny jokes and hypothetical and spiritual and moral questions, but more for people to tell as much about themselves as they could without a therapist's couch. *To be honest I myself have not yet read the majority of answers to the new survey, but now that I've answered it myself and don't have my answers on my mind I will read what everybody else wrote. *And that's something I'm actually looking forward to.

You are welcome, Tovey.

And ignore my survey, I was feeling crappy and it's very pessimistic. I could edit it, but it wouldn't matter because people only read them once, if at all. * style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/eh.gif

Blizzee, pessimistic is an understatement! *style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif

Hey, are you gonna start another trivia trials here?

Not on your life. I proclaim Kafer the trivia mistress now! *

Blizzee my friend, be optimistic like the olden days. *People do read the surveys more than once, I used to with the old surveys. *And regarding the "if at all", I hope people read them so my thread would have purpose. *I have to read the responses and yours mainly now, but please be more optimistic and let your words shine! =) *Smile and be happy mon! Hakuna matata!

Yeah I really liked it - it made you think about yourself and I enjoyed learning new things about old friends and meeting new ones!!

Nice idea Tover. I usually have stayed away from threads that got personal while over at Jedinet's Council, but I really got into that survey, and perhaps learned some things not only about others, but myself as well. Once again, bravo Tover.

Just call it therapy then. The doctor is in, five cents please.

And boy, if I had five cents for every time somebody spelled my name Tover instead of Tovor, I'd have about a dollar by now!

*bump* This was for comments and stuff, to keep from cluttering up the survey thread.

Just a thought, but if the survey itself is now pinned, do you think we could put some kind of message on the survey thread to post comments and questions here?(Maybe theres one there already and I just missed it) Or just pin this one too, but it might start to get cluttered.

Okeday, I put a link to this topic in Tovor's first post in the survey thread.

Good work, Tovor! *Your survery was very interesting to fill out and to read what everyone else had to say. *Thanks! *style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif

You're welcome. *I am now getting around to assembling the Survey Part 2 which I'll probably post in about a week or so. *I did about 4 or 5 Tovor Surveys in the older forum so I still have the old questions plus new ones to put in. *Maybe I will make a new survey every month or so, giving as many people as possible the time to have fun with each before starting a newer one.

Bump...

I've done Surveys 1 and 2. I would do 3 but it the questions look complicated and it's late at night, and my brain's a bit tired style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sleeping.gif
I'll try it tomorrow style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif

Good answers, Goody. Though I was surprised by #16. I guess I don't understand homosexuality as I thought I did. Or else there's just more to it than I thought.

I did number 1, cause my computer is broke, and I need to take time to do # 2 and 3, but I promise I'll do them ASAP. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blush.gif

Quoted post

I did number 1 before, and then I had a soda and had to do number 1 again. You had better take time to do number 2, before it's too late. What's a number 3 though? style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/scratchchin.gif
