STAR WARS: DREAMSCAPE, the second episode of the audio drama anthology series from Rayzur's Edge Audio (aptly entitled STAR WARS: ANTHOLOGY) was recently released at the beginning of August.

The tale, which won the 2002 TFN Fan Films Scriptwriting Contest (the only such contest in the fan production community to have much exposure), stars Michael Haspil and Matthew Gordon (both previously of SECOND STRIKE). The story focuses on a sort of justification for evil, as a Dark Jedi confronts a Light Jedi sent to bring him in, all within the confines of a shadow realm between conscious thought and the will of the force--the Dreamscape.

Anyone have any thoughts on this one? Seems to have fallen by the wayside since it was first put up well before Fanworks itself opened as its own site.

Awesome, again. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif I can't describe it in words, but the drama was just plain awesome.

Alright, this is very odd.

Dreamscape came out in, what mid-2003? About a year ago? And yet, all of a sudden, Dreamscape just leaped ahead of both CR #15 and ROTO #9 for no apparent reason, by like 50+ downloads this month.

Really, really odd. Anyone have any idea what's up?

The amount of Dreamscape's downloads, apparently.

Someone probably posted the URL to Dreamscape on a highly trafficked website because they liked it.

Maybe it has something to do with the radio thing, Nate. Have they aired any episodes yet?

By the way, just curious, how many people have downloaded NO WAY OUT?

well.. like i have said before. Dreamscape for me was simply the best fan Audio Drama has yet offered. I loved the feel and scope, the acting was incredible. The dialoge was intense and kept your attention. I liked the mix, the direction, and the timing. It did what fan works are supposed too. Take you to a different place, with a different idealology yet be familar enough that you can picture it and not get lost. For the FAAA i literally listened to everything out there (from 2003) at least 3 times. Sometimes to highlight a specific character sometimes to listen for mixing etc. Dreamscape was the one that kept my attention everytime. A must see - or listen or whatever.

True, true. Just strikes me as odd.
