I could have sworn I had seen a thread about this book somewhere before, but couldn't find it.

Anyway, I guess most of you have heard of this book before, it is a retelling of the six movies from Darth Vaders PoV.

Though, I thought this was a book in the making, to be released in the future sometime, so I was kinda surprised to find out that it has been released already. Unfortunately not in paperback yet.

So has anyone picked it up yet? Any thoughts?

Great book, which incorporates much EU-lore from other sources!!! I have yet to read it completely, but browsing through it made me very happy!!! And it looks great!!! (It has been out for over a month now...)

Is it a kiddie novel?

Yep, but it's a quite good read, though (from what I've read, that is): some scenes are expanded upon, especially Vader's reaction to the death's of Owen and Beru Lars is non-kiddie-like!!!!

Perhaps I worded it badly (Junior novel is perhaps more appropriately). Sounds interesting!

Yeah it is a Young Reader (or whatever it's called), but I still think it sounds interesting.,

Maybe this one will be the story I've longed for. I'm usually not a fan of "junior readers" books, but then again the first half of Vader's story he is a bloody Kid. So something geared that way makes a sort of sense.

I'll wait for the paperback, I enjoy staying a few years behind the curve.
