When you joined The Galactic Senate.

When I joined almost a year ago. I met these people first.

Mann, Starra, Queen Onna, Justin and Blizz, in a funny story that I won't mention.

Well, it would have been about three years ago and it was a different incranation of this site, entirely. That said, I think I first met a couple of dudes named Teek and Patrick. Both of whom are seldom seen around these parts lately.

Whisper, I don't remember you from the original GS, but I do remember Beck Malar, because she flirted with me a few times in emails. I wonder what happened to her.

I signed up on the original version of the GS in 1998, so I don't remember exactly who I talked to first. I remember Blizz and T'bone mostly, and probably some other people around here...I think Clara and Jedibrat, I don't know... I got my sister to sign up a few weeks after I did. I didn't post then nearly as much as I do now.

I was there. My first post in the Original Senate was on December 21st 1998. It was in the Gamers Section, in the Rogue Squadron Box. Said something about how it was cool, but I'd rather be Wedge....

The next post was in the beginning of 99. I had gone home on leave :-D

THen there was The Great Purge of March 99...many stories lost, great pain it caused.

I don't doubt you were there, I just don't remember you, lol. I think I joined in the summer of 98. It was one of the first things I did when I first got the internet.

I remember the purge, and I thought it was a good thing, other than the fact that people's RPGs were lost. I barely got into that, so it didn't affect me at all. I thought it was nice that discussions could start again fresh.

You are wrong. But I did come back as Justin Wan Kenobi, after a long hiatus, and that was almost my user name on the new GS. How did you come to the conclusion that both of those were my names?

For Darth Frost mainly cuz most of his arguements against the EU are EXACTLY the same as yours. Verbatim.

As for Chuunthor, well...if you and he aren't the same then Chuunthor and Frosty are the same.

One other thing...the First day of the Senate was in Mid November 98. I was a regular to T's Star Wars Uni, and saw it advertised and lurked for a bit, but joind in December. As for my allusion to where Jedi Nina is...that was Blizz' first User name.

Perhaps you joined inthe Summer of 99? The Senate had gone down in June of 99, so a lot of the Senators went to the council, and it was there that Jedi Nina became Blizzard.

Here in the GS I first met kmdigital (who hardly ever posts) and reintroduced myself to most of the above mentioned ex-Council members that rejoined here.

Someone made a "What Did You Do Over the Summer?" thread and I said "I faked my own death."

Kudos on figuring out I was Darth Frost. I still don't get how you did it...I'm pretty sure my arguments against the EU were more venomous then than they are now. I don't even remember what I've said about it at all.

Oddly enough, the first people I "met" on the GS were GollaFett, Tovor, Nathan Butler, Justin, and Blizz.

I remember getting in a spat with Golla about how Spider-man was a punk in the movie (Goblin kicked his ass throughout!), Vibroblade came to the rescue, and Golla admitted he was wrong! LMAO!!!

There are some people who's name's I've completely forgotten about, i know :o( But I distinctly remember Luthien, Blizzard, Adi Gallia and Darth Bun (I really remember that cause it said Darth Honey Bun and for a short while i thought he was a woman!!) And then later when I got more involved in RPing (especially with the Sith Temple) there was Mandalore, Whisper, Grim, The Doctor, Beck Malar, Anthony... Where'd the Doc go? Hmm, at the old Senate I probably talked to Blizz first. Then I got into the Drygyn boards, which turned into the Bleedingstone Arena, and then finally just BlizzardSkies.com's Arena. That is where I made most of the connections with the people on the boards. Here, I really don't know anybody except people from the old Council and old Senate. I just stopped going after the new board came up, but I'm trying to get back into it.

The old Senate was the first board I came on when I got the internet, and it was my favorite for a while until I got involved with running my own sites, which are now kaput. I still hold a spot in my heart for those old boards....ahh days gone by eh?

Soon I met some of my best internet friends AuntBuru, and MoffDMC to go with Tovor and Teek. Tovor and Teek are the only ones I still "hear" from. I sure miss the comraderie of Moff and AB. We corresponded for a while after they left, but as with all such things, it soon ended.

It was quit a bit latter that I met some of my current friends, Blizz, Nerf, Moo, Red, Lara, etc. I'm sorry if I left anyone off. (most of the above have posted and refreshed my aging memory.)

No, that's not really accurate, because I knew all of those people from Jedinet Counsel. I think that the first two people I remember meeting who I hadn't met before, were Justin and Javen. And then I met Trilogist, who I knew as Kesselminer from Jedinet, and Whitesaber, who I knew as Whitesaber from Jedinet. And then I met Darth Badly. The next person, give or take, that I met was Darth Sithster. And then I became a moderator and met T'Bone, which was cool because I already knew his name as sort of a SW webmaster legend from hearing about him at Jedinet. And then I met Smeghead and Nathan Butler, and Rob who I also kinda knew from Jedinet. And then...gee, how long does this list have to be?

Over 5 years later and I am still friends with three and a half of those people.

Wow I can't believe how many of those people are gone now. I know some of them I'll never talk to again. If there is anyone that I think it would be cool to talk to out of the old group it would be Bidlo Kwerve. I hated the guy at first for some reason but after talking to him me and him became friends. It was kind of sad to see him drop all of his connections because he was tired of the drama. Hmm, maybe he's around just on a different name?

I still talk to RedMirax, Nerf, and Moocat every once in a while. Red is busy with her boyfriend. Nerf and Moo are busy with each other. I talk to Nerf the most out of anyone from the old Council or Senate.

There's a ton of other people that just aren't around anymore.

I remember meeting TK, I had a bit of an argument and got annoyed with him, but we seem to get along quite well now. I also remember Jedi Master Shaft, but he's not round anymore, and I don't think X-3PO posts anymore which is sad because he used to be a cool friend. I remember Queenie and Tov. I also remember Lord Rocha, but I don't see him round much any more

Dear lord, I have the worst memory but the few people I do remember talking to in my first days here were... Obi-wan (who I knew from T'bone's cinescape board), BL-17, Handothrawn, Kafer, Mann, Kit and Frendon. I quickly made many more friends though cos you're all so nice

The first person I met here was probably Shoma Barad, or Rogue_0009. Shoma and Rogue were both part of the Expanded Universe Defense Force, and they were the first real people I met over here.
