Mara Jade Luke's Demise

Here is the new story that i have been working on this is the first chapter more to come hope you like it.
Epilogue
It takes place two months after the fall of Coruscant the republic was reeling from the massive losses but in this time of chaos arose a hope a force sensitive young man was found.

CHAPTER 1

It starts on a bright morning on a luscious planet rich with life standing out on the patio stood a guy he was 6' tall, brown hair, and blue eyes he had on blue jedi robes. Underneath the robes he had on red and black armor made of cortosis ore which deactivated lightsabers. On his belt he carried two lightsabers the lightsaber on his left was yoda's lightsaber given to him by Yoda and on his right was a double bladed lightsaber that he had created 1500 years ago one blade was black with yellow lightning and the other is red with black lightning.
He had always recovered it later that day he saw a shuttle land and out walked Luke and Mara he walked out and said "Luke how did you find me here on Yavin 4" and he says "we know that you come here to meditate even thought he temple is gone we know you can still feel its power." Firekiller says " Why have you come here i came here to refresh my training in the force because today is my 2026th birthday and i needed to be in a quiet and secluded place to practice force techniques long lost to time."
Mara says " we came here to recruit you for a mission we plan on attacking the vong to take back coruscant like we did with yavin 4 it will be me, luke, jaina, jacen and you because you know their weaknesses from fighting them 70 years ago before they invaded our galaxy." So he gets his stuff ready and he takes off in his modified slave 1 while they took off in the shuttle he tests all systems including his cloaking device and all systems showed green.
They dock with the star destroyer when they are docked they go into hyperspeed taking them towards Coruscant there was nothing to do so he spars with Mara and Luke he uses his double bladed lightsaber. He starts out in form 4 he activates his lightsaber and the blades crackle to life. He leaps forward wth a overhead attack towards Mara she blocked but when she counterattacked he switched to form 7 and blocks her attack.
She keeps attacking but he blocks every attack even when she did flips then he counterattacked knocking away her lightsaber before she could call it to her Firekiller used the force to call it to him then he turned to luke and fired out a force blast. Luke blocks it with his lightsaber but when he does it scatters into a million tiny shards tearing apart Luke's armor and knocking his lightsaber out of his hand then he used a force hit to knock luke out.

CHAPTER 2

When Luke comes to he says" what happened" and Firekiller says "that attack is called a force spike it is an attack that i invented there are many more advanced techniques that i know i know lots about the jedi codes long forgotten." Then he says " i was orphaned at a young age my parents had been killed in the sith jedi war i was tooken in by Darth Bane the only person to survive that battle he saw my potential and taught me all of the ways of the sith i grew in power then when he was killed i went out to get revenge but i ran across a jedi and he took me in. I learned the jedi way after learning from some of the best jedi in the old republic i went into a cyrogenic sleep."
Then Mara says"what happened next" and he said "that story is for another time because we are coming out of hyperspeed." So they suit up and Mara comes out in a form fitting armor with a reddish-black plated skirt on it was covered by her purple robes, Jaina came out in a similar outfit but her plated skirt was purple. Firekiller came out in his usual outfit minus his robes with both of his lightsabers hanging from his belt. So they pile into Stealth Fire and fly towards the planet in stealth mode.
When they get there they are shocked because they saw no buildings only green moss that dissolved inorganic materials he puts up a force shield to protect the ship. Firekiller says"we'll have to head west that is where their headquarters is at." They walked for about ten meters when they heard a noise they duck into a alley as two vong walk by when they walk by Firekiller leaps out of the shadows and slices both of their heads off throwing vong blood all over his armor. He then pulls the bodies into the shadows then they proceed on avoiding vong patrols. After about ten minutes they see a complex of crab shell armor which was their main base of operations. In the center was a shell five times the size of the others and it was heavily guarded he surveyed the perimiter and said "Luke you , jania and jacen will enter the north side while Mara and i will enter the south side. So they seperate and Firekiller says"Mara i am going to take out the shells one at a time keep watch and you will know when i need help" so he enters the first shell and sees three vong warriors so he tosses force lightning frying one of the vong turning the body to ashes.
When they see that both attack him all at once they charge forward and surround him they attack with their amphistaffs but he leaps up and the vong hit each other knocking them back he leaps down with his double bladed lightsaber cutting off one of their heads and then cut the other one in half.

CHAPTER 3

After the battle he senses that the others are in trouble so they sprint towards the disturbance at the center of the camp. When they got there they saw vong all around their friends. So he and Mara ignite their lightsabers and plunged thru the vong cutting left and right killing vong they reach their team and Firekiller says" you guys stay here i will draw them off." The vong fell back but he force leapt away and was surrounded by vong and he said "none of you will live i shall kill you all" he threw out force lightning frying the vong.
While he was doing that the vong isolated each jedi it was ten vong for each jedi they all fought valiantly but the numbers were overwhelming Mara was doing excellent but then a vong sneaks up behind her and hits her with his amphistaff in the back of the head she rolled with it but it left her bruised. When Firekiller saw this h4e got angry he was so angry that he threw caution to the wind and a black glow formed around him he let himself go becoming one with the force. He summoned a maelstrom around him shell houses and debrie flew around him crushing vongs left and right but he wasn't done yet red force lightning lept from his hands killing the vong around all but Luke.
He looked at the vong surrounding him with glee he embraced his anger he hadn't killed this much in 300 years. The team seeing this plunge forward to stop him by any means necessary when all of a sudden a reserve troop of vong surrounded luke their amphistaffs hit Luke knocking him down then they pummel him relentlessely beating him to death. Mara sees this and they rush over catching the vong by surpise killing them all but when she got there he wasn't breathing so she tried to revive him but was unsuccessful and she couldn't feel him in the force. Mara cried as Luke's body vanished becoming one with the force Firekiller felt Luke's Death so he summoned up his force spikes and launched attack after attack at the vong he didn't care that it was hurting him he was going to make them pay for Luke"s death the blasts completely destroyed the vong he showed no mercy then he calmed down and felt exhausted.
He went to Mara and she cried on his shoulder while jaina and jacen comforted each other since they were siblings he just held her letting her cry. When she was done crying she looked at Firekiller and saw the tears he was holding she knew he wanted to cry but couldn't because he had to be strong while in enemy territory he says" let's go back to the ship this mission is a loss" once they are inside the ship he turns on the autopilot when they are in space heading towards the star destroyer he finally breaks down while Mara comforts him.

Chapter 4

They head back to their hidden base and firekiller says " Mara can i talk to you for a minute" so the others deboard and he says " Mara i am going to tell you my real name it is Leon Star and after awakening from my sleep i saw that the jedi had been all but wiped out so i searched for as many as i could find but they were hidden" Then he says "after i found no jedi i went into seclusion to train i returned when the emperor was killed and i met my mentors Boba Fett and Aurra Sing who also happened to be a former jedi they taught me everything they knew about bounty hunting and i taught Aurra some force techniques then i joined Luke at at Yavin 4."
When he is done she leans over and kisses him full on the lips after a minute she pulled away and said "you are a good friend to me i will see you when you get back from Dagobah then she leaves. He stands there for a few seconds stunned then he pilots his ship Firekiller which he named after him. He lands on Dagobah to get vack to nature and to become intune to the force also that is where he had a hideout he had rebuilt yoda's hut for meditation purposes. He lands his ship and goes to the hut he puts himself into a deep force trance when he is in the force trance. After he goes into the trance he sees Mara in his mind.
He tries to shut the kiss out of his mindbut it keeps with him lingering in his mind then he reliazes he must face it that is when he realizes that he wants to be with her but last time he was in love with a woman she was killed by one of his many enemies while he was away and she swore that he would never fall in love again. Anyways she had just lost luke it is too soon to make a move he draws on the force and a red aura surrounds him he gathers it into his body energizing evey cell. Then he comes out of the force trance red lightning crackled around his body then dissipate he swore that the vong will pay for all the innocent deaths and for his friends deaths including Luke. He heads toward his ship intent on fighting the vong by himself but when he gets there he sees luke's spirit appear and he says "i can stay only for a little while i have already talked to everyone except you Leon i sensed you concentrating the force into your body and that can mean only one thing you are going to avenge my death and the death of innocents by fighting the vong alone but that is foolish you are needed by your friends you are their only hope and i know you are confused about your feelings for Mara. I want you to be with her and take care of her and my child i give you my blessing goodbye my friend." Then luke's spirit fades away and he is left alone.

CHAPTER 5

He leaves Dagobah and heads back to the hidden jedi base when he gets there he heads towards the briefing room to find Mara. On his way there he runs into Mara and she can see that there is something different about him he seemed stronger than when he left. He sees her and says"Mara i was looking for you i saw Luke on Dagobah he helped me with my conscience i feel stronger now." She says " Leon he talked to me also he said that i was to be with you to take care of you and to keep you under control."
When she is done talking they kiss passionately it seems like time is standing still after what seemed like hours but in reality was mere minutes they seperate and he takes her hand and they walk to the training area he see jedi training and his eye falls on a young blonde haired girl named Leah he says " Mara i shall take her on as an apprentice she has skills but they need to be refined." Mara calls the students to attention and says "this is your new instructor Leon he is going to teach you techniques you never knew." He calls up Leah and says " atack me" so she ignites her red lightsaber ad slices forward but Leon quickly ignites his green lightsaber deflecting it then he came around with a slice sideways to her ribs she parried it but she moved a little to slow and couldn't block the punch to her gut.
She flew back and did a perfect backflip landing on her feet then she threw caution to the wind by charging in with rapid fire blows left and right he kept parrying the blows letting her wear herself out but he was having trouble blocking her flips when she was finally worn out she leapt back and lunged forward with a thrust aimed for his mid section but he stepped aside, deactivated his lightsaber and used a force push to knock away her lightsaber her momentum caused her to fall on her stomach. and he said " Leah you did well but you must learn to control your anger and power and also you must use the force to anticipate the opponents moves i shall take you on as an apprentice." Then he says "Leah watch as i take on Mara and Jaina in a duel except i shall use my own lightsaber."

CHAPTER 6

So he ignites his double bladed lightsaber and they ignited theirs Mara came in with her violet lightsaber high while Jaina came in low with her blue lightsaber but he blocked them both then he came in with a straight attack against them both they deflected it and counter attacked their sabers crackled upon impact but he was slowly giving ground and he was having trouble blocking all of the attacks. Finally he thinks to himself i have to end this quickly so he gathers up the force energy and forms a force field around him then he tosses force lightning at Jaina she absorbs it but when she does he comes in with a slash knocking her lightsaber out of her hand ending the duel with her.
He then drops his shield and turns toward Mara he launches a force spike attack at her but she dodged it and force leapt out of the way of the spikes. Then he shuts down his lightsaber and says "this match is over class dismissed." When they leave Mara sees Leon breathing heavy and she says " Leon are you all right?" He says " I'm fine just a little tired it takes a lot of energy to make a force shield and to use my force attack while fighting multiple opponents and i am not as young as i used to be." Leah comes up and says " Master Leon when can i train with you" and he says " tomorrow we will start training so go have fun" then he and Mara walk hand in hand towards her room when they get there she says " Leon would you like to come in for a while" and he says " no i'll pass i have to go talk to Han and Leia about a mission or else i would."
He kisses her good night then heads towards the briefing room and Han ses him enter and says " hey Leon you seem pretty happy" and he says " yes Mara and me are hitting it off good." Leia comes up and hugs him she let go of the embrace and she says " the mission we have for you is very dangerous"

CHAPTER 7

So they tell him the mission he is to confront the vong on Dantoonie that is where Nom Anor is hiding at you are to find him and bring him in alive. Leon says " okay i am going in alone because if anyone else goes they will be a liability to me end of deiscussion" and Han says " you are a great master and the survivor of 2 sith-jedi wars but even you can't take them all out by yourself it is impossible you would die trying." Then Leon says " so be it." then he leaves and heads toward the hangar to get everything ready he runs a check on his custom designed x-wing it had everything that a regular x-wing had but he carried ten concussion missles and ten megaton missles a special missle that he had created to fight the vong. Also it had a cloaking device.
All systems checked out and his weapon bays were fully loaded so he checked his shield power and saw it was operating at three hundred percent maximum capacity. So he goes into a force induced trance to strengthen himself and also to try to see into the future.
He comes out of it thirty minutes later feeling refreshed but worried because he couldn't see the future clearly and also he had to see Mara for maybe the last time so he heads towards her room when he gets there he knocks on the door.
Mara comes to the door wearing a silk robe with a blue belt the robe was almost see thru he says " i am here to take you up on the offer if it still stands" and she says " sure come on in but be quite the baby is sleeping." So he comes inside and the door seals shut behind him she guides him into the bedroom shutting the door. She says " i know why you are here i talked with Leia ad Han and they told me about your stupid stunt you are going to pull please don't go alone take me, jaina and corran we can help you out."
As she is saying that she gives him a much needed neck and shoulder massage which relaxes him he leans back into her grip and holds her he says " I think we can negotiate a sutiable solution." Then the lights dim plunging the room into total darkness.

CHAPTER 8
The next morning he walks out of the room with Mara. They had down the long, cold, metal corridor towards the briefing room, he sees the troops there but he bypasses them and heads toward his group of friends. When he gets there he goes up to Han and says he is sorry. " What for?" Leon looks at him " you know why for what i said to you, i was too cocky beause i have survived two major wars." "Don't be so hard on yourself we all make mistakes" said Leia who came over and hugged him.
" attention everyone the meeting is starting take your seats." So they take their seats all but Leon who stood in the back his face shrouded by the hood. He looked around the briefing room, it made him uncomfortable because it was a sterile, cold room, free of any feeling it felt more like a prison. He looked down the aisle to see Mara three rows down and two seats to the left. Then his gaze fell on the general, he was a cold person, hardened by the war with the vong. The general had a grudge against Leon because he had refused to join the military, and supported the jedi. The general stood up " welcome to operation payback, this mission will compose of three steps, alpha team you will engage the vong on Dubrillion, rogue squadron you will fight the vong in space above Dantooine. While phantom squadron led by Leon sneaks in to find Non Anor, who is hiding there. extreme care is needed no heroics that means you Leon."
Leon looks at the general "general i will take whatever risks i deem necessary, no mere general is going to tell me what to do. I have seen more fighting in one year then you have all your life, i have lost more people then i care to remember, so don't talk to me about heroics." Then Leon tosses a chair against the wall using the force, shattering the chair and walks out seething with rage. Mara goes after him she finds him in the training room facing off against assassin droids with his lightsaber. The droids fired their laser bolts but Leon deflected them towards each other, the bolts bounced off of their armor, but in the confusion he charged forward toward them. the droids turned towards him and activated their lightsabers, parrying his blows but the droid on the left used too much power; which caused him to miss. Leon brought up his lightsaber and chopped off his head while impaleing the other on his lightsaber.
He deactivated his lightsaber as the clean up crew came in. He walked over to Mara " sorry for taking off like that; i needed to get out of there before i did something stupid. I wanted to fry him with force lightning killing him" that's okay as long as you are okay and please next time, don't be so quick to take offense. said Mara. "Okay and i am all right now that you are here with me Mara." So they kiss he can feel the heat and passion behind the kiss it was intoxicating." Finally they seperate reluctantly and headed towards the hangar.

CHAPTER 9

When they got there he saw it was busy, technicians running everywhere getting everything prepared and making a final check on all ships. As he walked by the troops they moved away from him, they were scared of what he could do. Corran comes up to Leon shaking his head " I heard what you did in the briefing room Leon, what about what you learned about keeping calm." "Sorry it is hard when you arepushed to the breaking point but i am better now, let's go." So they pile into a transport ship that was special designed, the cargo hold was about fifty times larger than most. It was designed to hold lot's of ships but currently in the cargo hold was 4 x-wings, each equipped with a cloaking device. In the cargo hold was Corran's x-wing, it was decorated green and white the colors of corsec, Jaina's x-wing was dark purple with a face of a goddess on one side and on the other side was black shapes to symbolize how many vong she had killed. Mara's x-wing was painted blood red with a black hourglass on the sides to symbolize a black widow and finally there was Firekiller's custom x-wing but he redid the paint scheme, it was a midnight blue/black color.
The reason he did that was to make his ship hard to see even when he isn't cloaked. On it were hooded figures some in blue and the others in black, the black ones were the amount of sith he had killed over the years and the blue ones were how many of his jedi friends had died. The transport took off and headed toward Dantooine when they were a safe distance away they jumped into hyperspace. Since there was nothing to do Leon brought out a blaster rifle and tossed it to corran, " Corran i want you to shoot at me i need to practice my energy absorption because i haven't used it in fifty years so i am a little rusty." So he started firing the blaster rifle at Leon, Leon held his hand up absorbing the blaster bolts.
About ten minutes later Corran stopped firing the blaster rifle, so Leon pulls out his double bladed lightsaber because yoda's lightsaber was charging. " Attack me Mara you too Corran." So they ignite their lightsabers, Corran attacks with his yellow lightsaber lunging forward, Leon brings his lightsaber blade up parrying it while Mara tried to sneak in from the side he quickly pivoted blocking her's. But at the same time Corran came in again he was blocking but he was hard pressed to defend and fight back, while he was blocking Corran's lightsaber Mara came in low getting through his defense, but when the lightsaber connected with his armor the lightsaber deactivated. He used a force push to knock her away then he brought up his lightsaber and tried to knock Corran's lightsaber away from him. But Corran shifted to the right avoiding the attack, Leon was getting tired quickly but he drew upon the force to strengthen him.

CHAPTER 10

Leon swung his lightsaber downward at Corran but Corran rolled out of the way, then he clled his lightsaber to him and ignited it. He turned the handle and the blade shifted from yellow to purple and grew twice its length. Leon thinks to himself " how am i going to defeat Corran, I know i'll use white force lightning, then follow up with my force spike attack." So he raises his hand and bolts of shimmering white lightning came crackling out of his hands, eagearly seeking out its target. Corran sees it coming and absorbs it. Leon thinks to himself " perfect he can only absorb so much energy i'll overload him."
He looks at Corran and sees him grimacing in pain he almost passed out due to it because he had been absorbing energy for about five minutes straight. So Leon summons up his force spike attack, he launched the attack at Corran, Corran watched helplessly as a red force blast came at him, it hit him overloading his system and he passed out. " one down one to go" he said to himself. He turned towards Mara who had finally recovered her breath " you should give up now you can't win." She looks at Leon and sees him breathing heavy, his face covered in sweat, she knew he was near exhaustion. So she presses the advantage by attacking head on, Leon parried her blows but couldn't take the offensive without leaving himself vulnerable. So he continued to block slowly giving ground but he was using that time to gather force energy. When he had gathered enough force energy he used it to create a force field, a red shield appeared blocking the lightsaber attacks buying him some time, but he knew the shield wouldn't hold forever. It was starting to fade in and out he estimated that he could hold the shield up for another two minutes.
So Leon comes up with a crazy idea, if he dropped his shield he could send a force blast point blank. So he draws power from the shield to form a blast of red energy that was the size of a bowling ball. He tosses the blast and yells at her "it is all or nothing there is no inbetween." The blast hits her but she had brought up a flimsy shield to help her. The blast hit the shield and exploded, a red light covered everything. When the light disappeared he saw her on one knee breathing heavy sweat covering her face. Leon was completely wiped out he had barely enough energy to move so they call it a draw. He went over to her and helped her up, his face was covered in sweat, he felt like he had just come from a battle. He looks at Mara as they walk " that was a good match we deserve some rest, there is still six hours till we Dantooine." So they check on Corran and see he is okay just a little shaken, then they head to their quarters for some R and R.
