by advance, please pardon me about my bad english.
This is the first time i come on an non-french forum about starwars. I'm looking for fans who like the project i gonna tell you.
This very Big project is to re-write the prequel like it sould be. No i'm not crazy :nahnah: but I have decided to erase of my brain all what lucas have said or create for the prequel after i have seen it.
First, the story of this fan-trilogy will be absolutly different. The Clone Wars, in a ambiance more tragic, will be totally change et will start immediatly in the first episode. The reason, cause and form of the war will change too ( for exemple : no combat droid and their ISC, but a real enemy faction helped by the powerful mandalorian knight).
Then, all personnage, planet and ship create for the prequel will be erased or changed.
Introduction of the Clone Wars :
It is written in the books of Thimoty Zahn that the Clones Masters were stopped during the clone wars. For me this is the proof that the old ideas about the prequel said that the clones were fought against the republic. So it will be the first stage of this fan fiction.
And more, I think the best way to introduce the clonage in the prequel is to make it prohibit in the galaxy. We could say that a long time ago a terrible war with clone soldiers on the each side have destroy the galaxy. After the end of this massacre, the republic and the jedi have forbidden the clonage forever and destroy all technology able to make clones. *
But of course when something could serve the evil, it reappears. And millenium after, in the greatest secrecy, a brilliant scientific a little bit crazy and paranoiac will re-discover the old technical of clonage. He will rise a grand empire of crime far from the infuence of the republic, helped by his knowlegde of clonage.
This man gonna become one of the most powerful Clone Masters during the war incoming. This charater will be important in the fan fiction (He will probably die in the second episode...).
The empire of this man was strong but not enough to compete with the republic. The Clone Masters during the Clone wars were not the decision maker but just the troop supplier. But now, who was their customer ? Of course the Mandaloriens could be this ennemy but i think it is not the good solution. For me, at this period for starwars, the Mandaloriens have not the "breadth" of a faction able to destroy the republic. In the past, They have tried (Kotor I) but during the Clone Wars, i think mandaloriens could be use simply as elite mercenaries specialized in jedi elimination. So what about the enemy who attack the republic ? I need your help to create them ;) maybe a faction of the old republic, far from the "core worlds" wishing independence.
The old republic :
The infrastructure of the old republic is appreciably different that which we saw in the prequel. The military forces are composed of fleet belonging each one to the systems of the republic. So there were no federal forces controlled by the high-council. For example, Alderaan has its own fleet, directed by Bail Organa. All these fleets were indirectly control by the senate but the commander of a fleet has the right to discuss the orders.
This configuration of the military forces was thought during the creation of the old republic for prevent the abuse of power of the governement. Give all the power of the galaxy to one man is the path of a despotic reign.
In the episode III, Palpatine will have enough influence and forces for order the annexation of all these fleets and create a federal fleet at his command.
The majority of the systems will obey and deliver their fleet to the orders of the president but someone, like the alderaan's fleet will refuse.
Alderaan :
When Palpatine will order the annexation of all fleet of the galaxy, bail organa will front a terrible choice ; lose the control of his fleet and make itself responsible for the horrors made by Palpatine or make the war against the whole galaxie. Even if some systems guaranteed their support in the rebellion, this new war would have been a massacre. During a despaired discution with the general kenobi, Bail will found a solution more acceptable.Certain that palpatine wanted to prevent attacking a symbol as large as was alderann, he proclaimed his planet free and peaceful and banished all the weapons of his world and destroyed his own fleet.
The importance of Alderaan has been reduced in the prequel and i think it is a great error. During the old republic, alderaan was a great et strong nation. It was having one of the most powerful fleet in the republic. This information is writen in the Star-wars Myth and magic. More, it is written too that Obi-wan Kenobi will save Alderaan of a great threat. And he will be probably promoted general after this action. Put this thing in the first episode could be a good strategie. By the command of Palpatine, the enemy will pursue Bail Organa, his main competitor for the presidency, who wish to return to alderaan. It will failed. So the enemy will attack the world of alderaan. Anakin skywalker and Obi-wan kenobi will rescue the planet and the viceroi by organizing defenses and taking commandment of the fleet of alderaan. End of the first episode. Obi-wan became a general and suggest to Anakin to start his formation of jedi.
[ There is something else i'm thinking to introduce at the whole beginning of the first episode ; maybe on board the presidential spaceship, some betrayers will make penetrate an armed group which will take control of the ship and kill the president of the old republic. ( could it be that these soldiers are mandaloriens ? it could be great). ]
The Jedi Order :
The jedi order will be absolutely different too. First, the number of jedi will be reduced for two reason. 1 : The jedi have to keep something mystic and make them not many could reinforce this feeling. 2 : I always think the jedis were not many at this period of StarWars, and that is maybe why Palpatine had feel his time coming. And for explain that, Obi-wan could say to anakin what happened to Revan and Malak (Kotor I & II) ( or anyone else ) and told in conclusion : The Jedi Order prefers to keep a small number of jedi instead of a big because there is less conversion to the dark side.
So the first draw of the prequel is :
the first episode :
Assassination of the president of the old republic. It makes a scandal in the whole galaxy. The senate will probably elect a group of five politician to the head of the republic, for give the time that a new president is elected. Palpatine and Bail Organa will be in this group.
Anakin will meet his future wife ( will they get married or not in episode II ? i dont know for the moment)
Then the new enemy attack alderaan (the target is clearly bail organa). (this invader could be also a faction of the old republic wishing independance) Anakin and obi-wan save alderaan and they realize that the enemy uses the technology of the cloning. Bail organa is safe.
In the second episode :
Obi-wan initiated Anakin to the force between the first episode and the second. And anakin learns quickly.
At Coruscant, Palpatine is elected president of the republic. His first action will be to convince the senate to build a federal fleet for reinforce the forces of the republic and to carry a decisive blow to the enemy. The senate will accept this proposition and Palpatine will place his friend, the Admiral Tarkin at the commander of this new fleet.
At the middle of this episode, Anakin Skywalker will disobey to his master and will put itself in search of something, a quest very important for him ... I dont know more but this quest will be extremely important. A revenge? a truth ? I just know it wont be a talisman like an holocron or the Kaiburr Crystal.
Before (with obi-wan) or after (alone) anakin escaped to start his quest, he will pass the test of the jedi (like Luke at dagobath). He will front an sith lord with a long black dress. After he has killed his unreal opponent, it face will appear... the face of his master.
A great battle for destroying the Clone Masters is coming. I dont know when this battle will come. Mandalorian knight have reappairs during the campaign of the republic against the Clone Masters. Many Jedi have died by their hands but they seem to have taken heavy losses them-selves.
At the end of this episode, the Clone Masters seem to be stopped. Anakin pursues alone his own quest. Obi-wan has maybe tried to find him but he failed.
In the episode III :
Palpatine suggests to the senate to repeal the law anti-clonic and build a large troop of republic clone. This proposal will make the effect of a bomb. Immediately the jedis will pose an ultimatum at the senate: if the senate accepts this proposal, Jedis will withdraw conflict. They will try to convince the senate to not reproduce the errors of the past *.
They will try to prove that the creation of an army of clone would be disproportionate compared to the enemy forces. In fact, it seems the admiral tarkin and his new fleet makes terrible reprisal against the citizens of worlds of the enemy far from 'core worlds' . Why were they still fighting ?
In response, Palpatine will say front of the senat that the jedi are weak, or something like that.
Palpatine will organize its own false assassination by the hand of the jedi.
After this, he will return to the senat and order the arrestation or the assassination if rebellion of all the jedi.
I have got many more details, about the episode III also, but i will stop here for today :yoda: , just to know what you think of all this
