Seems to be little grey area in people's choices in regards to Jacen.

Yes, I have 100% of the vote! Seriously, I think the title Invincible means that everyone will throw everything at Caedus, and he'll end up victorious in the end, all opposition eliminated. Jaina and Ben will still live, but Luke will die. I'm calling it. And this is where the next novel series begins...

For me, the most realistic thing would be no redemption for Jacen but he's still killed by Jaina. He's not like Vader in that he questions some of his choices and acknowledges that he's been manipulated into the Dark Side. Jacen is just plain bad.
However, going by previous novels, I think they might push the redemption angle and either rehabilitate him, or have him repent at the moment of his death. *yawn* I keep thinking about what Gotab tells Jaina: that she has to kill her brother because she loves him. But him still believing in what he's doing.
So my vote goes to killing him while still cracking evil!

Redemption before death as this series has rehashed so many existing stories. This will be the next to show he was just like his grandfather.

Is the question truly what should happen, or what we think will happen?
Either way, there are missing options.
Given his performance in the last volume, I'm inclined to think he will suffer a Wile E. Coyote-type fate (possibly taking his Uncle Fluke with him), totally clueless, in the most embarrassing Star Wars demise since Boba Fett became a Sarlacc snack. As to redeemed or not, the other characters probably won't even be sure.
What he should do is lightsaber himself, out of shame, for being such a doofus, and a discredit to his illustrious Sith ancestors.
