Stephan Barnes to Write 3 SW books.

Actually he's only writing one SW book, but Del-Rey signed him to do two other books, also.

I don't think Barnes book will be that soon. It seemed to me that his SW book is the third book he'll write under this contract. I don't know how long it take Barnes to write a book but I'd guess over 2 years until it comes out, at minimum.

Yeah, a lot of novelists are said to be writing stuff, and it seems everyone expects it to happen ASAP! But the real truth of the matter is that Del Rey will have their plate full next year in regards to SW material. The NJO ends, Tatooine Ghost and "Shatterpoint" are coming, LFL will want some other Prequel bridge stuff, and so on and so forth.

So, we're gonna have to wait for the novels we really wanna see, from people like Barnes, Zahn, and Cornwell for a few years to come.

This book is gonna have Kit Fisto, OB1, and Anakin featured. I wonder if Bant, Fisto's old apprentice will show up?

Oh and does anyone know when "Shatterpoint" will be out, and what it's about?

Shatterpoint is about Mace Windu during the Clone Wars.

I think it comes out in March or April, but I am not sure about that.
