MOVIES: Underworld (SPOILERS)

has anybody seen the new movie under world its about vampires vs.lycans which are wherewolves!its gonna rock!

Yup, Underworld is gonna kick ass. The actors are good, the plot rocks (IMO since I love vamps and werewolfs) and the action looks as good as Matrix almost. I've followed this since pre-production and I can't wait 'till it hits theatres!

The CGI of the werewolves look outstanding. I think this could have the success of Pirates of the Caribbean.

I saw the trailer for underworld last night when I saw Freddy Vs. Jason (enjoyable mind-in-back-pocket slasher fest). Underworld looks awesome, Wesley best watch his daywalker ass! And the werewolf CGI is the best I've ever seen!

I give it 3.5 stars. There was absolutely no chemistry between the vampire chick and the human (Scott Speedman). In Yahoo movies they describe Speedman as a human who wants to stop the war between vampires and lycans..... style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif he didn't have many lines, and he was more like a tool of fate than an active participant.
The special effects and the music were pretty good.

3.5 and you point ou tthe bad things?

This movie was terrible. NO one had more than 20 lines in this movie, and when did a day pass? It was always night time! The gore went out of control in the last 30 minutes, and the Lycans are what...? the good guys? I don't know.

Killer special effects and a rocking soundtrack don't make a bad movie good...
If you're gonna ripoff a good idea and "borrow" a visual style at least make the effort to make the movie GOOD. Maybe I'll rent it, maybe.

The idea was original, the style was unique. The Movie itself had no plot, humor and was just badly acted.

Actually the idea isn't original, it borrows heavily from a Role playing game company and a series of novels written by...(can't remember ladies name), they both have law suits against the producers of Underwere style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif

So it's actually getting a sequel? Hmm. Not too many high expectations. Though, hopefully they can do better than the first. As it was a slight disappointment, IMO. Underworld just left alot to be desired. I was really wanting more from the first one.

I'm kind of hoping Michael will die. LOL. It might add to the story. Someone has to die! Yeah, the first had alot of death. But Seline most likely won't since this is more or less her story. So kill Michael! YAY! lol

I actually enjoyed the first one. I didn't think it would be very good, but was pleasantly suprised. I very well may be inclined to check out the sequel.

That's why he should die. Plus I didn't really like his character in the first. They could've done better. And it's not like he's an important aspect to the story, besides the whole hybrid thing.

That's more reason to kill him though. It really depends on how it's played out. I've got tons of theories on the case of Evolution. But no one really knows how anything's gonna work. So yeah...

Yeah, I thought about that too. Them have a kid and speed up into the future a few years, because Michael and/or Seline die. It would be a very interesting twist, and would actually make for good story, IMO.
