Ok I have a prefrence for strange literature so I thought i would have a go at making my own. Comments appreciated although i understand it might not be to everyones taste. Enjoy! :superhappy:

He hides in a pocket of sunlight. Banjul watches him through his little porthole window, although the kaleidoscope of colour reflecting from the water makes it harder to see him. But Banjul is a professional, he knows he must turn his head 45 degrees to the left and scrunch his eyes until the rays of light from the sun look like the little orange bits you get in the bottom of a rather fruity yogurt.

Banjul was not magically inclined. Nor were he or any of his associates insane. However, he was a rather perceptive boy, and tended to notice things that you or I would miss. This is how he got to know about the man which lives in the sky.

I must point out right away that this is not a religious metaphor, nor is it some kind of insight into a mysterious magical fantasy world which will later turn out to be inhabited by monsters and wizards. It is just something that this young boy of ten years old had spotted, and that we haven’t.

The boy doesn’t know much about the man in the sky, he doesn’t know his purpose, and he isn’t aware of any powers that this man has. I’m afraid I cannot tell you any more about the man in the sky than Banjul knows, which I am afraid is not a lot. I will only write what I think it’s interesting and relevant, and all you need to know about the man in the sky is that whenever our boy gets chance he looks at him. Not for any advice or guidance, just because he quite likes the idea of a man who lives in the sky. It seems so abnormal. Banjul likes that.

I’m sorry to retreat from this lovely sunny day on the sea (I am rather enjoying talking about Banjul) but I must give you some rather boring details about how this boy came to be on this ship. I don’t want you worrying about it and it detracting from the real story which happens next. I assure you it is much more interesting.

Banjul’s parents are called Rahall and Jane. They work as chefs on the very ship with the very porthole out of which Banjul has been gazing. They are not especially talented chefs. Although they like to think they are, and tend to get into lengthy discussions about soufflé. Those are the kind of people they are. Banjul is not like them, he is rather quiet and thoughtful.

Cool. Train of thought writing is fun, if that's what you're doing. I''ve writen some proper nonsense that way in the past.

Thats it, its experimental to me because in the past my stories have had to be very structured. So its fun to do something different
