Favorite Scene

I have many favorites but one in particular is in ROTJ and its one of my least favorite Star Wars movies.
Its when Luke is standing on the platform before being shoved
into the pit and he does the flip and gets the Lightsaber and he looks at it like its his best friend for a second and goes Jedi on everyone.

That is a brilliant scene, Luke almost single handidly taking on Jabba's barge. My favourite scene is the throne room scene in ROTJ. There are three great bits in it: where Luke back-flips onto the platform and suddenly sees the good in Vader "i feel the conflict within you..." Also when Vader threatens to turn his sister, Luke goes mental and the music sets in. Lastly when Luke tells the emperor "you've failed your highness, i am a jedi, like my father before me." Brilliant.

My two favorite scenes are

1 - The fight between Darth Maul, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan. That was just awesome.

2 - The Luke vs. Vader duel in Return of the Jedi. The music there was soul-wrenching (for lack of a better term), and there was a lot more going on than just fighting.

My favorite scenes are....................

1. The scene in ESB where we see the back of Vader's head.

2. When Han is placed in carbonite.

3. When Luke defeats Vader in ROTJ, and Palps' following wrath, basically all the scenes in Death Star Throne Room.

4. I just love the ending scene of AOTC with all the clonetroopers massing and loading there ships to go into battle.

5. Anakin vs. Dooku was short, but that little bit with them swinging their lightsabers over the heads in the dark, the glowing light on their faces was just stunning.

6. The cave on Dagobah is another great scene.

7. The Cantina

8. I love when on the Death Star Han chases after the stormtroopers only to turn to and run, Chewie's reaction was classic.

9. The visuals of Naboo at the end of AOTC were gorgeous, believe it or not, all of the scenery including the rainbow was real.

my all time favorite is when the jawas zap R2. I love the way he screams.

another great scene for me is when Luke asks Ben about his dad. Ben sort of steels himself for a response, knowing he has to lie to him. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/duel.gif

The duel between Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker in Empire was quite good, I think.

The BEST scene has to be the scene where Yoda arrives on Luke Skywalker's campment in Empire and does like if he was mad.

Many scenes with Alec Guiness were very good, too.

Ben didn't lie to Luke. He just left some things out of his story.

My favorite scene is the duel between Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker in Cloud City. The fight is cool, the lighting and setting (with all the steam) are awesome, and the psychological duel between Luke and Vader is great.

Howabout that one where they're searching the millenium falcon, and the commander outside farts. Vader is behind him and he says "I sense something... something I have not felt since..."

My favourite scene is the one in Episode 1 in the Senate chanmber. I like it because it is like the only scene where Amidala seems smart and regal. However, my other favourite scene is in Episode 2 where Dooku and Yoda are fighting and bouncing off the walls and that is cool!

One great scene I really enjoyed... was in the Senate during episode II. It was very very powerful.

When Palpatine stands up, and says "It is with great reluctance that I have agreed to this calling. I love Democracy. I love the Republic. The power you give me I will lay down when this crisis has obeited... and as my first act with this new authority... I will create a Grand Army of the Republic... to counter the increasing threats of the separitists..."

The music was just right, and it foreshadows just about everything. It was great.

My fave movie scenes:
1. Obi-Wan fights solo with Darth Maul. I like when you see the look of hatred in his eyes when after he first sees Qui-Gonn get sabered. Then he goes berserk and fights Darth Maul.
2. In AOTC when Jango fires the dart into Zam. Jango is such a bad man... (meaning he awesome)
3. In AOTC when Dooku slices off Anakin's arm (yeeeesssss, I hate that kid)

I could probably mention my five favourite scenes from each movie, there's so many great ones to choose from! But I'll just say my top 3!

1. The fight between Vader and Luke, ESB.
2. The throne room scene in ROTJ, especially the part when Luke tells the Emperor he'll never turn to the Dark Side.
3. When Obi-Wan fights Darth Maul in TPM. It is just such an amazing fight to watch!

In ANH when Luke is having dinner with Owen and Beru and he casually mentions 'Ben Kenobi', the look that Beru flashes to Owen is priceless.

Now, I don't know what they have against Kenobi, but I bet it's a doozey!

Its got to be the Death Star run from ROTJ, Wedge, Lando and Nien Numb are truly the real heros of the rebellion.

i liked all the big duels andfight scenes as well, but my favorite parts are in the Empire Strikes Back, and includes baasically any of the interaction between Han And Leia. not quite all one scene I know, but i felt that they all need to be included although the one at the beginning when Han declares his intention to leave the rebellion and they talk as they go down the corridor is way up there on the list.
