Kind of a "duh" moment, but the folks at Wired have this little bon mot for us (http://www.wired.com/medtech/health/news/2007/05/anakin_syndrome)...Anakin Skywalker was most likely suffering from several personality disorders.

It's interesting, but at the same time, you mean to tell me that the dude who chokes out every subordinate he ever had at any given opportunity has problems? Noooo, you don't say. :D

Well, I saw a documentary about mental illness and it said that it is believed that Adolph Hitler was bi-polar. The narrator commented on the irony that it's possible that WWII and the Holocaust may have been prevented with a good prescription of Lithium. I wonder if it would have worked on Vader, too.
