We've all seen the Master Card commercials. A list of things and what they cost, and that one all important thing that amounts to Priceless. What about the things in your life, or the things you encounter in your daily events? I have written quite a few scenarios as Master Card commercials in the past, and when I find them I will repost them here. For now, however, here is a small something that impressed upon me today, which I then thought about in this format which I've mentioned.
So feel free to add your own. But I ask that you make them serious, and make them meaningful.
I once wrote a message about winning and not giving up, even when life made you feel like a loser; that all of us are winners deep down, and once a winner, always a winner. I printed it out a couple of months ago at work and passed them out to some people. They have not been mentioned since.
-Writing a message about determination and believing in oneself: $0.0
-Printing out the message at work: $0.0
-Passing out said message to co-workers, unsure if it impressed them: $0.0
-Noticing today that one of your co-workers has your message on the wall of her cubicle in a prominant place for her to notice it and be reminded of the message every day she starts her job: Priceless.
Writers write for a reason.
And when their words grow,
It's a bountiful season.
