The Living End are great... before they were popular, i saw them play live... they were the opening act for the Offspring... and they were better than them! lol... the next day, about 10,000 people in Adelaide went out, all trying to buy their single "Prisoner of Society"... it was awesome.

They've had some problems lately though... Chris Cheney was in a car crash, and they had to replace the drummer... but they're back on track now, which is good.

I'm wayyyyyyyy off topic. Which is bad.

Hey Jeianni, I recently returned from a long road trip down to Mexico and on the way we spent a day toasting in the Scorching Sun of Arizona. I was surprised to find that there were actually people livin down there . . . its friggin hot!!!! Up here in Cali, the weather's always sooo beautiful. . . and the people are pretty spoiled in terms of climate. How do you guys get accustomed to the sun? Is there like certain hours where you avoid stepping outside entirely? I mean, I didnt step out of the car unless I really had to.

That is two very diffrent languages.

Danish, Swedish and Norwegian are very similar, the Iceland language are a bit diffrent. More like very very old Norwegian.

I have no problem with the sun. But ALL sun ALL THE TIME can suck. I mean, when we stopped at Phoenix to spend the night, it was like 90 at 10 in the night! That's bad! We passed like three football stadiums in Phoenix and I was cruelly reminded that, since Realignment, the Cardinals and the 9ers will see each other twice every year. To play football in that weather most be the cruelest form of torture imaginable. Football Summer Camp is bad but the Pros most be horrible.

Hey Meche, I think the only thing worst about LA besides the sun would be the highway system over there. I could have swore that I read a Highway 15 North sign entering 215 East. INstead of heading north to San Jo, I was racin straight towards Las Vegas. My little detour cost the trip an extra 15 bucks on gasoline that I needed. HAhaha, how do you manage to stay sane drivin around in there?

Well to answer that, we have air conditioning :cool: . Our cars have A.C., our houses have A.C., if you don't, you fry! I'm completely used to hot weather because I was born and raised in Pheonix. Some people never get used to it. My boyfriend lived in Northern AZ, and then moved down here three years ago, he still wines like a baby about the heat. I thrive in 80-90 degree weather. If it gets anywhere near 70 or below I'll have a sweatshirt on. Anything higher than about 95 starts to make me uncomfortable, and 105 is pure, blazing, h***. Today it was 105 because we just had a monsoon storm, so it cooled down a little, but Saturday it was 112. Our highest temp. ever was two years ago at 124 degrees. Iraq holds the world record for 136. And yeah, people usually don't go out during the peak hours of heat. Not w/out A.C. anyways.

WHne it hits a dollar everyone goes spastic.... by the waythe amreican dollar is about twice ours so for evrey american dollar you get 57 australian cents or some thing like that. Fuel isn't a comodity in AUstralia its a neccesity i drive everywhere. IN 6 months i've already done 12,000 kilometers which is not to bad seeing that i live in the outer suburbs. A full tank for me is about 25 bucks maybe a lil more.

The letters are pronounced in Norwegian, not in English.
You know like a is pronounced ah and not ei like in English

B is pronunced (BE) in Norwegian and BI in English

It is hard to tell you by writing. It is easier to know the diffrent when you hear it.

We moderate the board discussions and keep the threads clean and organized, but we don't have access to the plugs and wires of this contraption. And most of the time if there is a loading speed problem, it is not the website but the server it is on who's fault it is. Thus, don't blame Vader either.
