Can anyone tell me which comics/books feature Aayla Secura.

Thanks!

Most of the ongoing Star Wars comic series story arcs starting with Twilight feature Aayla. That's the series that will soon be renamed Star Wars: Republic. If you download the Star Wars Timeline Gold (http://www.starwarz.com/timeline/), you can do an "edit...find" search for her name and discover every story she's been featured in.

Your link didn't work for me, Nathan.

There's another timeline here, http://www.jedinet.com/timeline/
Belongs to JN of course. If you go there, you'll see she is first introduced in Twilight (-31 years: Star Wars #19-22), you can click on the titles, and I think she's also in Darkness, The Devaronian Version, and Rite of Passage, but I'm not sure. Try here: http://www.jedinet.com/timeline/timeline.asp?title=swt
I think you can ask GhentZ (JN's literature guru) or Chrono as well... not sure if they hang around here or not, but I believe they do answer their JN e-mail.

She's also in the non-flashback sequences of "The Stark Hyperspace War" comic arc, in which Master Tholme is telling her about his and Quinlan's participation in those events that marked the last major conflict of the Republic prior to the Naboo Blockade.

Thanks for the info.

So does that mean that she is only featured in comics, and not the novels?

That is correct.

You can probably fix some of the errors and conjectural bits on that timeline section using the SWT-G.

Thanks for the info Nathan.

Aayla has appeared in these Dark Horse Star Wars comics :

- 'Twilight' (Dark Horse Star Wars Ongoing #19-22)
- 'Heart of Fire' (In Dark Horse Extra #35-37)
- 'Darkness' (Dark Horse Star Wars Ongoing #32-35)
- 'The Stark Hyperspace War' (Dark Horse Star Wars Ongoing #36-39)
- 'Rite of Passage' (Dark Horse Star Wars Ongoing #42-45, Issues #44-45 to be released on August 7 and September 4 respectively.)
- 'Star Wars Episode II Attack of the Clones' comic version
- Dark Horse Star Wars Republic #49, scheduled December 2002, title unknown yet, appearance by Aayla confirmed.

Some more information about the upcoming #49 issue, the text below is taken from starwars.com's report of the Dark Horse panel at San Diego Comic-con: :

Editor Randy Stradley: "Starting with issue #49 of Republic, we move right into the Clone Wars, right into the events immediately following Episode II. So, for the first time in a long time, the comics are going to take you ahead of where the movies are. You're going to get to see all the stuff that happens next."

"We start on a space station where Quinlan Vos is working for the Jedi as a spy, and has a spy network that he's constructed over the last couple of years," illustrator Jan Duursema elaborated. "Unfortunately, the spy network uncovered nothing about Geonosis and the events there. So, something else is in the works that Quin has a lead on, and he's determined that this one will not escape him. Aayla Secura comes to the station, and both of them become embroiled in trying to find out what is going on before another Geonosis can take place."

"One of the best parts about the story is that it gives us a glimpse as to how the regular citizens of the Star Wars galaxy feel about what's going on during that time period," added Stradley. "It leads directly into issue #50, which is going to be a double-sized issue. I don't want to say too much about it, but the title is 'The Attack on Kamino.'"

According to John Ostrander, it seems that Aayla will feature as an integral character in #49, which I think is awesome. For more information about Aayla Secura, check out the fansite (address in my sig).

I hope somebody finds this information useful!

Hey, I just got ROP3. This comic is great! I've just read it through.... the story is awesome and the artwork is fantastic. Especially the Aayla art! Quin looks cool as well of course, but Aayla really is the star of this comic. She comes of age in this story, and really matures a lot. There is more I could say, but won't, since I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't read it yet. Let me leave it at this - it seems that she has become a powerful and wise Jedi. She seems to be a great warrior!!

Basically, make sure you get this comic, because it is great!!

[Feel free to reply and discuss!! If you don't want to discuss this here, you can always come over to my Aayla Secura fansite (address in my signature) and discuss it on our forum dedicated to Aayla]

Aayla Secura features in the new Sith Rising game, where she has a card. The picture shown on the card is one of the famous promo shots of her. This is a picture of it :

Yes O-B-Gates, it's true she is very physically appealing. However, I feel there is more to her character than her mere appearance. You might enjoy the comics she appears in. I don't know whether you have read them, but they are great. The artwork is truely incredible, and the stories and intriguing and fun aswell.

Aayla is a great and powerful Jedi and it was awesome that GL included her in the EPII. She was the first EU character to appear in a Star Wars movie style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif Check out my fansite to Aayla Secura if you would like more information on the comics she is in, plus pics and character bio etc.
