Chapter 1 Intruder ALERT!

Oh this is just great! Thought aang running from the three psycho chics again ! we need to find a place safe where we cant be found as aang was thinking this images of the only place he had ever felt safe floated in his mind the southern air temple ! soon the four friends found a safe place to rest . aang pulled out the bison whistle and used it to summon appa and momo. Excitedly aang tells his friends about his idea “whats the southern air temple? “asked toph “oh toph it the most beautiful place in the world and its my home!” said aang “I guess it’s a good idea the firenation thinks its deserted “ said katara “then its settled” said sokka we leave immediately “ “oh yeah cried aang rushing over to appa and momo “guys were going home!!!!” the group finally made it to the temple by mid day “come on guys lets go to the sanctuary I want to show it to toph” said aang the four kids trudged up the winding staircase until they reached the top. “come her toph I want you to meat someone “said aang taking tophs hand and running it over the face of a statue “this is monk gyatsu and I guess I could call him my father” said aang “wow aang so this was your first teacher “asked toph “yep” said aang lets keep going “ they soon reached the sanctuary sokka examined the weapons that some of the statues were holding katara studied the water bending master avatars toph felt each statues face she could tell which were earth benders and aang stood in front of the statue of avatar roku. When toph heard footsteps approaching the sanctuary they all hide behind statues and waited to discover who the intruder was “fire bender” whispered sokka and this time he was not wrong!

Poppet! You know how I enjoy this show...this time...you get a chuckle for the idea, a smile for the story...but frowns for the format.... with your permission....

“Oh this is just great,” Aang thought, running from the three psycho chics again, “we need to find a place safe where we can’t be found!” Aang was remembering the only place he had ever felt safe, floating in his mind - The Southern Air Temple!

Soon the four friends found a safe place to rest. Aang pulled out the bison whistle and used it to summon Appa and Momo. Excitedly, Aang told his friends about his idea.

"What's The Southern Air Temple?" Asked Toph.

"Oh Toph, it's the most beautiful place in the world and its my home,” said Aang.

“I guess it’s a good idea then that the Firenation thinks its deserted," said Katara.

"Then its settled,” said Sokka we leave immediately!

"Oh yeah!" cried Aang, rushing over to Appa and Momo, “guys we're going home!!!!”

The group made it to the temple by midday.

"Come on guys lets go to the sanctuary! I want to show it to Toph” said Aang.

And the four kids trudged up the winding staircase until they reached the top.

"Come here Toph, I want you to meet someone," said Aang, taking Tophs hand and running it over the face of a statue.

Chapter 2 A Prisoner

They saw a girl with long brown hair and startling silver blue eyes she wore fire nation clothing and had dual swords at her side. Stepping from behind the statue aang takes his staff and points it at the girl.

“What are you doing here fire bender” he said in a threatening voice

startled the girl turned and ran out of the sanctuary

“catch her said aang I don’t want any more damage done to the temple”

the four friends split up aang to the sky sokka to the lower levels toph and katara took the upper levels. Using his glider aang flew to the top of the temple he flew around like a bird of prey until he finally saw her going into a dive he landed in front of her aang called out to the others as he closed in on the girl. toph and katara were the first to arrive without hesitation toph sunk the girl into the ground up to her shoulders leaving her hands underground.
“Who are you and what are you doing here asked aang

”please don’t hurt me I cant bend I am not with the fire nation “

releasing her toph kept her hands covered in dirt just in case she is a fire bender .

“ My name is Cole (pronounced coal)"

Chapter three a new recruit

“you look like your with the fire nation “ said sokka walking up behind the group

“but I am not I left the fire nation I do not believe in the war! Please let me go “ said Cole desperately

“why are you here ?” asked aang

"I heard of the air temples and thought I could live here for a while” she replied

“okay toph release her but stay ready in case she tries any thing “ said aang

“please avatar I am just a normal warrior I cant bend may I help fight for your cause?”

aang looked at her shocked to hear she wanted to help him and even more shocked that she would fight for him

“all right there is safety in numbers I guess we could trust you “ replied aang

“thank you avatar “said cole bowing

they all made there way down to camp sokka keeping a wary eye on there new recruit I don’t trust her one bit thought sokka but its nice to have another warrior in the group his thoughts were interrupted when he heard katara say

“Cole will you tell us a little about your self?”

“sure katara “ replied cole “my family has-
