I've actually heard in a "spy report" there will be a new addition to the Jedi Council in EpIII. The new addition is in form of Mace Windu's padawan!!!! *A Jedi called Owan Neug, who happens to be friends with Anakin. *It seems they bonded in a friendship between AOTC and EPIII - like "war-buddies."

It appears Owan Neug actually plays a semi-important role in EPIII. *He is the one assigned to Padmé, in an attempt to protect her from Anakin. *As Anakin tracks Obi-Wan, Padmé and Owan down to a "new planet", it is here that Obi-Wan tries to calm Anakin down, which results in Anakin snapping back at him. *This is when Owan delivers the line that I have got attached to my posts.

"Anakin. *I am your friend. *Obi-Wan is your Master. *You must obey him."

Appartently, Anakin takes a swing at Owan, but he blocks it with his lightsaber. *This is the start of the great duel. *At first it is a 3 on 1 (Obi-Wan and Owan against Anakin/Vader), while Padmé takes cover and watches. *I believe the other Jedi must all be dead. *The whole council, except for Owan, Mace and Yoda were all killed as Dooku's ships flew in and blastered the Council Room (Not sure about that one). *Obi-Wan and Owan realise that they must get padmé away from Anakin, so Owan breaks away and escapes with Padmé, while Obi-Wan and Anakin continue the battle. *While escaping Owan is badly injured by clonetroopers (now stormtroopers) Appartently, Owan manages to take Padmé to Alderran, where she surprisingly gives birth (surprisingly because she didn't actually know she was "with child" or should i say "with children").

Obi-Wan joins them later, after defeating Anakin/Vader. *As Obi-Wan arrives he witnesses the death of Owan Neug (he was injured so bedly that nothing could be done for him).

Like his master Mace Windu, Owan Neug has an uncommon choice in lightsaber colours. *He carries a yellow bladed lightsaber. *Interesting.

And why in the hell would they put a Padawan on the council? That is another way of proving that the Jedi Order wasn't as strong and "great" as it was made out to be in the original trilogy. Also some of these female Jedi are pathetic. Luminara Unduli fought like a weakling, no speed or lightsaber talent so did the girl with the screwed up hair. The fight scene in AOTC was a joke when you saw some of these women using their lightsabers and yet none of them died even though they looked very weak. Another example of GL being a politically correct freak.

Yea i hope Aayla is in Episode III, and i hope Darth Vader cuts her in 2 in the matter of a second. cause shes sucks! and vader is the best there is. he has to kill her with ease in the next movie and ill love seeing it. i wanna see him kill off about 7 or so Jedis in the matter of a 2 minute lightsaber scene. sorta like the sandpeople, except we GET to see it this time

Perhaps the reason many of the council weren't there (at the end of AOTC) is because someone had to be in command of all those big MF ships taking off full of clone troops style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/eh.gif

Also, I'd like to see Dexter Jettster as special guest council member, as well as Elan Sleazebaggano, who tries to sell death sticks while Yoda's not looking.

No seriously, though, take it easy Angel Blue, you'll blow a hyperdrive motivator, it's all in good fun, just don't respond to replies you don't like. Jeepers, I hope you don't read any of the threads I post to style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif

OK Terrific, Is a saying used by a #1 afternoon drive radio show out of New York (syndicated in over 18 markets) The Oppie and Anthony Show. They use the fraze for many different thing such as, sombody going off on a tangent, or sombody revealing a personal secret that should remain secret, and or when somebody just did or said something entirely stupid. Yes ... sort of.

Adi Gallia appears (don't blink!) in at least one of the shots in the council chamber, but it was actually a reuse of background footage shot for Phantom Menace. No new scenes with her were shot.

She wouldn't have been in the final battle scenes; she was in a Delta-7 providing air support for the gunships and then helping lead a spacebourne assault against some of the Trade Federation ships. This is according to the game Jedi Starfighter, assuming you accept such information.

Anyway... does anyone know why Adi Galla didn't really appear in AOTC? There was that "crap" about a cousin though, which I never got the full story on.

Didn't it say in the script for EpII, that most of the council members were killed - only Yoda, Mace Windu, Adi Gallia, Plo Koon, and Ki-Adi-Mundi survived.

New characters such as Kit Fisto were a little brief, not much was shown - i guess they will be exlored a little more in EpIII, just b4 they die. Of course they can't be explored that much, cos EpIII is said to be concentrating on Yoda, Obi-Wan, Anakin and Padmé.

A few weeks ago I read a rumour somewhere that Mace Windu's padawan will play a semi-important role in EpIII, (and will also be a new addition to the Council) in helping to protect Padmé from Anakin, when he starts to turn. The rumoured name of this character was Owan Neug, but if you read up on Mace Windu in the EU section of the databanks at the official site, two of his past padawans are mentioned. Here is what it says:

"Among Mace's numerous apprentices was the Chalactan Jedi Depa Billaba. Under his skilled tutelage, Billaba became a remarkable Jedi, ascending to rank of Master herself and earning a place on the Jedi Council beside her former Master. Another of his Padawans was Echuu Shen-Jon, a Jedi who would ultimately survive the dark times."

Echuu Shen-Jon? and who survives the dark times?! Could this character actually be the one who is referred to as Owan Neug in the rumour?

its just a rumour and i dont know where they get these ideas and from what sources. ill beleive more rumours when EPISODE III is about a year away.

and the average star wars fan doesnt know about padawans and crap. they only know that anakin is a padawan to obi-wan. THATS IT!! so the next movie has to be 100%, or more like 99% about anakin turning into Vader and then showing Vader killing the jedis.

I thought that was one of the reasons of having a databank at the official site - so u can find out background information on characters, such as which padawans belong to which masters. *The HoloNet was another example of giving background information.

I'd say the average fan will know a little information like this as the average fan must have paid a visit to the official site at least once in their life, especially in this day of age when the internet is so excessable!

I remember a few rumours that were about this distance from the release of EpII - They more or less turned out on the big screen!

The characters in star wars are created to help along each of the other characters through the plot. There are a lot more other things that also need to happen apart from anakin turning into vader - that is just a section. The emporer needs to officially establish himself, and the Jedi need to be killed.

I doubt Anakin/Vader will kill the jedi single handed, as some have speculated - remember, obi-wan said, "...HELPED hunt down and kill the jedi knights." Therefore, maybe there are others than anakin that turn away from the jedi order. Once palpatine has used them he kills them, as there is the possibility that they may and "over-throw" him. He keeps anakin cos he is the "chosen one" and keep the force unbalanced while a sith. Just a thought!

In the EP III we will definitely see why Darth Vader was the chosen one. Even though GL isn't going to give him as much air time as most people would like we're going to see him cut down a number of Jedi Knights in a matter of minutes. We're not going to see a laid back Darth like we saw in the OT. We're going to see a ruthless unstoppable Sith Lord. :censored: :censored:

There was only one chair left, Yoda's, so that leads *me to believe that all of the other council members were killed in AOTC at the "Battle of Geonosis".

Because of the fact that Obi-Wan is one of only two Jedi that survive Episode 3, and he is sort of a wise old wizard in the OT.

I say that Obi-Wan, who was a Jedi Master in AOTC, will be a Jedi Council member.

yea i was a little confused about that scene too. but some of the other jedis are left. id say about 1/2 of the Counsil is still living. we will probably get a good idea of how many are left in the beginning of EPISODE III, or after "that rumored" battle that will end the Clone Ware in the beginning of the movie. I'm gonna say that we'll see a bunch die in that final battle. and then after the battle there will be some sort of scene where we get to see all of the Jedis standing together or at some meeting. then we can get a good idea of how many Anakin will kill, then how many Vader will kill. and i can really really see part of the movie having a saber fight with Vader against about 5 other jedis and he wipes them in the matter of 2 mins or so.

but as for what you were saying, its odd that Yoda's chair is the only one. but if you look, Mace's chair isnt there either and he is still alive. as well with some other jedis

Obi-Wan isn't the kinda Jedi Master that are on the council. *In fact if u refer to the databanks on the official site, u will discover that obi-wan never makes it to official jedi master rank. *the only master status obi-wan has is that he has a padawan. *This kinda master is not allowd on the jedi council, as he has little experience (only 10 years) in jedi knight terms.
