This will be my first animated movie on Blu-Ray and it should look impressive.

Thats crappy too, we don't have any targets here in Canada and that artwork would be the one I would have gotten. :(

Actually when the original page from the OS had the Target covers credited to Best Buy as I recall it clearly so Rolla was correct at the time. The Best Buy tin cover didn't appear at all on the OS site. It has been updated as has the digitbits page.

We have Targets in Australia but they don't always get exclusive covers. K-mart in Oz usually gets a different cardboard cover (not seen anywhere else) over the standard cover and Ezy dvd gets a tin cover so it will interesting to see who get what in here.

If I get 2 disc, I'll get the one from Target, but I'm debating whether the 2 disc even has any good extras that I want:wink:

This will be my first animated movie on Blu-Ray and it should look impressive.Hmmmm...not sure. It would wind up being a blind buy if I do, and they're not exactly cheap. That said, it is a SW flick, and I have nearly all of them on dvd already. That said, it clearly didn't mean much to me if I hadn't even seen it in theaters. Balls, I just don't know.

The release date for Region 2 (at least in Scandinavia and the U.K.) has been set, December 8 (according to British Amazon for the U.K.).

Mine, too. It's stupid because the 2-Discs are the ones that are supposed to have a cool cover. But at least we have Target's 2-Disc edition. Even though I'd rather just have the Single-Disc (Regular) cover (the CW movie poster), I will take the cool Target 2-Disc cover over dumb Anakin. Because the whole point of this is that I want to get the 2-Disc. Maybe I'll get both :)

I pick up my copy of the Clone Wars Movie yesterday from Best Buy.

It is nice to see this where it belongs and that is not in a theater but in my TV screen. I love the extras with this but would like warn everyone that there are a lot of spoilers in the extras DVD that give you info about the upcoming TV show episodes. I love the deleted scenes and would like to see things like these added to the DVD version much like the Lord of the Rings DVD did. I understand that a theater version should only be so long but the DVD version doses not need that kind of restriction. I can not wait to start picking this one apart to see the little things going on in it that can not be enjoyed in the theater. The over all feeling of this has gone up quite a bit just because it is now ‘home’ for me.

The picture has an oil-panting feel and you can see the brush strokes. The inside (is a bit plain) is that desert seen of clones vs. droids from the preview pics that came out some time ago but never made it into the movie. The back is various moments of the show and is very nice.

Be careful with those steelbook cases, they get damaged real easy.
