I object to having an Expanded Universe character in this poll, because there's no comparison from a lightsaber fight in a book to the ones in the movies.

Jacen is my favorite character but I voted for Yoda. Jacen has more future potential but he still is nowhere near the skills that Yoda showed in AOTC. The fact that he is about 2 feet tall makes it even more spectacular.

I vote for Luke since his fighting with the green lightsaber actually made the most difference. Also he is cuter that Yoda (who came a very close second).

Qui-Gon! Qui-Gon rocks! He is a fabulous Jedi Master, kinda like half Yoda as in meditating etc. and half like Mace (the "powerful" one) Qui-Gon is great and amazing with a lightsaber!

I agree. ROTJ was Luke's coming of age film and his scene at the end with Vader was THE best scene of all the movies.

But Yoda is still the boy.

Yeah, it had to be Yoda I guess, although he never won a fight vs a Sith Lord with it. Luke would be a close second for his exploits in ROTJ. I'm amazed that anyone would think Qui-Gon was the best with the green saber. :scratchchin: :blink:

To be fair, he was very good with the saber, but the question wasn't who was technically adept (which he undoubtedly was - possibly the most technically capable Jedi I have seen to be honest) the question was who was the best, which encompasses more than just ability.
