He is saying, I doesn't seem that anyone is "home". Perhaps I should knock. Then, right after he taps the doors, he says, okay, lets go then. Then that droid thingy pops out and he burst, "Goodness gracious me!"

I love that part! Not to completely leave out R2's

And then that droid thingy shoots it's "head" over in R2's direction and R2 bounds back, studdering cranky beeps, and toots in aggression. I love R2, and the way he is so stubborn and forth-coming. Did I mention fiesty?

PS: I also have another favorite part. In the recently released "Special Edition" of the OT, you know, the one in the black and white plastic case, I like watching when they interview Mr. Daniels, he was telling about the creation of C-3PO and then about the story-line of the droid. And here is the reason why, I am going to try and quote what he said on the tape;</span>

It was a genuine shock for me to find out that Darth Vader, Anakin Skywalker, was Threepio's father.
Threepio never finds out. Can you imagine...can you think of the therapy sessions that would have to go on after that;
Threepio, lying on a couch...(now talking in C-3PO "voice") "Darth Vader...my father...Oh, my!"

I've always get a kick out of that everytime I see that. I can just imagine C-3PO actually lying on a couch having a therapy session. :lol:

Well I live in the kingdom of Norway and the regent, The KING and/or the QUEEN is referred to as YOUR MAJESTY.

The Prince and the Princess is referred to as Your Royal Highness.

But this is waaaay off Topic. Just wanted to clear this.

Well, I tend to think that I like him even more for doing that. Even though I have never heard that much about him. I really think it is good that they start marrying people who are not royal. The people are royal enough whether they marry the heir to the throne aor not, aren't they? Plus, it makes him not seem so stuck-up. He comes off to me as a down-to-earth person to me. And that is always a good sign.

According to British law, isn't it true that if a monarch abdicates the throne, as did King Edward VIII in 1936, doesn't that put a stop in his "royal-lineage" as you would say? That his children with Ms. Wallis Simpson, if they had any, would not be called Prince or Princess? If so, wouldn't he, since he did serve, still be called Your Majesty? As we still call our former Presidents, Mr. or Mrs. President. If we ever have a woman to serve, as we haven't. That would really suck if I was an "oldest-son" decendant of King Edward and didn't know it; and if he had not abdicated, that I would truly be next in line. Hah, that's a laugh! But that would be cool though.

I figured you didn't like it. Well, I don't have a problem with William or Harry ascending to the throne after Queen Elizabeth, but Charles, um...nah. I just don't think he would be a good king. I think he needs to abdicate before he even gets there and name William or Harry as the next "direct" heir.

And back to King Edward. At least he was named Duke of Windsor and then appointed Governor of the Bahama Islands. So his abdication wasn't all that bad. I mean, I don't think people should really care who the monarch marries. I mean, look at what all the rules and restrictions have done to royal marriages so far. You would think that the laws would have changed since way back whenever. (ex. King Henry VIII)

We have also just gone through the "Idols / Pop Idols " scene
here in South Africa - It seems to be everywhere.

We don't have a monarch ruling us although we do have the tribal Royal families. We don't hear much from them.

As for C3PO....

I think his part in the OT is merited. I have always enjoyed him, although he is annoying at times (part of his character). I am still trying to figure his role in the PT. It appears that GL is trying to re-introduce his character, and this comes off a little lame.

Well, while I find his role in the Prequals somewhat annoying, I thought Threepio and Artoo were great in the original trilogy. They brought us into the story from the get-go, after all. Besides that I'd also read somewhere that Lucas had originally planned the series to be about the adventures of the two droids. That Luke was gonna be a girl, Han solo an alien and so forth. Needless to say things turned out differently, but perhaps they (Artoo and Threepio) were the over-all inspiration for the SW universe.

All I can say is, if you don't like the SW droids, you might as well turn yourself over to the Yuuzhan Vong, cause the droids have been, are now, and always will be a part of the SW universe.

But that's just my opinion.
