Well, I've never seen any problems like that here. I do tend to ask questions like that, but frankly the technology is so advanced in Star Wars that discussing it in earth terms is a little...problematic. How powerful is a Turbolaser? It could be a lot weaker than you think, just able to penatrate what it's supposed to. Me personally, I have trouble with the whole BDZ concept ESPEICALLY because it renders the Death Star a HUGE waste if a single 1.6 KM ISD can do it.

Persoanlly, I think it's needed more to flesh out the Imperials versus Rebels. Good Imperials, or even complex Imperials are hard to find even in the EU. Still, if you wanna talk technicals, I'd be happy to BS with you.

Yes, gs.com is a little less totalitarian than...other places.

But a Star Destroyer can't do a BDZ unless the planetary shields are down, and could never violently destroy a planet like the Death Star.
