24) If you could live out your life in peace and harmony in a sci-fi/fantasy setting of your choosing, from what film, TV show, or book would it be, and what is the location?

25) If you could go back through time and distance and witness, as a passive observer safe from any dangers at that location, a conflict or event from the past, what would you like to see with your own eyes?

26) Through a message from God, you learn that you will die quickly and painlessly after 4 days, but God has spoken to you and you are at peace with it. *You are given the divine ability, before you die at the end of 4 days, to accomplish and/or experience 4 incredible and otherwise difficult or impossible things over 4 days, and you will not be slowed or affected by hunger, thirst, or need of sleep during that time . *The answers cannot include speaking with dead relatives or seeing into a loved-one's future. *I did say divine, so anything is possible other than outwitting the 4 day limit, although the Earth days could be extended by a few hours for each (but Mercurian, Venesian, and Plutonian days cannot be used). *Heck, you could even be a chicken for a day, if you wanted to be able to lay an egg. *So, what do you chose to do, be, or experience?

Tovor's Survey Part II

Tis not for my knowledge that asked these questions are, but for your own contemplation and entertainment by answering. If they draw on your thoughts and lead you to become a deeper thinker and enlightened person in the process, my efforts have paid off. On the other hand, if you think the queries ridiculous and get nothing out of them, then it's only a stupid survey on a Star Wars message board, what did you expect? =) Some are deep, some are shallow, some are lame, and some are perhaps disturbing. You have been warned. Turn back now or forge ahead, but do not hold me responsible for any fits of disgust, gagging, flatulence, or sheer boredom you may experience from the following questions:

1) Who do you see as the person or group who has made the greatest contributions to mankind in the 20th century?

The greatest contributions to mankind in the 20th century?

There's too many to list here.

Martin Luther King Jr., Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, George Lucas, Jack Kerouac, etc.

2) What do you think is the ultimate collective goal of mankind? Is it domination and control, discovery and understanding, knowledge and betterment, or something other? What is our society striving towards?

Society is striving towards being a large group of brainless followers who will untimately no longer be themselves. Sheep.

Those who prefer individualism are sometimes forgetting about, shunned, or lost.

Society makes people want to have things, want to be things, want to be other people. The entire social structure is built on monetary wishes and sinister goals.

However, all personal opinions aside, I would have to go with discovery. People always want something new. And of course that takes money and goals - lol.

3) What invention of the 20th century do you feel affected and moved society forward the most for better or worse?
A- The automobile
B- The airplane
C- The computer
D- Television and/or movies
E- The harnessing of nuclear energy

Worst = Nuclear Energy
Best = Computer

4) This is a two-parter, but do not read the second question until you've answered the first.
#1: Say that a brand new form of transportation was invented that would bring our world closer together by cutting traveling time by two thirds. However, this new transportation, this new invention, comes at a steep price, which is that it will cost thousands upon thousands of lives each year. Would you support this invention and agree with its use by those who could be killed by its misuse?

If the people that are killed are f**king morons then I'd go for it. Let me handpick the thousands of people (starting with terrorists, then moving along to criminals), and i'd say go for it.

If it kills people who are innocents - nope. No way.

#2: Say that you can travel back in time to right a dreadful invention of the past. With the first part of this question in mind, would you stop the automobile from being invented?

Nope. I'd stop the invention of the gun.

5) In the Star Wars galaxy, what do you feel is the most beneficial technology used by the societies we've seen in the films?

Most beneficial technology from Star Wars movies? Probably the use of energy and organics by the Gungans.

Second choice? The hyperdrive.

6) A- The evolutionists claim that the universe was created by an immense cloud of compressed gas that reacted and exploded to form galaxies. If that were true, where did the cloud of gas come from?

Who cares? We're here aren't we?

The gas just happened, and the explosion just happened. Forget it.

B- The creationists believe that God created the universe from nothing. So where did God come from? (Short answer only please. Go to the thread "In The Light" to express more.)

I'm sorry, not to offend anyone, but God does not exist. God, in my opinion, was created by a very talented individual with a very active imagination who was an excellent storyteller.

7) With as serious an answer as possible, if you could be any person in the world for one week to experience an aspect of their life, at any given time in history or the present, who would it be and why (not friends or loved ones)?

There's tons of people I would want to use for this. One of them would be Marcus Aurelius, the ruler of the Roman Empire from 161 AD to 180 AD.

Another that I would consider being would be Jimmy Hendrix before Woodstock, a participant in the Boston Tea Party, Neil Armstrong stepping on the moon for the first time, and I'd definitely want to be George Lucas when he began writing Episode I so that I could change it.

8) If you could alter your memory so as to mail yourself a gift and receive it as a complete surprise, what would it be?

If I didn't have to pay for it? A complete set of every single record from 1970 until 1990 from my favorite bands and their influences. All on vinyl.

I would also buy myself a four week vacation to Las Vegas, Ireland, Italy, Cancun and Japan, and make sure that all the items were correctly booked, including airfare for myself, T'bone & Mrs. T, Vader & Mrs. V, and my other friends around here. Then I'd hire babysitters for all the kids.

If I had to pay for it? I'd mail myself a $50 check in an envelope (inside it's package) that had T's mailing address on it so that I could send it to him.

Now the disturbing ones:
9) An evil, sadistic villain is going to kill you. There is no way to escape. You are being pushed forward by an unstoppable wall toward three holes in the floor that you cannot get past or jump over. One hole leads to a blazing furnace. The second hole leads to a pool of boiling water. The third hole leads to a pit of hydrochloric acid. You will, without a doubt, be pushed into one of the holes, and there are only thirty seconds before the edge. Which hole will you let yourself fall into?

Acid.

10) The evil sadistic villain changed his mind at the last moment and forced you into another room instead, where you are pushed by a moving wall toward five holes that you cannot get past or jump over. Each hole contains either a hungry lion, a "Jurassic Park" velociraptor, a Rancor, a pool of water with a school of piranha, and another pool with a great white shark; Your only hope is to choose the least agonizing experience, so do you choose the lion, the shark, the piranha, the Arachnid, or the Raptor?

Least agonizing? I'd choose the lion. I bet that Lion tastes like chicken.

11) The evil sadistic villain changed his mind again, but for the last time. You are now in the last room with the worst choice to make. You are put in the room with a loved one as well as a perfect stranger, and the villain hands you a gun with just one bullet. With the reminder of the agonizing options of questions 9 and 10 awaiting you if you do not go forward, you are told that you must either shoot your loved one, shoot the stranger, or shoot yourself. You have no choice, you must fire at someone. Who will you shoot?

Shoot the bloody stranger.

Take a deep breath. It's time to have fun again:
12) Lets make believe that you find a genie in a bottle, who grants you three wishes. Not world peace, or an end to poverty, or health for yourself and family, but three things of pleasure for yourself. What will you wish for?

Three things of pleasure for myself?

I'd had the genie pay off my student loan (doesn't classify as poverty)

I'd have the genie get me the records I requested above (see the crazy gift question)

I'd have the genie get my butt three more wishes because you forgot to cancel that out as well.

With my three new wishes I'd do away with one pain in the arse website.

I'd wish for whatever car I liked at the moment.

Then I'd ask for three more wishes (wash, rinse, repeat style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif)

13) Name one silly secret about yourself that you would only admit here due to the anonymity of the net.

No way buddy - I'm not anonymous here.

14) Describe the funniest thing that happened to you, or involved you, in relation to a Star Wars experience.

I was interviewed by Playboy for Episode I.

15) Please keep this G rated...What do you think are the most attractive non-sexual parts of the opposite sex's bodies?

Eyes.

16) Hanging over the side of a yacht is a ladder with 22 rungs, each one a foot and a half apart. 19 rungs are above the water at low tide. High tide will bring the water level two and three quarter feet higher. At high tide how many rungs will be above the water?

You'd only lose one - because you didn't go the full 3 feet. So it would go to 18 rungs, almost hitting the 17th.

17) Why is the sky blue?

Control+C, Control+V:

You may already know that sunlight is made up of all the colors of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet. You probably also know that sunlight has to pass through our atmosphere before it reaches our eyes. The gas molecules in the atmosphere break up, or "scatter," the sunlight into its many parts. But they scatter some parts more effectively than others.

Different colors of light have different energies, or wavelengths. Red light has a long wavelength and a lower energy; blue light has a short wavelength and a higher energy. The gas molecules in the atmosphere scatter the higher-energy blue wavelengths better than the red wavelengths. So the sky looks blue.

This also explains the brilliant colors of the sunset. Sunlight at dusk or dawn has to travel through an especially thick layer of atmosphere before it reaches your eyes (it's at an angle). As a result, even more higher-energy light is scattered, leaving those beautiful reds, yellows, and oranges.

18) Don't you hate when people blow their noses while you're eating?

Nope, never happens.

19) Is there something in your life that you regret not finishing, or attempting?

Yes. I regret not finishing my full pint of Guinness the other night before we had to leave the pub.

There's plenty of more serious things, but we won't go there.

20) Complete the following phrase: "Listen, your worship-fullness, I've been from one side of the galaxy to the other, and until I met you, I..."

Never said such a cheesy line.

21) Aside from physical pain or the death of a loved one, what draws out your emotions and brings on the tears, in life, the world, or movies?

Cool death scenes, or immense sadness. Other than that? Too much smoke in the bar.

22) When you were a child, what, if any, film or television characters did you have a crush on?

When I was a child? Hmmmm....

Daisy Duke - LOFL!

23) Do you think that other posters see in your messages a real indication of your actual personality, an extension of it, an alternate identity or alter ego, or an aspect of who you wish you really were?

I think that other posters usually don't give a rat's arse about what people think because they view the threads and never reply.

24) If you could live out your life in peace and harmony in a sci-fi/fantasy setting of your choosing, from what film, TV show, or book would it be, and what is it?

Isn't that redundant?

Peace and harmony? That wouldn't make things much fun - so you'd have to cut out any film, book, or tv show that has characters and events based around violence. Things would probably be really boring.

25) If you could go back through time and distance and witness, as a passive observer safe from any dangers at that location, a conflict or event from the past, what would you like to see with your own eyes?

I would like to see Hitler shoot himself.

I would like to see the Wright Brothers fly.

I would like to see Carrie Fisher being duct taped during the filming of the sequences which had her running through the Death Star.

I would like to see my own birth.

I would like to see Langston Hughes read his poetry or sing the blues.

I'd like to see Jack Kerouac drunk off his ass.

I'd like to see Jim Morrison talk about the Lizard King.

I'd like to see Bill Gates screw over Steve Jobs.

26) Through a message from God, you learn that you will die quickly and painlessly after 4 days, but God has spoken to you and you are at peace with it. You are given the divine ability, before you die at the end of 4 days, to accomplish and/or experience 4 incredible and otherwise difficult or impossible things over 4 days, and you will not be slowed or affected by hunger, thirst, or need of sleep during that time . The answers cannot include speaking with dead relatives or seeing into a loved-one's future. I did say divine, so anything is possible other than outwitting the 4 day limit, although the Earth days could be extended by a few hours for each (but Mercurian, Venesian, and Plutonian days cannot be used). Heck, you could even be a chicken for a day, if you wanted to be able to lay an egg. So, what do you chose to do, be, or experience?

1. I would perform mitosis on my person - splitting myself into and having an almost exact dupicate.
2. I would go crap on Osama Bin Laden's head while he was sleeping, then castrate him, let every American urinate on him, then shove three airplanes up his anus.
3. I would change the law so that every murderer would die the same death that he/she/it dealt on its victim.
4. I would have a giant 4 day party - invite everyone I ever knew, regardless of whether or not I liked them. And basically party until I dropped dead.

None of those things matter however, as there is no all powerful diety in existence.

Good questions.

1) Who do you see as the person or group who has made the greatest contributions to mankind in the 20th century?

I would have to agree with Bendu. Although I don't think Hitler was evil.

I also agree with Prequels, in that there is a long list of contributors.

2) What do you think is the ultimate collective goal of mankind? Is it domination and control, discovery and understanding, knowledge and betterment, or something other? What is our society striving towards?

I would have to say discovery, knowledge, and understanding. I'm not a religious person, but I do believe there is a higher purpose for living.

3) What invention of the 20th century do you feel affected and moved society forward the most for better or worse?

Without a doubt, the computer. In times of desperate need we can always turn to... the computer.

#2: Say that you can travel back in time to right a dreadful invention of the past. With the first part of this question in mind, would you stop the automobile from being invented?

#1 - No, I would not support that at all. There would have to some other way to cut travel time.

#2 - I'd say no.

5) In the Star Wars galaxy, what do you feel is the most beneficial technology used by the societies we've seen in the films?

The audacity of surgical and life-support systems.

6) A- The evolutionists claim that the universe was created by an immense cloud of compressed gas that reacted and exploded to form galaxies. If that were true, where did the cloud of gas come from?
* B- The creationists believe that God created the universe from nothing. So where did God come from? (Short answer only please. Go to the thread "In The Light" to express more.)

A - There have been two main views regarding the origin of the planets in our solar system. The first is that another star happened to pass near our sun, and drew off clouds of gases which then formed themselves into planets. This is the planetesimal group of theories. Astronomers are well aware of the fact that stars do not wander around through space, but that is how the theory went...

The other main viewpoint is that a swirling cloud of gas formed itself into our sun, planets, moons, comets, and asteroids. By 1940, all the various encounter or planetesimal theories had pretty much been discarded as hopeless, but, beginning in that decade, under the urging of von Weizsacker, Whipple, Spitzer, Urey, Garnow, Hoyle, Kuiper, and others, an attempt has been made to bring astronomers back to some variation of the nebular (gas cloud) hypothesis. Their efforts have been surprisingly successful, in spite of the obvious physical principle that gas in outer space (as well as here on earth) never coagulates; it always spreads outward.

B - We can only partially comprehend the notion of God's existence. Apparently, "He always was".

7) With as serious an answer as possible, if you could be any person in the world for one week to experience an aspect of their life, at any given time in history or the present, who would it be and why (not friends or loved ones)?

I wouldn't mind to see the world through the President's eyes for a week.

8) If you could alter your memory so as to mail yourself a gift and receive it as a complete surprise, what would it be?

A photo of my family and friends.

The boiling water. There is a possibility I would only become scalded. I think I woulld be able to live through that.

The Rancor; I'd be down in one bite.

Ooh, this is a toughy. I would shoot myself. I couldn't live with the fact that I'd shot my loved one or someone I didn't even know.

12) Lets make believe that you find a genie in a bottle, who grants you three wishes. Not world peace, or an end to poverty, or health for yourself and family, but three things of pleasure for yourself. What will you wish for?

A new home entertainment system, a new computer, and a ham sandwich.

13) Name one silly secret about yourself that you would only admit here due to the anonymity of the net.

Eh, let's see... I had a crush on my fourth grade teacher.

15) Please keep this G rated...What do you think are the most attractive non-sexual parts of the opposite sex's bodies?

The face.

16) Hanging over the side of a yacht is a ladder with 22 rungs, each one a foot and a half apart. *19 rungs are above the water at low tide. High tide will bring the water level two and three quarter feet higher. At high tide how many rungs will be above the water?

Nineteen.

17) Why is the sky blue?

In short, blue light becomes scattered around much more than all the colors from the sun, causing the sky to appear blue.

18) Don't you hate when people blow their noses while you're eating?

LOL. You know, it's never come up before.

19) Is there something in your life that you regret not finishing, or attempting?

I could've gone scuba diving in Florida a few years ago. Unfortunately, I had just seen 'Jaws'. Perhaps I can try some other time if I ever get a chance.

20) Complete the following phrase: "Listen, your worship-fullness, I've been from one side of the galaxy to the other, and until I met you, I..."

"... thought a nag was just a horse."

21) Aside from physical pain or the death of a loved one, what draws out your emotions and brings on the tears, in life, the world, or movies?

The realization that all hope is lost.

22) When you were a child, what, if any, film or television characters did you have a crush on?

I thought Jessica Rabbit from 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?' was pretty "cute". *style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif

23) Do you think that other posters see in your messages a real indication of your actual personality, an extension of it, an alternate identity or alter ego, or an aspect of who you wish you really were?

Perhaps an extension, as well as my actual personality. In any case, I hope I don't come off as a jerk.

24) If you could live out your life in peace and harmony in a sci-fi/fantasy setting of your choosing, from what film, TV show, or book would it be, and what is it?

It's not any of the things listed as a book, movie, or television program. It is, however, fantasy. I would like to live in the world of 'Zelda'. Much like Star Wars, the games have always held my interest.

25) If you could go back through time and distance and witness, as a passive observer safe from any dangers at that location, a conflict or event from the past, what would you like to see with your own eyes?

The invasion of Normandy, D-Day. I'm somewhat of a WWII enthusiast. I play an on-line WWII-based game and I am in a clan. Here's our website - Wehrmacht (http://erf2.clanpages.com/we/).

I suggest you read the Information page before you make any assumptions. There have been problems in the past with that...

As I said before, I'm not a religious person, but what the heck...

Day 1) I would like to experience true, unbridled happiness. Sure, I'm happy with my life now, but I have been told true happiness is acquired through time.

Day 2) Have the ability to fly.

Day 3) Live as a fish.

Day 4) Be the President.

1) Who do you see as the person or group who has made the greatest contributions to mankind in the 20th century?

Hmm, I'm going to generalize here(please don't hurt me for doing so), but I'm going with scientists, definantly.

2) What do you think is the ultimate collective goal of mankind? Is it domination and control, discovery and understanding, knowledge and betterment, or something other? What is our society striving towards?

Control and domination. *Mankind in general has an urge to change, manipulate, or control everything around them. I believe our society strives to make itself "better", but I believe in doing so we tend to loose sight on certain things

3) What invention of the 20th century do you feel affected and moved society forward the most for better or worse?

Personally I feel it's the computer. I feel that we would still be years away from where we are now without it's use and discovery. I realize were still fledgings now in the science of computers, but we've done so much considering how much we know.

I don't see a reason not to support it. *It's more of a "use at your own risk" sort of thing. *Obviously your if willing to use it, then your ready to take the risk. Think of all the great things we can do with decreased transport time; I imagine trade among all nations would really increase. However forcing people to use an unsafe mode of transport is a bit far.

#2: Say that you can travel back in time to right a dreadful invention of the past. With the first part of this question in mind, would you stop the automobile from being invented?

No not all. I would not prevent the automobile from being invented. I feel if it had not been invented an equally harmful mode of transportation would have been invented. Preventing it's discovery is just delaying the inevitable and delaying the progress of humanity.

5) In the Star Wars galaxy, what do you feel is the most beneficial technology used by the societies we've seen in the films?

Ohh definantly the cloning. I think it's a great technology and I'm saddened that so many people in our modern society are so against it. *With cloning, we can recreate the great minds of the past or bring back loved ones as new people, sounds tempting to me.

I dislike this question, moving on. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/censored.gif

7) With as serious an answer as possible, if you could be any person in the world for one week to experience an aspect of their life, at any given time in history or the present, who would it be and why (not friends or loved ones)?

I'm not entirely sure about this question. *I'm really not very interested in the lives that other people live. But I'm more so interested in how the lives of others affect my own. I'm a "here and now" sort of person. *shrug* Maybe that makes me shallow or something.

8) If you could alter your memory so as to mail yourself a gift and receive it as a complete surprise, what would it be?

Nothing. I would send an empty box to remind myself that the things I want arn't free. *Sort of like encouragement that I need to start working harder towards my goals.

*Now the disturbing ones:
9) An evil, sadistic villain is going to kill you. There is no way to escape. You are being pushed forward by an unstoppable wall toward three holes in the floor that you cannot get past or jump over. One hole leads to a blazing furnace. The second hole leads to a pool of boiling water. The third hole leads to a pit of hydrochloric acid. You will, without a doubt, be pushed into one of the holes, and there are only thirty seconds before the edge. Which hole will you let yourself fall into?

I'll pick flame. *All of them sound rather drawn out deaths, but I think the fire would be the quickest one of all, although painful.

I'll pick the Rancor, at least it has the decency to kill you quickly. You know, biting you in half and all that...

I'd shoot the stranger. *I'm sorry if this answer comes out cruel, but personally I want to live, so would not should my self. Also, as I said before, I'm more interested in how people affect my life, therefore the stranger is the logical choice. I don't know them and their death would have the smallest effect on my life.

*Take a deep breath. It's time to have fun again:
12) Lets make believe that you find a genie in a bottle, who grants you three wishes. Not world peace, or an end to poverty, or health for yourself and family, but three things of pleasure for yourself. What will you wish for?

First, I'd wish to be enrolled in a wonderful college which specializes in the field of my choice. Second, a new ludicrously powerful computer. *Third, a violin and some lessons.

13) Name one silly secret about yourself that you would only admit here due to the anonymity of the net.

Hmm well, to be honest I don't think I have any "silly" secrets. *I'm pretty bland as it is.

14) Describe the funniest thing that happened to you, or involved you, in relation to a Star Wars experience.

Nothing. *I am one of the few Star Wars fans in my area, which means not much I do revolves around Star Wars, even though I'd like it to. *But I haven't had any funny things happen yet involving Star Wars.

15) Please keep this G rated...What do you think are the most attractive non-sexual parts of the opposite sex's bodies?

Eyes, definantly the eyes...

16) Hanging over the side of a yacht is a ladder with 22 rungs, each one a foot and a half apart. *19 rungs are above the water at low tide. High tide will bring the water level two and three quarter feet higher. At high tide how many rungs will be above the water?

Nineteen because the boats floats constantly above the water, therefore generally the amount of rungs above water does not change. Unless for some reason the boat is sinking?

17) Why is the sky blue?

The sky is blue because of scattered light waves. Generally when light reaches Earth, it passes through the atmosphere. *Orange, yellow, and red light passes through without much problem. However, blue light is cought up in the gas molocules of our atmosphere, then it gets scattered all about. Which means no matter where you look, the sky is blue because of the molecules being scattered... Neato

18) Don't you hate when people blow their noses while you're eating?

I have yet to have this happen, but imagine I wouldn't enjoy it. *Unless this is some kind of in joke question. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hmmm.gif

19) Is there something in your life that you regret not finishing, or attempting?

Yes, I regret not finishing high schools honor's program, not taking the AP tests, not getting my black belt in Eae Kwon Do, not starting up the violin when I had the chance, losing my chance to play the piano, and not joining chorus.(short list)

20) Complete the following phrase: "Listen, your worship-fullness, I've been from one side of the galaxy to the other, and until I met you, I..."

"...hadn't realized how much I'd give to have a position as prestigious as yours."

21) Aside from physical pain or the death of a loved one, what draws out your emotions and brings on the tears, in life, the world, or movies?

When things don't go my way. *Tears, however, I can't think of the last time I had the urge to cry.

22) When you were a child, what, if any, film or television characters did you have a crush on?

No one

23) Do you think that other posters see in your messages a real indication of your actual personality, an extension of it, an alternate identity or alter ego, or an aspect of who you wish you really were?

I believe they see my actual persona, as opposed the facade I'm forced to put up in real life. *I realize the internet is notorious for being ambigous, but here, on this forum, I act myself. Whether or not I come off as a jerk, sarcastic, whatever; fine by me, at least I can be me.

24) If you could live out your life in peace and harmony in a sci-fi/fantasy setting of your choosing, from what film, TV show, or book would it be, and what is it?

No way; I like conflict, strife, turmoil. Living my life out in "peace" no matter where I am is a horrible thought. How dull.

25) If you could go back through time and distance and witness, as a passive observer safe from any dangers at that location, a conflict or event from the past, what would you like to see with your own eyes?

The construction of the Egyptian Pyramids.

Skipping this one too.

1) Who do you see as the person or group who has made the greatest contributions to mankind in the 20th century?

The Salvation Army, of which I am a part of. It is also my religion. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif

2) What do you think is the ultimate collective goal of mankind? Is it domination and control, discovery and understanding, knowledge and betterment, or something other? What is our society striving towards?

Doomsday.

3) What invention of the 20th century do you feel affected and moved society forward the most for better or worse?
A- The automobile
B- The airplane
C- The computer
D- Television and/or movies
E- The harnessing of nuclear energy

Each and every one.

Life is more important then anything else in the galaxy. Without life, then whats the point in transportation? Who will it transport?

#2: Say that you can travel back in time to right a dreadful invention of the past. With the first part of this question in mind, would you stop the automobile from being invented?

No. I would simply stop the first petrol/diesal driven automobile. Stick with the steam, I recon.

5) In the Star Wars galaxy, what do you feel is the most beneficial technology used by the societies we've seen in the films?

Bacta

6) A- The evolutionists claim that the universe was created by an immense cloud of compressed gas that reacted and exploded to form galaxies. If that were true, where did the cloud of gas come from?

Gravitational buildup.

B- The creationists believe that God created the universe from nothing. So where did God come from? (Short answer only please. Go to the thread "In The Light" to express more.)

Another galaxy???

7) With as serious an answer as possible, if you could be any person in the world for one week to experience an aspect of their life, at any given time in history or the present, who would it be and why (not friends or loved ones)?

I'm not sure. I'd have to say Jane Austen.

8) If you could alter your memory so as to mail yourself a gift and receive it as a complete surprise, what would it be?

The fact that I'd end up falling in love with my best friend!!!

The acid. I hate water. I may like fire, but acid would be more interesting.

Rancor. Its quicker. And its Star Wars.

11) The evil sadistic villain changed his mind again, but for the last time. You are now in the last room with the worst choice to make. You are put in the room with a loved one as well as a perfect stranger, and the villain hands you a gun with just one bullet. You have no choice, you must fire at someone. Who will you shoot?

Myself. I could never shoot a loved one, nor an innocent.

Take a deep breath. It's time to have fun again:
12) Lets make believe that you find a genie in a bottle, who grants you three wishes. Not world peace, or an end to poverty, or health for yourself and family, but three things of pleasure for yourself. What will you wish for?

1. A way to convince Radomhouse to publish my Star Wars novels.

2. For my family to win the lottery so they can have fun and not worry about finacial difficulties for once.

3. To marry the one who I love the most.

13) Name one silly secret about yourself that you would only admit here due to the anonymity of the net.

I think I'm really a Dathomiri!!!

14) Describe the funniest thing that happened to you, or involved you, in relation to a Star Wars experience.

I have no idea...

15) Please keep this G rated...What do you think are the most attractive non-sexual parts of the opposite sex's bodies?

The eyes. They are the windows to your soul.

16) Hanging over the side of a yacht is a ladder with 22 rungs, each one a foot and a half apart. 19 rungs are above the water at low tide. High tide will bring the water level two and three quarter feet higher. At high tide how many rungs will be above the water?

Have I ever mentioned that I hate math???

17) Why is the sky blue?

Because it didn't want to be green?

18) Don't you hate when people blow their noses while you're eating?

Not really. I do it myself.

19) Is there something in your life that you regret not finishing, or attempting?

Well, I'll kick myself if I don't keep trying to get this book published.

20) Complete the following phrase: "Listen, your worship-fullness, I've been from one side of the galaxy to the other, and until I met you, I..."

...was actually starting to enjoy the traveling.

21) Aside from physical pain or the death of a loved one, what draws out your emotions and brings on the tears, in life, the world, or movies?

Music

22) When you were a child, what, if any, film or television characters did you have a crush on?

TinTin

23) Do you think that other posters see in your messages a real indication of your actual personality, an extension of it, an alternate identity or alter ego, or an aspect of who you wish you really were?

They see who I want to be. In real life, I have no sense of humour, and I'm kinda shy. On the net, I can be who I want to be.

24) If you could live out your life in peace and harmony in a sci-fi/fantasy setting of your choosing, from what film, TV show, or book would it be, and what is the location?

Either Dathomir or Alderaan. I'm not sure which.

25) If you could go back through time and distance and witness, as a passive observer safe from any dangers at that location, a conflict or event from the past, what would you like to see with your own eyes?

The Holocaust.

I want to fly, to be free. To walk a sandy beach on the perfect day with no one around. To feel the power of the universe and be one with it. And simply, to live.

1) Who do you see as the person or group who has made the greatest contributions to mankind in the 20th century?

Hmmmm, a tough one. I'll have to agree with Vyndim and say scientists purely for the changes they have brought with inventions and the quality of life.

2) What do you think is the ultimate collective goal of mankind? Is it domination and control, discovery and understanding, knowledge and betterment, or something other? What is our society striving towards?

Who really knows but i'd go for discovery and understanding.

3) What invention of the 20th century do you feel affected and moved society forward the most for better or worse?
A- The automobile
B- The airplane
C- The computer
D- Television and/or movies
E- The harnessing of nuclear energy

A very tough question. The computers had a great effect, especially in the last 20 years. Technology has changed dramatically with the computer and the internet has been great for co-operation and understanding.

No i wouldn't support this invention.

#2: Say that you can travel back in time to right a dreadful invention of the past. With the first part of this question in mind, would you stop the automobile from being invented?

I wouldn't right a dreadful invention of the past. Hindsight is a great thing and foresight can be misleading. If you gave me the option as above of supporting an invention which would cause harm i would say no but with details about its misuse and possible advantages i would change my mind. Remember the automobile saves thousands of lives each year because of the police, fire departments and paramedics

5) In the Star Wars galaxy, what do you feel is the most beneficial technology used by the societies we've seen in the films?

Droids

6) A- The evolutionists claim that the universe was created by an immense cloud of compressed gas that reacted and exploded to form galaxies. If that were true, where did the cloud of gas come from?
B- The creationists believe that God created the universe from nothing. So where did God come from? (Short answer only please. Go to the thread "In The Light" to express more.)

The cloud of gas came from some fat pigs ass. God came from the aliens. Being serious, no idea really, i'm an ignostic but a fervent supporter of science.

7) With as serious an answer as possible, if you could be any person in the world for one week to experience an aspect of their life, at any given time in history or the present, who would it be and why (not friends or loved ones)?

Churchill - with those grand speeches and ability to rally a nation when it seemed all hope was lost against the Nazi machine. What was he really thinking? Was he really a warmonger? Was he lucky? Did he think he would succeed? Answers on a postcard.

8) If you could alter your memory so as to mail yourself a gift and receive it as a complete surprise, what would it be?

A few million pounds, but if it was something i could afford now it would be a car.

The acid because i think it would kill you quicker and i always wondered in science lessons if the teachers were exaggerating the effects of acid.

Rancor because once again i think it would be the quicker death.

The villain? Well i'd look deep into the stranger's eyes and if they looked dodgy i'd shoot them otherwise i'd shoot myself.

Take a deep breath. It's time to have fun again:
12) Lets make believe that you find a genie in a bottle, who grants you three wishes. Not world peace, or an end to poverty, or health for yourself and family, but three things of pleasure for yourself. What will you wish for?

1. A few billion quid.
2. For every attractive woman in the world to want me.
3. The ability to time travel.

13) Name one silly secret about yourself that you would only admit here due to the anonymity of the net.

I don't have any real secrets. I'm quite an open person really.

14) Describe the funniest thing that happened to you, or involved you, in relation to a Star Wars experience.

Hmmmm, i suppose i was about to start a new job but i had to phone up and postpone it because i was going to TPM first showing. I came out with a crap excuse - i was going to the opticians. I suppose thats the only thing i can think of.

15) Please keep this G rated...What do you think are the most attractive non-sexual parts of the opposite sex's bodies?

I can't think of any non-parts of a woman's body, i would say the face but even that can be sexual.

16) Hanging over the side of a yacht is a ladder with 22 rungs, each one a foot and a half apart. 19 rungs are above the water at low tide. High tide will bring the water level two and three quarter feet higher. At high tide how many rungs will be above the water?

19

17) Why is the sky blue?

Because its the darkness of space diluted by the sun's rays and our atmosphere creating that effect.

18) Don't you hate when people blow their noses while you're eating?

Don't care unless they blow in my direction.

19) Is there something in your life that you regret not finishing, or attempting?

Maybe going after a girl i used to really really like but apart from that my life's a bit trivial as i'm only 19.

20) Complete the following phrase: "Listen, your worship-fullness, I've been from one side of the galaxy to the other, and until I met you, I..."

...was starting to have some strange dreams about this wookie, a sail barge and a slave outfit.

21) Aside from physical pain or the death of a loved one, what draws out your emotions and brings on the tears, in life, the world, or movies?

I only ever cry at funerals or from physical pain. But plenty of other things draw out my emotions; thinking about my parents divorcing when i was a kid, seeing poor people on the streets, seeing my family in emotional pain.

22) When you were a child, what, if any, film or television characters did you have a crush on?

Penny from Inspector Gadget and Daphne from Scooby-Doo

23) Do you think that other posters see in your messages a real indication of your actual personality, an extension of it, an alternate identity or alter ego, or an aspect of who you wish you really were?

Nobody in my life sees my actual personality just aspects of it.

24) If you could live out your life in peace and harmony in a sci-fi/fantasy setting of your choosing, from what film, TV show, or book would it be, and what is the location?

Coruscant - looks like they've got some good bars there. Or maybe Terry Pratchett's Discworld. That looks quite funny.

25) If you could go back through time and distance and witness, as a passive observer safe from any dangers at that location, a conflict or event from the past, what would you like to see with your own eyes?

The end of the dinosaurs - what did really happen and what did they properly look like?

26) Through a message from God, you learn that you will die quickly and painlessly after 4 days, but God has spoken to you and you are at peace with it. You are given the divine ability, before you die at the end of 4 days, to accomplish and/or experience 4 incredible and otherwise difficult or impossible things over 4 days, and you will not be slowed or affected by hunger, thirst, or need of sleep during that time . The answers cannot include speaking with dead relatives or seeing into a loved-one's future. Heck, you could even be a chicken for a day, if you wanted to be able to lay an egg. So, what do you chose to do, be, or experience

1. I would experience being filthy rich and famous.
2. Time travel, but only into the past - am i allowed that one?
3. Finding another civilization in the universe.
4. Have every woman i want.

1) Who do you see as the person or group who has made the greatest contributions to mankind in the 20th century?
Computer nerds!

2) What do you think is the ultimate collective goal of mankind? Is it domination and control, discovery and understanding, knowledge and betterment, or something other? What is our society striving towards?
Survival of the fittest in our short time here. I wish I could be more profound.

3) What invention of the 20th century do you feel affected and moved society forward the most for better or worse?
C - The computer

4) This is a two-parter, but do not read the second question until you've answered the first.

However, this new transportation, this new invention, comes at a steep price, which is that it will cost thousands upon thousands of lives each year. No.

#2: Say that you can travel back in time to right a dreadful invention of the past. With the first part of this question in mind, would you stop the automobile from being invented?
Wow, Tovey! And yet, no.

5) In the Star Wars galaxy, what do you feel is the most beneficial technology used by the societies we've seen in the films?
Hyperspace.

6) A- The evolutionists claim that the universe was created by an immense cloud of compressed gas that reacted and exploded to form galaxies. If that were true, where did the cloud of gas come from?
I don't waste time pondering it.

* B- The creationists believe that God created the universe from nothing. So where did God come from? (Short answer only please. Go to the thread "In The Light" to express more.)
n/a

7) With as serious an answer as possible, if you could be any person in the world for one week to experience an aspect of their life, at any given time in history or the present, who would it be and why (not friends or loved ones)?
Why can't we say loved ones? I really want to go Freaky Friday with my son so he knows how hard it is to go to work every day and deal with the stress of life, and I want to know what it's like to live with diabetes 24/7. *There is no one else I would want to be. I don't want to be famous or well known for anything, nor do I want someone else's stresses and worries to deal with and everyone has them.

8) If you could alter your memory so as to mail yourself a gift and receive it as a complete surprise, what would it be? Anything, I like good surprises. Airline tickets to NYC or Miami or Dallas would be nice. Or a long haired hunk wearing only a tie, even better.

The furnace. I have fears of drowning.

The Lion, he will kill you instantly.

The stranger, as long as it's not a child.

*Take a deep breath. It's time to have fun again:
12) Lets make believe that you find a genie in a bottle, who grants you three wishes. Not world peace, or an end to poverty, or health for yourself and family, but three things of pleasure for yourself. What will you wish for?
Winning lotto numbers. A successful publishing business. A thinner waist.

13) Name one silly secret about yourself that you would only admit here due to the anonymity of the net.
Anonymity? You all know me. Ok, ok, um, I open my action figures and actually PLAY with them.
http://blizzardskies.com/bz/c2/absentees.jpg

14) Describe the funniest thing that happened to you, or involved you, in relation to a Star Wars experience.
When I met David Prowse at Dragon*Con 2001 and told him I worked for T'bone. We were getting our picture taken and Prowse was talking in my ear saying, "Where is he anyway? He's not here. I know why he's not here, it's because I couldn't get him any passes isn't it? That's why he's not here!" Darth Vader was *****ing about T'bone and I was cracking up! * style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hehe.gif

15) Please keep this G rated...What do you think are the most attractive non-sexual parts of the opposite sex's bodies?
Hair! I love men with long gorgeous hair to run my fingers through. *sigh* *

16) Hanging over the side of a yacht is a ladder with 22 rungs, each one a foot and a half apart. *19 rungs are above the water at low tide. High tide will bring the water level two and three quarter feet higher. At high tide how many rungs will be above the water?
19.

17) Why is the sky blue?
Because if it was red the oceans would look like blood. Ew.

18) Don't you hate when people blow their noses while you're eating?
Nope. Now farting while eating, that's bad!

19) Is there something in your life that you regret not finishing, or attempting?
I am lucky, I regret nothing in life.

20) Complete the following phrase: "Listen, your worship-fullness, I've been from one side of the galaxy to the other, and until I met you, I..."
...couldn't get it up!

21) Aside from physical pain or the death of a loved one, what draws out your emotions and brings on the tears, in life, the world, or movies?
I only cry out of happiness. Extreme kindness... rescues (like the miners), giving what you don't have to give (like the end of the movie "It Could Happen to You"), and men hugging and showing emotion. I don't cry for sadness anymore, 30 years of that was enough for any lifetime.

22) When you were a child, what, if any, film or television characters did you have a crush on?
Luke Skywalker! Superman! Rob Lowe! Rudy, the kid in the movie "Meatballs"! And Mick Jagger (still have a crush on him and he turned 59 this week)!!! *

23) Do you think that other posters see in your messages a real indication of your actual personality, an extension of it, an alternate identity or alter ego, or an aspect of who you wish you really were?
Well, it used to be the last one, here I was who I wanted to be in real life. But over the last three years I have become that person in real life, crazy, witty, and outgoing. But here, lately, all you see is a stressed out mod chick. *

24) If you could live out your life in peace and harmony in a sci-fi/fantasy setting of your choosing, from what film, TV show, or book would it be, and what is it?
I'd live on Coruscant. There is no such thing as peace and harmony.

25) If you could go back through time and distance and witness, as a passive observer safe from any dangers at that location, a conflict or event from the past, what would you like to see with your own eyes?
The raising of the Statue of Liberty. Or the surgical birth of my son (Yeah, I know, ewww! ).

26) Through a message from God.... *

1) I see the person that has made the greatest contributions to the 20th century was Albert Einstein. He was the first to think outside what was considered "the truth."

2) I think human society as the whole is striving toward galactic understanding, of God/Allah/Shiva etc., and why we are here.

3) I think the two worst creations are the television, and the use of nuclear energy as a weapon But then again how can you either of these things, TV gives so much, and yet asks so little, and nuclear energy is also leading toward a better planetary ecology.

20) ...in the last three days I've been shot at, almost incinerated, and nearly chopped into fish bait!

21) In a book, when the dog dies saving his boy. :tears:

22) Wonder Woman, from that show that came on right after the Hulk.

23) I hope they see it as an alternate ego, one of several. There is comedic psycho, the Swollen Brain From Beyond Mars, the Hindhu 7-11 Worker, and the British Guy. The last two are character voices that I do very well, if I say so myself.

24) I would live my life happily in every Toho Kaiju film produced between 1954 to 1971.

25) Hiroshima.

26) I'd spend my four days as an eagle, soaring high through the clouds without a care in the world. Sorry, it just something I always wanted to do.

1) Who do you see as the person or group who has made the greatest contributions to mankind in the 20th century?

Whoever invented the wheel. Ingenious.

2) What do you think is the ultimate collective goal of mankind? Is it domination and control, discovery and understanding, knowledge and betterment, or something other? What is our society striving towards?

Good sex.

3) What invention of the 20th century do you feel affected and moved society forward the most for better or worse?
A- The automobile
B- The airplane
C- The computer
D- Television and/or movies
E- The harnessing of nuclear energy

Computer.

No. I stay locked away in my padded room at home mostly.

#2: Say that you can travel back in time to right a dreadful invention of the past. With the first part of this question in mind, would you stop the automobile from being invented?

Nope.

5) In the Star Wars galaxy, what do you feel is the most beneficial technology used by the societies we've seen in the films?

Bionics, baby!!

6) A- The evolutionists claim that the universe was created by an immense cloud of compressed gas that reacted and exploded to form galaxies. If that were true, where did the cloud of gas come from?

That was me...sorry. Darn that Taco Bell!!!

B- The creationists believe that God created the universe from nothing. So where did God come from? (Short answer only please. Go to the thread "In The Light" to express more.)

Don't think too hard. You'll find out eventually when your time is up. For now, just eat, pay taxes, breathe, fool around, etc.

7) With as serious an answer as possible, if you could be any person in the world for one week to experience an aspect of their life, at any given time in history or the present, who would it be and why (not friends or loved ones)?

Pam Anderson, because I want to be a dirty little dirty little girl and know what it's like to have multiple orgasms.

8) If you could alter your memory so as to mail yourself a gift and receive it as a complete surprise, what would it be?

Every last inch of footage ever shot for every star wars film...even Episode III.

The fire - and I'd sing DISCO INFERNO long as I could.

That's easy. The Rancor pit because we all know IT'S JUST A F***ING MOVIE and they don't really exist!!! I WIN!
I guess that goes for CG Raptors too. hehehe

Billy Joel has the answer you seek.

12) Lets make believe that you find a genie in a bottle, who grants you three wishes. Not world peace, or an end to poverty, or health for yourself and family, but three things of pleasure for yourself. What will you wish for?

1. About 7-10 inches more height.
2. Multiple Orgasms for life.
3. See through glasses or "X-ray Specs" that actually work.

13) Name one silly secret about yourself that you would only admit here due to the anonymity of the net.

I secretly wish I had a nice set of boobs so I could play with them all day long.

14) Describe the funniest thing that happened to you, or involved you, in relation to a Star Wars experience.

I had a few funny quotes in some magazines when EP1 was coming out. Look em up.

15) Please keep this G rated...What do you think are the most attractive non-sexual parts of the opposite sex's bodies?

The Armpit. Oh wait...you said NON sexual...

16) Hanging over the side of a yacht is a ladder with 22 rungs, each one a foot and a half apart. 19 rungs are above the water at low tide. High tide will bring the water level two and three quarter feet higher. At high tide how many rungs will be above the water?

I hate math.

17) Why is the sky blue?

God's crayola choice.

22) When you were a child, what, if any, film or television characters did you have a crush on?

Music: Stevie Nicks.

23) Do you think that other posters see in your messages a real indication of your actual personality, an extension of it, an alternate identity or alter ego, or an aspect of who you wish you really were?

Alter Ego (I hope!).

24) If you could live out your life in peace and harmony in a sci-fi/fantasy setting of your choosing, from what film, TV show, or book would it be, and what is the location?

Although I dig Coruscant, I really think Middle Earth is pretty happening.

25) If you could go back through time and distance and witness, as a passive observer safe from any dangers at that location, a conflict or event from the past, what would you like to see with your own eyes?

OJ's house style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif

So, what do you chose to do, be, or experience

1. Level the entire Middle East.
2. Snap my fingers and have any woman (or women) I want in the sack and ready to do the nasty.
3. Check out some real aliens.
4. Be Paul McCartney at every stage of his career whenever I wanted to. Like I could snap my fingers and say - I'm Paul circa 1976 on tour with Wings. No Linda though style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif
