Tying in all of the four comics into one big story, it is going to be one hell of an awesome storyline.

But I feel on the other hand that tying all the comics together is just a way to get people buying all four series' of comics, I currently only read two of them (KOTOR and Legacy) as Dark times and Rebellion look like the same stories all over again.

Yes, you may have to buy some issues of both Dark Times and Rebellion to complete the Vector storyline, but maybe you will find the Vector-issues exciting enough to try another story-arc of DT and/or Rebellion (both great comics which are still trying to find their way... )

The occasional Vader-panel in Dark Times is, for me, reason enough to buy the comics (and, euh, the fact that I'm a completist... :innocent:)

Ok this sounded very interesting, gotta catch up on my Republic reading so I can read all the Empire so I can start on Rebellion.

I thought you already had all those comics....

So, what does everyone think about Vector #1?

Yep, your typical introduction-story (in which certain events have to be explained for the new readers). But the fate of the constable was a surprise to me... :)

Being the Sith fan, I loved the 'Eye of Horak-Mul' and 'Epistle of Marka Ragnos' and Jori Daragon's Amulet items that were mentioned. It's good to have those Tales of the Jedi references.

it has potential, though the Rakhouls being controlled will dominate the story, for the kotor segment anyway.

Anyone hear dof that talisman/amulet before? Or did they create it for the Vector story?

Nope, the Muur Talisman is new (although Sith Talismans did appear in the original TotJ comics and the TotJ Companion from West End games)...

I was hoping for more than just the single pic to start the cross over!

The issue mentioned that the ancient Sith Lords tore each other apart trying to find the Muur Talisman, which seems to imply that it was lost at some point before 5000 BBY. Perhaps it's a lot older than that....

Cool, all we need now is Dr. Henry Jones Jr....:w00t:

So what do people think of Vector so far?

I found that it started a bit slow, but at the end of it's KotOR run I thought it started a bit better. And it certainly started with a bang in Dark Times.

For what it's worth... As a fan of the KOTOR comic I have to say I'm glad Vector is over. It means we can return to art done by people who understand the difference between Human and Rodian facial anatomy.

The art for the KOTOR Vector issues was so bad it made me want to not follow the cross over to the other books.

I think that's the new KotOR artist though.

As the first thing I thought when I read the Vector in Dark Times was "Yes, great art this time, not silly crashdummies"

Actually it's not, or alt least there was a stern talking too if it is. He art in the first post-Vector issue is muuuuuuuch better.
