Mad about "Mad about Star Wars"

MAD about Star Wars: Thirty Years of Classic Parodies, by Jonathan Bresman. I also found a copy of this on Tuesday, and laughed myself silly thumbing through it last night. It is 10^10 times the book Death Star is. Better written, more entertaining, charmingly illustrated, and a laugh riot, deliberately so: if there's a laugh riot anywhere in Death Star, I have to assume it's unintentional.

The feature beginning on page 130 is particularly amusing, "A Day in the Life of George Lucas." :yoda:

149 pages, excluding the acknowledgments and author bio. And almost every one a classic. There's commentary in the margins, a foreword by Lucas, covers, fold-ins (with the resulting image on the back of the page so you don't have to crease up the book), and many other items, going all the way back to the first Mad send-up of ANH back in 1978. It's a hoot.
