I really love the Star Wars alphabet game, and have decided to see if another version will catch on: Lord of the Things / stuff created by Tolkien. Going along with DM's idea from the sw alphabet game, please include images if you like!

We have always closed these in the past, since we are a SW board. But since the board is half dead these days, go for it.

hmm... i thought it would be ok in the word play section, didn't mean for it to be out of the realm of interest.

This is in the "NonSW Only" bit, maybe there could be a wordplay bit for SW stuff? Although that might mean extra work for the mods, and I'd rather they were posting than working 'cos they're all so nice, so scrap that idea.

I think we will have to skip X, as i can't think of a :censored: thing from Tolkien that starts with this letter. No entries in my guide to middle earth dictionary (not that i have one of those!). Anyone got an X? Otherwise....

There's...

Kementári (Yavanna)
Khand (home of the Variags)
Khazâd and Khazad-dûm (The Dwarves and their great mansion)
Khuzdul (the Dwarvish language)
(The) Kine of Araw
Kingsfoil (athelas)
Kinslaying (at Alqualondë)
Kûd-dûkan and Kuduk, the untranslated names of the Rohirrim for the Hobbits, and of the Hobbits for themselves.
And that's not even considering that most of the names that begin with "C" were originally spelled by Tolkien with a "K".
