Sonic, uh? I remember playing all the time, and I remember being very bad at it. I spend years trying to find out how to turn into "super sonic." I never did.

I know^! But the best part of the old Genesis and game gear Sonic games is the music.

I don't remember the music much... I just remember the "SEEEEEEEEGAAAAAAAAA" thing and the sound of the coins jumping out of my blue spiky head when I got killed :(

yeah, me too. Theyve actually collected all the Sonic games for Gamecube, XBOX, PS2, and other systems, and PSP and PS2 have an anthology of the very best Genesis games called Sega Genesis Colection, which is really worth getting.

Counter-Strike (any version)
The Metal Gear Solid Saga
Resident Evil (4 especially, but they all have their good points)
Any Super Mario Bros. game

uh, this is a thread for games I think are great AND are my favorite games. I completely agree with you on Resident Evil 4 (GC version), and yes the other games you listed truly are great, but theyre not among my favorites.
