One of my dreams: I went to school one day and when I got there the building was in flames but no one noticed but me and I got burned a few times but it didn't hurt. Any of the flames anyone walked through disappeared instantly and the teachers were getting on to everyone about it. In the end we had a fire drill and during the drill the building collapsed but the teachers told us to go back to class. Weird huh?

I am often haunted by dreams about Fleetwood Mac.

There was this one where I was gonna play backup for Lindsey Buckingham. They put me behind Mick (the drummer) so that the crowd wouldn't see me. However, they did, and ended up booing me off the stage because I was not a member of Fleetwood Mac. After the show was over, Lindsey came backstage and said to me, "Don't worry, they just like me better."

Actually, once I dreamed that a man was pointing a gun at me. The gun, however, had a lightbulb attatched to the end of it. When he finally shot me, the lightbulb came on, and I screamed in utter horror as I woke up.

I have pretty weird ones.

Like last night I dreamt that me, a really fat guy, and two top-less girls I'd never seen before were being chased by Jason Voorhees(who happened to be riding an elephant), and we had to apparently kill each other before Jason and his pet elephant got us.

Then once I dreamed that I was asleep, and my asleep-dream-self was having a dream about myself dreaming, who was in turn dreaming about myself, who happened to be dreaming about myself. Wierd, huh?

But then once I had a dream when I was in 2nd grade that scared me so bad that I couldn't sleep for two days straight. It was about me and my best friend; we had been parasailing and we landed on the Jurassic Park island. Anyway it ended with my friend throwing me into a pit of raptors and the T-Rex eating him. But then the T-rex did the cabbage patch and held up a tube of Crest and smiled. And then I woke up.

Told ya they were weird.

I had the weirdest dream I've ever had, last night

I dreamt that I went to the bookstore to buy Harry Potter 5 ( style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif ) and there the woman behind the counter told me I had to buy the read-along cassette with it, all in all costing about $70!! I told her I wouldnt buy the tape only the book, so she made a big fuss and rang up the car dealer because c is for cassette and c is for car, so that she could get them to tell me that I had to buy it. Weird, huh??

It was funny because in the dream the claws were somehow broken and were popping out of my hands in wierd places, and then I like passed out, and woke up Christmas morning and they were all fixed and I used them to open my presents and had a snow ball fight, the other mutants were people I really know too.

I know it sounds super cheesy, but I really dreamt that, very freaky, I never dream like that, most the time I dream about having illicit affairs with beautiful women and showing up for the bus on the first day of school in my underwear.... :look:

I dreamt about having a lightsaber once too, I've dreamed about walking across a lake of lava unharmed. Wierd stuff.

Anyways, Last night I was running a marathon with a bunch of russian women in this huge mall. Then all of a sudden I am running alone through antarctica but naked. I go in this Igloo and it's really a bottomless pit. I fall and fall and fall and fall until well, I never know cuz i end up in my bed. but i'm still asleep. For now I'll just throw a little something onto the playing field.

Malls are a recurring theme in my dreams. I think it's because it represents life, where there are many places to explore. I don't go to the malls very much, so maybe it's also telling me I should.

maybe you guys can help me out with this i have recurring dreams of my teeth falling out.. sometimes they just fall out other times they hang lose and i accidently bite them and crunch down on them then i have to spit the pieces out with blood and nerve.. i know its gross and it freakes me out allmost to the point where it turns into a nightmare anyone have anysuggestions as of what the teeth thing means? i mean this has been going on for 3 years!

I had a dream about a year ago ... I was trick-or-treating with my friend Lorajean and her younger sblings Jaren, Spencer, Christopher, and Sarabeth. I was dressed in a scary monster costume. We stopped by a pink house. A week later, we did go trick-or-treating, and Jaren seemed to hedge whenever we'd come across a house that looked pink. Lorajean sent me an email after this ... "Note to self, never let Kevin around Jaren, pink houses, and scary monster costumes, all at the same time!"

Marketplace? Well, right that instant the picture of a cow and some eggs came to mind, among the bustle of a marketplace of course.

And brookie, if you aren't afraid of losing anything, do you have anyone around you that is a dentist? Do you go to the dentist regularly? Do you take good care of your teeth? I used to get dreams about losing teeth right after a friend of mine decided she wanted to be a dentist. She talked about brushing and flossing and I know I don't do as much as I should so that's probably why I had the dreams. Since then I have taken better care of my teeth and haven't had another tooth dream.

It helps if you can recall how certain things make you feel in the dream. Not how you feel afterwards.

I've been having some pretty bad nightmares lately, along with some recurring ones.

By far my worst dream ever - being raped in the dark by someone I didn't know. It was one of those dreams where you feel everything... style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif Yeah, it hurt, and I woke up in a cold sweat. Being a virgin and having that dream totally sucks. Plus, I've had a few recurrences of that dream. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif

But I've had some pretty cool dreams as well. I've had a dream where I was lightsaber dueling with Darth Vader (another dream where I could feel everything - I felt it when he Force-slammed me in the stomach, ow style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif ) but the dream was still awesome. I loved the fight, even though I ended up losing the duel and I woke up just as he was standing over me with his lightsaber to my chest.

Is anyone else able to physically feel their dreams happen to them like I do?

good advice but i do take very good care of my teeth i really have no other ideas why maybe it dates back to childhood and losing teeth and playing with the dangling nevrevor you know sometimes when you would accidently bite it? how frealkin gross was that maybe i represed the feelings... isnt it an odd dream?

yes! i always dream that im stabbed or something and it hurts but not a painful hurt but something wierd

Jedibrat, my only advice would to be to talk with someone close to you that you are comfortable with. I can't even begin to try and understand how you feel about that area of your life. Any explanation I give you would be relatively worthless. Good luck though.

Since I wake up every hour or so, I have many dreams, crazy dreams, that I recall. Most of the time a new dream starts when I fall back asleep, but from time to time if I really try I can sink back into the same dream.

This is part of a dream I had last night.

I was in a group on a guided tour... of a street not too far from where I'm staying. Instead of shops and whatnot on either side of me, there were aquariums. They had fish in them at first. As we were about to reach the intersection I noticed one of the tanks had a rat about the size of... I dunno, an average sized shoe? Anyhoo, it was submerged and swimming around. As I entered the intersection, I was alone now, it was as if I was moving through water. Instead of cars there were hunreds of rats. Right before I was through the intersection, two groups of rats started up as if their lights had turned green. These rats were in the same lanes but at opposite ends sides of the intersection, racing towards each other with me in the center. I exited the instersection before they collided but there was never any sense of fear involved. On the other side I was in what kind of looked like an aquarium section of a zoo. The intersection I just came from was now an aquarium itself.

I'm too tired to try and understand this dream right now. I'm off to bed soon for some more crazy adventures.

Well I have an interpretation of my rat dream now. I basically think it's telling me I need to spend less time at these boards if I can't talk about things that are important or at least worth debating. I'll explain.

Alright, I read that the sound of running rats could mean you're at a stand still or you're wasting time. Many of the threads I participat in leave me wondering if I have wasted my time, mostly because many people don't seem to be open to different ideas or points of view. When I entered the intersection it was like I was entering a thread, or aquarium, and I that's why I felt I was walking through water. Sometimes it is a chore to get your opinion across to someone and in the end it may seem that it wasn't worth the time spent. I exited the aquarium/intersection/thread and was surrounded by more aquariums/threads.

I'm open to anyone else's interpretation since I'm sure there are different ones out there(kind of like some recent theories in other parts of this board style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif ). You'll still probably see a change in the quality and quantity of my posts.

Do any of you have strange dreams when you are sick? I do.

I've got this one recurring dream where I am in my bed, and everything seems to mimick how I feel. There are lines that are soft and smooth when I am calm, but always beging to tangle as I get anxious. The same goes for sounds, they are soothing, but then turn abrasive and disjointed. There is also a sense of my vision as a square, which contracts and expands smoothly, and then starts to become jagged somehow. It is an extremely strange dream, and I know I haven't properly explained it. The truth is, it's impossible to interpret to others, I'm the only one who will ever know exactly what it is, and even now, I'm still abit foggy.

Another one when I was sick came during a period of stomach sickness and/or diziness, also after I had recently seen Pearl Harbor. During the dream, I am controling forces in a war against black shapes that I can never seem to destroy and are constantly slaughtering my people. The dream becomes more frantic as time goes on.

There's another battle-dream, but it isn't anxious. I am either controlling or am in a force of mech-like troops attacking a facility that seemed to remind me of a school. (Don't ask me why) We are fighting against bacteria related monsters (That's the only way for me to describe them) and the battle seems to be going fine. That was about all I could get from it.

All these dreams are extremely weird and related to sickness and depend on my mood (Not during the day, but as I am sleeping through the dream) ???

The last two have only happened once each, but I've had the first one many times.

What do you make of it?

I don't have an immediate comment on the last two, but the first dream sounds like something that could take place during an acid or mushroom trip. I'm not in the least bit surprised that it has happened many times. It sounds like you are viewing your reality from a different perspective.

I'm hardly an authority on the subject though.

Miasma, I'm not going to try and interpret anyones' dream. Dreams in my opinion are very personnel, and one should attempt to interpret their own dreams themselves. I will say that I believe dreams are the travels of the astral body, in the past, present, future, and possibly other lives that your soul is currently experiencing. Sometimes they are about unresolved issues that have to do with karma. When karmic issues aren't resolved in the phisical world, they are delt with in the astral world. I have dreams that are about my future. The problem is interpretation. Dreams get filtered thru the subconcious and become symbolistic most of the time. I usually don't realize what exactly my prophetic dreams are about until they come true. Dreams also play a part in Star Wars. In TPM novel, Anakin tells Padme that he saw her leading an army. He also states that he had a dream in which he frees the slaves on Tatooine. This I believe goes to show how important Master George believes dreams are to all of us, and mythology in general.
I will relate a dream I recently had, that had to do with Star Wars. In this dream I was watching TV, it was one of those shows like Access Hollywood, or Entertainment Tonight. On the screen was a reporter at one of the premiers of episode III. The next shot I remember was a group of Star Wars fans, in a circle with their arms around each other. They seemed to be comforting one another, some had tears in their eyes, and seemed very upset. I don't know if these fans were upset because episode III was going to be the last movie, or if it was because the movie itself was very moving. It would be great if episode III were so good that it had the ability to move people in such a way. I guess we'll have to wait and see if this dream is prophetic or not.

Yes they are personal. Yes they can be better understood in some cases if you get an opinion from an outside source. I do interpret my own dreams and I'm open to someone elses view of what I describe. That's all I was really hoping for, another point of view.

My dreams are prophetic, well almost 85 % of the time. My most recent dream had me become a cop somewhere far away from where I am now, it was like a beach town or coastal city. I dreamt of a patch and kept seeing it throughout the dream, I also saw someone who I am guessing was my wife and our apartment. I also felt great homesickness and sadness as I prepared to leave all that behind to return home....after I woke up I went about investigating and found out the place I had "heard" in my dream had a police department with the exact same patch!!! I was like whoa!! This also occured after one of my other dreams came true.

I had this really strange one about a week ago. I was at the cinema, and instead of lining up to get your tickets you just got them from a computer thing. There was this tiny little boy there and I asked him 'what movie are you going to see?' I had this dream about these Iraqi terrorists who turned up at school. They were standing on the top of the buildings, and they had guns with picket fences sticking out the ends. I once had a dream that I was in a CSI episode. I was following them around as they conducted an investigation. What was great was that Grissom was being very clever, he knew the main witness to the crime was actually the culprit and he confronted him in his home. We were all there. Then the suspect grabs a gun and starts shooting us all. It was the first time I've ever actually been shot in my dream. It didn't wake me up. Being shot felt weird.

I've had a load of dreams, where everything feels real with all my senses working as if I was in the real world - which can be painful and often I'll awake still in pain. The worst part is, in one dream I fell off a building!

However I also have dreams that are just plain bizarre. One which I remember (and which is easy to write down) went as follows:

I get up one morning and walk to work. BUT the workplace has now moved to McDonalds. BUT it isn't McDonalds it's some sort of office.
After a while of sitting and doing nothing I decide I've had enough and leave.
Whilst walking home I notice that it's quite and there are no people, cars, birds ANYTHING about. Then I remember EVERYONE IS DEAD! For some reason this doesn't trouble me at all.
I get home and go to open my gate. Instead of a handle on the gate there is an axe.

Then I wake up.

Are you sure that it did really happen, but felt like it was a dream and pinched yourself and was awake but was in shock due to the fact that the girl

I had a really strange dream last night. I dreamt that I was in a small traffic plane with my parents (I remember the plane had 17 seats). We were on our way to Tennessee, but over the skies of southern Georgia, there was a hurricane on it's way, and the plane got caught in a massive thunderstorm. The plane went in to land at a small airfield, and there were some really strange people that ran it (it's very fuzzy).

I had a strange dream a few weeks ago where I was standing on a concrete dock or something. And there was crystal clear water as far as I oculd see and in the water a baby was swimmimg, even going under the water. I thought it had been drowning, but it wasn't. When I jumped in, I couldn't swim and I kept going under the water trying to hold my breath and I would come up but go back down under.

Basically that is all there was to the dream, but it was a strange one.

1. I dreamt that I was in German occupied France during World War II and lived in a hotel that was falling apart.

2. I dreamt that I was on a passenger ferry in the Baltic Sea.

3. I dreamt that I was listening to a campaign speech by the Swedish conservative leader. Somehow my old classmates from high school was involved in that dream, but I've forgotten how.

I drempt I was in the Amazing Race and FloFett was my partner. We were racing against Goodie and his boyfriend, Rich. Goodie was mad that he couldn't get on a flight for Argentina (lol, go figure) so he laid down in front of the airport doors and wouldn't let Flo and I past. So I bent down and kissed Goodie on the mouth and crawled right over him and he let me. And since I call him my little brother we were both thinking, "OMG, a Luke and Leia moment!"

I had a dream a while ago where I was in school just before 6th period trying to buy some food out of the vending machines, but these annoying freshman girls kept taking the machines and moving them around the school, and as I'd try and follow them I'd be stopped by interloping teachers who would tell me to go to class, so I'd have to sneak by them and search out the girls with my precious vending machines full of food. It was quite odd.

I had a lovely Boba Fett dream, I don't get many SW dreams (or indeed Boba ones) so I cherish every one.

I dreamt he was dragging me through a forest and it was raining heavily, I was wearing razor wire around my wrists that tightened and cut into my skin everytime I tried to move my hands so I was trying to hold them still out in front of me, but I kept tripping and he kept hauling me back onto my feet which made the wire cut deeper. I was shouting at him to stop being an arse when a huge animal of some sort (don't know what it was) appeared infront of us and bit his shoulder then disappeared. He fell to the ground and I told him that it was poisonous. Then he took my razor wire off so I could heal his shoulder and then frustratingly I woke up.

Haha, I don't have many SW themed dreams although I did have an interesting one right before the release of ROTS.

I dreamed that I waited in line all day for the Mega Screen showing but since I wasn't dressed up they brought me into a small room and forced me to watch it on a 27" TV. I got real pissed because my first experience was ruined because I had to watch it like that. It was really weird. I woke up really angry.
