SW: Underworld (Characters & Discussion)

(I wanted something gritty with a fair bit of creative control, I also wanted to try and do something different - we had something similar last year, but it kinda sunk - this is kinda mafia inspired, as some of you will probably notice)

It is 18 BBY, the Marcellus crime family, otherwise known as the Corzis Nostra, seeks to return to the galactic underworld. With a new, ruthless leader and a return to the ancient heirachy that had prevailed before their downfall, they aim to become a power to be reckoned with amongst the chaotic nature of the emerging Galactic Empire...

The Corzis Nostra is structured so as to prevent the highest leaders from incrimination, as such, at the top there is the Réglereur - the ruler - they make all the key decisions, on advisory of the Alités - the second in command and the Réalités - a lawyer who protects the organisation through obtaining false warrants, court orders, etc and advises on how to keep things sound so prosecutors have nothing to get them with.

Below these three are the Oinalités - essentially captains, who are in charge of a regime of ten operatives from the organisation. Operatives rarely come into contact with the three leaders, nor do they receive orders directly from any of them. Below operatives are the Oine - these members are turned to as scapegoats and cheap assasins and saboteurs by the operatives, and this is the highest rank non-humans can reach in the Corzis Nostra.

Bio: Ruthless, cold and cunning, Solange was born into an exiled family who only ever talked about how brilliant life had been way back when. A middle child, she was disillusioned and distant from her siblings and parents, who she saw as useless pigs. She murdered them in their sleep. Leaving the outer rim, she began searching down and contacting old members of her grandfathers regime, socialising with unsatisfied members of Black Sun. Within a year she had formed an intricate heirachy based organisation that was a spectre to the rest of the galaxy. People didn't leave Black Sun to join the Corzis Nostra, they disappeared. While many were doubtful when they first met her - they soon fell into order. Patient and ambigous, Solange gained status amongst the senators during the clone war, senators led her into contact with businesses, which led her into contact with corrupt businessmen. By the time Palpatine seized power she had half of Coruscant answering at her call. A year later, as initial doubts began to sink in over Palpatine's empire, she saw her opportunity.

Bio: A prestigious and galaxy famous criminal defence attorney, Emangus Eclipse is known for having lost only 5 cases in his career - he represented the Trade Federation during their supreme court trials following the invasion of Naboo, which conveniently was presided over by a panel of judges who conveniently had received millions of credits a month before the trials. He was a secret member of the Corzis Nostra for his entire career, and when Solange finally hunted him down he was more than willing to return at her price.

Concept: You guys will play the soldiers under a/two Oinalites, I'm looking for one or two senior members to be Oinalites. Besides those two members, players can be anything from soldiers in regimes to outsiders to imperial agents or lost Jedi. However if nobody becomes soldiers in a regime I may ask people to change class.

History: Born on Obulette, the capital world of House Mecetti of the Tapani Sector, Xan was the younger brother of High Lord Bodé Leobund XI. Growing up rich wasn't always easy, not when living on Obulette. Poor people always blamed the High Lord, Xan's father, for everything. Bad weather being an example.
When older, Xan joined the Saber Rakes, a group of young nobles practicing fencing and dueling with lightfoils, and he quickly climbed the ladders and became the leader of the whole group, having defeated their preivous leader in duel. But after the New Order established, the newly formed ISB became nervous about the sight of young influential nobles walking around with varients of the Jedi's iconic weapon, so they forced the Saber Rakes to turn over their weapons and dissolve the group. Xan wasn't happy with this, so he left on his ship, with his best friend Clod.

I know that the Saber Rakes didn't exist at this time, but what the heck...

History: Born on Coruscant to a wealthy family, Jamor quickly learned the benefits of having friends in high places... and also the penalties. After watching a friend's wealthy family get murdered right in front of him(he was hiding in a closet), Jamor realized the dangers of trusting anyone. This was especially evident when his brother tried to sell him for drugs (which was a fatal mistake). After that, he started prowling the street, making connections with some of the city's more shady people. He always seemed to blend in with the crowd, which was an asset. At the age of 12, he found a lightsaber in an abandoned alley, and began training at once. Slowly, he started getting involved with the the local markets, but eventually he left after being forced out of business (and nearly killed) by a competitor's firm. During this event, his wife was killed and his 15 year old son was maimed to the point where one of his arms was replaced with a bionic one. He does not seek for revenge, but if he ever comes across Delve Fervor, he will make him pay dearly. He is extremely well connected and is trained in martial arts, especially with melee weapons.

He and his two friends Manny and Chi Chi took down a local buissness man who had killed a local dons brother for three ''green cards'', a pass card to the camp. A roit was staged, and the Buisness man ran through a tent, while Manny and Chi Chi frightened the man, Elad waited outside the tent. The second the man was in the open, Elad took a knife (Illegally sharp) and swiped at the mans wind pipe as he walked past. He and his friends took the cards and joined the police force under false names. He headed off to an apartment, where they were to bust a gang meet. His new partner, sunni, brought along Manny and Chi Chi. Serov and Sunni went inside the house, to be met at blaster point and took prisoner. He was held in front of the bath, while Sunni was droped into boilng water and two Electrical leads were dropped in the bath. Then Manny and Chi Chi ran in as Serov was about to have the treatment. The gang fought back, as Serov attacked one and strangled the other with his elbows, as his hands were tied. Manny was knocked out cold, as the Gang bss ran through a gap in the wall he had just made with his Vibro saw. Elad gave chase, which ended in the street. The boss put his weapon down and surrendered, but Elad shot him any way. The following police investigation uncovered them, but they had ran already, and went into the underworld....

He decided to leave the Order at the age of 17. through his travels around the galaxy, he built himself 2 lightsabers and learned to use explosives, as well as various blasters. by 22 he had joined a group of mercenaries and started to learn the trade. using his Force sensitivity, and training, he was able to complete missions that others had considered foolish and too risky. His notoriety for his abilities to complete difficult missions quickly rose him through the ranks. After more than a few attempts on his life by jealous members of his group, he left. He decided to work for himself, and bought his starship for far less than the asking price of 100,000 credits. When asked how he did it, he simply replied 'I'm a good negotiator.'

Ok, the two new guys I introduced are NPCs that can be controlled by either me, Felix or 92. The one starting with L is a human member with equal ranking with everybody except 92, the one starting with M is a... Devaronian, and he is on equal rank with 92.
