ANH:

Outrider - its in the Special Edition, you see it flying away from Mos Eisely

Rebel Medium Transport - Was never in ANH, made its first appearance in ESB

thermal detonator - Its on the stormtrooper belts, its the white ball's on them. Made its first appearance in this film

T-16 skyhopper - Toy that Luke is playing with when C-3PO is taking an 'oil bath'. Made its first appearance in this film

ESB:

thermal detonator - Luke use's it to destroy the AT-AT Walker.

RotJ:

Dornean gunship - Its in the scene with a Blockade Runner in the forground and the DS2 in the background, its really small in the scene you only get a glimpse of it for just a few seconds. It was originally known as the ROTJ Background Ship. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Dornean_gunship

Tantive IV (Rebel blockade runners) - Seen with the Rebel Fleet

Rebel Medium Transport - Seen with the Rebel Fleet

T-16 skyhopper - In the celebration scenes that were added in the Special Addition of ROTJ, a few fly over the skies of Tatooine

Hope that helps you CJackson

The thermal det isn't a ball, actually, it's the white canister on the back of the belt that looks like it holds a lot of oreos. And besides being a model, that actual T-16 is in the background of the hangar all the time...it's the big thing to the left here:

I'm relatively certain Luke uses something else here, seeing as how it's magnetic, like it's more along the lines of a mine. He uses the same thing that the Rebels use to destory the Endor shield generator in ROTJ. I think these thermal dets are just in reference to the ones the stormies carry around again

It doesnt actually show that this is a T-16 but i do believe it is, however the only full view of it that you get is of the Toy.

Thinking about it your right, Luke use's a magnetic explosive. So it must be refering to the ones the stormies are using.

ANH:
Rebel Medium Transport

Uhhh...I believe it's in the SE around the time when Luke, Ben and the droids arrive at Mos Eisley. We see a really big worker-type droid getting pestered by a floating droid. In the background, it sure looks like the transport on the ground. It looks really beat up and discolored.

^ it didnt make its first appearance until ESB though so that cant be the ship.

I just saw it yesterday, and it sure looked like a medium transport to me. The SE changes everything. Heck, Boba Fett didn't make his first appearance (discounting the Holiday Special) until ESB, but now it's ANH.

yes, that's right, that's why it's listed as being in ANH now. Yes, technically, the first appearance is in ESB, but since the SE is canon, it's ANH now

How do you know that it is magnetic? He tosses it into the AT-AT reactor, there is no sign as to how it is magnetic.

Right...Mr. Skywalker tosses it into the hole that he makes with his lightsaber.

There's no problem at all to link to Wookieepedia.

I am assuming the three dots indicate sarcasm. However, once Luke opens up the hole and tosses the__________(thermal detonator/ magnetic mine) how do we know which it is?

Ask GL.

He wouldn't know. He wasn't really on top of all of the details of ESB. He pretty much farmed out most of it and sat back and counted the money coming in.

Ask Rick McCallum, Ben Burtt, or John Knoll.
