I'm more or less suprised that John Singleton decided to do this movie. The only movie he's done like this is Shaft, and that was kind of a serious movie.

also, i love how they add alot of CGI to the movie now that they have money. wake up! sometimes CGI doesnt make everything look great. cough George Lucas cough

The only reason I will watch this movie is because all of the cars are sweet!! I love to watch them race and I love to look at all of those awesome cars!!

their not sweet cars, their just hondas and acuras that are supped up. a nice car would be a BMW, Lotus, Ferrari or an Audi. something on those lines, not a $20,000 car with about $10,000 of crap added onto it

I disagree, there are some pretty nice supped up cars I have seen. That is an art!

First movie was okay... this one is so much marketing tripe. I may watch on video because I like the racing... but not an $8.50 ticket for me... no thanks.

And as for Vin Diesel? I think it would up the movie's ante a little... it's a tougher sell now that he's famously famous and not in it. But his presence wouldn't make me more likely to see it. But I'm sure it would many others...

vin deisel sucks. since when did he get assigned as a great action hero?!?! and XXX sucked!! and this guy is no where near how big or cool or strong as Arnold in his prime

um, whimmpy because:

a) he doesn't turn his body into pure buldging muscle that is disgusting at times.

b) you really think arnold ever acted before? He is terrible. but Terminator is still a good job for him to do, because it requires a wooden, or shall we say, metal performance.

c) Vin Diesel's death scene in Saving Private Ryan was touching. the first to die. Ever seen Pitch Black, Boiler Room or even A Man apart? He has good acting ability. He's not the best, but he is good.

hey first off the fast and the furious made vin, and now that he doens't come back to do the next movie no matter how less amount of money the would of given him, he wouldn't do it cause he didn't get enoought money, if there was not fast and furious there wouldn't of been no vin

I think he didn't do 2F2F

a) Rob Cohen directed the film, but decided to do XXX first, so Vin did that one first (and they offered him more for that)

b) he read the script! It's supposed to be bad.
