Eminem is the Shizzow.
His old-school stuff is the best. New-school is ok, but not as angry or psycho.

Well... the question should be addressed this way...
Do I like Eminem? No.
Do I like some of his music? Yes.
I think he is brilliantly talented, misguided yes and hateful, sure. But he is very talented...
Do I like him as a person? Not even slightly. Do I enjoy a couple of his songs? Yes I do. "Without Me", "Lose Yourself", "Cleaning out my closet", "Real Slim Shady", etc.

New school or Old school, whatever you call it, I find it rubbish.
No, it's Trash school, yeah that's what it is. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/eh.gif
And no, not trash metal! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif
I can stand a few of his songs. His first album was funny, but that's yesterday's news. He's just riding the waves of all the wanna be white kids who listen to edited out songs on the pop radio station.

I can't stand him. I think he needs to be taken somewhere and gotten rid of. I would like to run over him with a Mercedes.

I have alot of respect for people who have alot of criticism thrown at them. He seems to deal with it pretty well. He hasn't comitted Cobain yet.

I didn't think there was so much hate for Eminem. Alot of it I think is unjustified. He is pretty damn popular in Oz.

"Haily Jade...I love that name,
Love that tattoo...what's that say?
'rot in pieces' aww that's great... "

Well, his song "Two of Us" (something like that) is where I draw the line. It's almost a parody of Will Smith's song to his son... but in Em's song he is talking to his young daughter about how they are killing her mother. It's completely twisted. I don't think you even joke about that... I understand his hatred for this woman (that allegedly he's now getting back together with... HUH?) but consipring with your infant daughter to kill the mom, put her in the trunk, and dump her in the lake??? This girl is gonna grow up twisted if she ever hears that song. The lyrics are just awful. I know he didn't conspire with his daughter... but it's just not appropriate.

I don't consider U2 "rock". Rock is hard, abrasize and rude. That's how it's meant to be. When someone like Bono and his posse come up and start jumping around to some weird tune... I deem it "hippie." Plus, I think his music has died. I think they're probably great guys and everything, but I can only stand about 5 seconds of their music. Awards? I couldn't really care any less. If you think about it, they're are millions and millions of bands out there. Out of that many, I can safely bet there is at least a few who could rock U2's world.

In the two decades since the release of their first album, Boy, U2 has established itself as one of the most adventurous and groundbreaking bands in the history of rock and roll. During that time, U2 has evolved from a virtually unknown, punk-influenced group of young Dubliners into a band that sells millions of albums and fills sports stadiums around the world. They have achieved the rare feat of being both critically acclaimed and commercially successful. They have always followed their own muse, never bowing to trends or popular tastes. Their membership has remained consistent from the start. Their legions of fans are passionate, and so is their music.
This was taken from the "Rock and Roll" Hall of fame website, style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif it's not what you consider rock or what you don't, things are what they are, U2 is one of the best if not the best rock band out there, you can label it whatever you want but they will still be a Rock band, and if you don't consider songs like "Sunday Bloody Sunday" , "Bullet the blue Sky" or "Exit" hard rock then what the hell do you consider them?..oh yeah you probably have never heard them and please name ONE band that could rock u2's world LOL

About U2:
Okay, I don't want to turn this into a huge U2 debate, so this will be my last reply.
it's not what you consider rock or what you don't, things are what they are
Yes, it is what I consider rock. We all have different opinions on what rock is... (obviously, because I don't consider U2 rock)
if you don't consider songs like "Sunday Bloody Sunday" , "Bullet the blue Sky" or "Exit" hard rock then what the hell do you consider them
I haven't heard those songs. U2 scared me away with "Beautiful Day" and a few others that I can't even remember the title. I don't listen to every single track by a certain artist. I listen to a few, and if I can't stand them (as was the case with U2) I turn it off.
please name ONE band that could rock u2's world LOL
It depends on what your definition is of "rockin someones world." I have a list of people who could kill U2... in my opinion. That's what all of this is anyway: yours and my opinion. In your mind, you think U2 is the greatest. In mine: they suck. The following is a list of people who I think could destroy U2:
The Distillers
The Hives
Dropkick Murphy's
The D4
Silverchair
The White Stripes
Although I must admit... "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me" was the least painful out of U2's stuff.
