What if SW was real?

I used search function for about one hour and decided to start this thread. I hope it wasn't posted before.

This is another "what if" question, but a special one which was one of my childhood dreams. Let's say, you wake up one day and see that your parents are watching the news with scared faces. You listen to the news and learn that a droid army calling themselves "Trade Federation" are forming a blocade around our good old earth and want to invade our planet. The only thing that is stopping them from doing it, is the galactic senate which earth leaders have never heard of.

What I am saying is, what if everything related with Star Wars were real and we were to find ourselves in the middle of an intergalactic battle between the good and the dark side? What if a very close friend of yours turned out to be a possible Jedi or a smuggler with a big bounty on his head. What if one day you were visited by a Jedi Knight wishing to train you or a princess in desperate need for your help?

Tell us what would you do? Would you join the Alliance or the forming Empire? Would you be very excited or very afraid? Would you choose to be Sith or a Jedi?

We do have war and sometimes if feels like a clone war because we keep making the same mistakes over and over.
We do have separatists.

We do have rebels.
We do have a leader who says you’re either with us or against us.
We do have brother fighting against brother.
We do have liberty dying a little each day.
And we do have a bad feeling about this.

Well, if I was fortunate enough to be gifted with the force (highly unlikely but you never know) I'd learn how to use Force Lightning and/or Force Choke and :censored: up people that have crossed me or just tick me off. That would be so much fun... Yeah, I'd join the sith; it's where all the cool people are.

Some of you would choose the Rebellion, some will choose to serve the Empire and Chotic Naturls would choose to be smugglers, but how would you have done it?

I mean let's say you are a dentist or a high school teacher now. Tomorrow you wake up and see that the world is in the middle of an intergalactic war and you have choose a side. How would you do it? Would you just sit at home and hide? Would you try to continue your normal life while you secretly search for ways to join the party you want to?

And let's assume your country's goverment decided to help the Empire while you were supporting thr Rebellion or vice a versa. How would you reacted?

Hiding in France wouldn't be an option either, since they would just surrender. Or sign a supply contract with the empire and get rich.

It's simple, I'd practice my jedi patience, knowing a fully trained jedi would turn up on my doorstep since they always find pathetic lifeforms. :nahnah:

Then I could join the rebellion since that is the where the jedi would be headed via the nearest Death Star. :wink:

Well chaotic naturals are people who can not be called good or bad. They have their own truths and they only live to see the next day. If a deal is a good one they work for the good side, if the bad side pays more they work for the bad side. However they have limits. I mean you can not find chaotic natural assasins.

Han Solo in "A New Hope" is a perfect example of Chaotic Natural except the final scene where he comes and rescues Luke of course. I do not know if you are into RPG, but this is something I remember from those games.

ok ya I wasn't wondering about the chaotic natural part but I was confused by when you said to "join our gang of smugglers" I wasn't quite sure if you meant like some group or an RPG or w/e but if its an RPG as you mentioned tell me the title and I will join

I have created my own "character", Fanggo Jet. Haven't made a picture of him but hes sorta a white and green version of Jango. He has one of those robes (a green one) and a jetpack that's so weak it only makes you lift a meter off the ground and makes you faster. He "kicks" more than he "shoots" . I am not both-handed so he only has one gun (mini gun :D) and a short lightsaber (but not enough to make him a jedi.)

I would like to join the empire for a while and send some people who annoy me to a mining faciliy on a remote planet as prisoners.

Well, frankly speaking, I would not be able to stay with one party for much long, either. I mean, Empire is good, but too formal, Rebellion is exciting, but too good to be true. Therefore I would be a smuggler, working for anyone that pays better.

Come on, people. Haven't you ever thought about this? I remember making plans for joining the rebellion with my friends when we were kids. We used sit outside our summer house under the balcony (cause that was the only cool place) and discuss this for hours. We prayed for it. Don't laugh at me, these were about 25 years ago, when we did not have computers at home and internet wasn't even heard of.

Since the beginning I wanted to be a smuggler, like Han. My best friend wanted to be a stormtrooper. There was another boy who wanted to be an X-Wing pilot. Strange, but none of us wanted to be a Jedi.

Exactly. Most of us were fascinated with Han, Lando and even Yoda. One of us wanted to be Yoda. He actually looked a little like him with his huge ears. Anyway, at that age flying with an X-Wing or the Millenium Falcon seemed more exciting than making mind tricks and seeing with your visor closed.

Some of us were facinated with Luke but I was a young girl back then. I thought of all the interesting jedi tricks we might do together and fly XWings as well.
