Hey, guys. I figured that this would be the best place to post this, since this is the non-SW Fiction folder.
Back before I was writing short stories about guys getting shot on street corners, I spent three and a half years (February '03 to July '06) working on a massive piece of Fan Fiction based on the show 24. Specifically, the first season.
Here's the premise: In the sixth hour of the show, Jack Bauer was ordered to kill his partner, but quickly saved her by giving her a protective flak jacket. Sadly, she later murdered his wife. So the big question became: what if he had never given her that jacket? That's the premise for 24: Altered Universe. Eighteen episodes, all following from that simple question. It's a whole new look at the first season of the show.
For a taste, I've added the first few pages of the story to this post. If anyone's interested in reading the whole thing, I'll add the link to the complete work in a future post. Enjoy!
