okay, explanation

poster i made for a class last year, clone wars obviously

grievous was scanned in from a magazine, so i had to repaint him (took forever!) and then i made him transparent

the three clones in the middle were off the internet, and i made them too big, so they look weird

the top left clone was scanned in from the target animated series figures, didn't need to be repainted

the top left was also scanned in, but he looked good enough that he didn't need to be painted

the clone wars lettering was made w/ an external filter, and i think it came out fairly well, except wars was a little weird so it doesn't look straight

anywho, this is my background

you make the white part first, i just use the line tool

and then you go to layer, layer style, outer glow, then play with the numbers/colors until it looks how you want it to

here it is, the final beatles compilation thingy

so, the background is all of the album covers that have "clues" aboot paul's "death"

so, the list goes:
top right: yesterday and today; second cover (paul in trunk)
top middle: abbey road; it's hard to see, but it's there
top right: revolver; also kinda hard to see

bottom left: yellow submarine; cartoon cover
bottom middle: yesterday and today; original cover (butcher)
bottom right: magical mystery tour

over top of it all is the cover to "sgt peppers lonely hearts club band" which, supposedly, has the most "clues"

note: paul is faded, there's a "glass onion" (european coffin w/ glass top) behind him

that's all the info i can think of, and if you want to see all the "clues" and crap, do a google for "paul is dead"

Alls I have left to say is this:

Windows computers are nowhere near as unstable as people make them out to be, unless you have absolutely no idea what you're doing and crash the computer yourself. And besides, I do all my video editing/photoshop/3D modeling/gaming/no taxes/piracy on a computer I built myself, which really is quite satisfying. Oh, and you know what else? I haven't had a BSOD yet, and it's been two years. :)

The dock at the bottom is a signature of Mac as well as the Apple logo in the upper lefthand corner of the menubar. Plus if you look carefully you can see the harddrive icon says "Macintosh HD" :)

LOL... I don't because it makes them so small and cramped... but at the same time, I like having quick access to every program at my fingertips, so I endure it :)

Currently mine is this, (it's a wallpaper I made today for my Art Thread Celebration [1000 posts in my art thread :happydance:] so it's in there but I have it too.) But I think that if I make a Celebration Han wallpaper I'll change it to that. :)

And I always reshuffle my desktop icons around so that it balances with the wallpaper. :ohwell:
